Personality: FOIG
Abilities/Skills:
Chaos Powers – Nina is highly resistant to pain and injury, and is extremely flexible. She has a slight healing factor, making her wounds heal more quickly than a human.
Unique Powers – Nina has a mild psychic ability, hence her nickname, that enables her to cause mistakes in others (tripping, losing balance, missing target, etc.) and completely blacks out when enraged, becoming a vicious berserker.
Skills – Nina was trained in defensive martial arts her entire life, her adoptive mother teaching her to deflect and redirect attacks rather than strike. She became an expert with the use of a sash, augmenting her defense. Training every day has made her reasonably strong. When enraged, however, she lashes out in an almost animalistic manner, intent on the kill.
Origin: Nina was born in Chaosrealm but abandoned shortly after birth. An Edenian anthropologist named Kalliope happened to be near enough to hear the infant’s cries and decided to adopt her. Nina was then raised in Edenia, and taught ethics, art, music, and, most importantly, self-defense and survival. Kalliope thought it best to quell the chaos within her, encouraging her to live a peaceful life.
Unfortunately, the chaos could not be contained forever. A group of five Outworld deserters, former soldiers from the occupation who remained in Edenia as civilians, harassed a teenage Nina in a marketplace, deciding to secretly follow her home when she ignored their comments. They then held her and Kalliope hostage, terrifying them with threats of torture and death. The threats eventually turned to violence, Kalliope’s defiant attitude resulting in her being beaten into silence. Frightened and angry, Nina broke free of her captors and blacked out.
When she came to, Nina realized she had killed two of the men and escaped into the woodland at the base of the nearest mountain. The remaining three hunted her, furious that she had managed to evade them a second time. Using her well known environment to her advantage, Nina held out for three days in the highest branches, watching as one by one, the men fell to Edenian wildlife, be it predators or poisonous plants. The last one sought to leave the forest, giving up on capturing her, but had become hopelessly lost. Nina then left her hiding place and used her repressed psychic power to force him to trip over a root and land on a partially hidden rock, killing him instantly.
Since then, Nina has been training in the mountains, vowing to kill any Outworld warrior, former or current, who crossed her path. She has just left Edenia and is almost actively searching for a fight.
