Demons Strength and Weakness

Summoned from Hell.
They look like regular humans.
They need to feed on flesh and meat -- doesn't have to be human.
Demons need to change to a 'True Form' to devour their prey (Where they could be extremely vulnerable/powerful)
They are just as strong in the day as in the night.
Their basic instincts are not just to fight or kill, but they also like to create chaos.
Their personalities differ from demon to demon; one could be an absolute brute, whereas another could be cunning sly and devious.
Eternally young from the day they originally died: Demons are humans that were sent to hell for one reason or another.

Strength:
Physical Strength would be a big factor, five times stronger than a human?
Strong sense of smell.
A regenerative ability, they can't regrow limbs, but minor wounds would heal almost instantly. Major wounds longer -- but faster than a human.
A magical ability?
A resistance to fire

Weaknesses:
Silver in all shapes and forms.
Blood loss.
Beheading.
Drowning.
Everything that should kill a human really.

Vampire history: Vampires are immortal beings that originate all the way back to Able and Caine. In fact, it’s said that Caine was the first vampire cursed by god for his murder of his brother. Due to his monstrous and beastlike actions, he was transformed into horrifying creature. After years of walking the earth alone he made 6 vampire children. From these children the vampire society was created. A society of rulers and gods that was forced to hide in the shadows until the fall of the humans.

Vampire appearances: Once a vampire is made, her looks are frozen in time. Her skin will be unnaturally cold to the touch and become paler, but she will look the same in a thousand years as she does on the night of her turning. However, her body does not work as it used to. When they cry there, tears are blood. They no longer need to breathe or eat normal food. Also the have a form known as the beast form. During this their eyes completely blacken, their fangs extend, and they loss all connection with reality becoming more beast. This usually happens when a vampire hasn’t feed and frenzies, when a vampire attacks or gets angry, or if they feel like their life is threaten.

Strength: superhuman speed, endurance, and strength…..Superhuman senses, alertness, and durability…. Healing abilities…. Compulsion (mind manipulation of lesser vampire and humans)….telepathic and telekinetic (They only possess one of these only an elder can do both)….Shape shifting.

Weakness: sunlight weakens but does not kill
Staking a vampire with a sliver or wooden stake it sends them into a hibernation state they stay in until the item is removed.
Sliver burns the skin
Decapitation kills a vampire
Lack of rest or feeding can cause the vampire to bleed from the eyes, nose and ears. If these continues the vampire can bleed to death.
Exsanguination or removal of the heart.
Fire if unable to escape it.

Biography:
Eli went by Elair when he was human. Born into a life of crime; his father was a crime lord, and his mother had passed away when he was only six.
At 25 he was on his way to taking his father's title, however as his father began making poor decisions, Elair arranged for his house to burn down while his father slept in his bed.
After he presented himself to his father's underlings as their new leader, they all seemed to accept him, however he was shot in the back of the head moments after he made the announcement.


Strengths:
He is adept at fighting hand to hand, and he can easily control fire but not create it.


Weaknesses:
Doesn't care much for using guns, his aim and form is terrible with them.


Other facts:
At most times he is accompanied by a boy who sits quietly and never seems to take interest in anything.
Eli does his best to keep his eating habits a secret from the government, doing his best to cover his tracks.

Biography:
Not much is known about the boy's past. He sticks close to Eli, for reasons he chooses not to divulge.
He did reveal to Eli that his parents were abusive and he killed them both very violently.


Strengths:
He has grown his Telekinesis powers to overcome his lack of physical strength.
He can climb and he runs fast for his stature.


Weaknesses:
His height and his physical strength.


Other facts:
Sticks close to Eli for reasons he doesn't choose to share. Can have a short temper and doesn't hesitate to kill. Doesn't take time to cover up his tracks much.

Biography: His mother was a judge, and his father was a surgeon.
He was born in Pasadena, and he actively took an interest in science, chemistry and genetics in particular. His parents realized he was an intelligent person, as such they invested in his education. Kyo was bullied at the age of thirteen, mostly because it was a public school, and he was the smartest there. This led to his parents getting him private education, and from then he wasn’t bullied as much. Kyo loved doing work, and at seventeen he was living on his own on campus of MIT. When Kyo was eighteen his mother was murdered by a criminal she had sentenced to prison. His father went into a spiral of depression and vanished leaving Kyo a lump sum of money. Kyo was shocked, depressed, and he was given a psychologist by the university. Kyo also inherited a lot of money from his parents, money which he didn’t feel right using. Four years later he received his doctorate in Genetic Engineering and he was on his way to a Nobel Prize, creating a lab rat immune to most diseases. When society began collapsing he was one of the first to take refuge. When the dust had fallen and humans begun to die off, Kyo emerged; using his brain as his survival tool. He began documenting what was left, hoping that his notes might reach someone that would take them and use them to regrow society. He didn't hesitate to kill; to him, it was a free for all -- survival of the fittest. He didn't want to die, at his very core, he does everything and anything to survive.

Personality: survival of the fittest mentality, she comes across hard and mean due to her position and being the only female. She is fiercely independent, and refuses to let anyone see her weak.

Relationships: she was married a very long time ago and had two children, but since her change and her harsh treatment of her sire, love seems like a weakness and something to look down on.

Quirks/habits: she does not like to be touched but deals with it in certain aspects, but you can see her dislike. She sleeps with a sliver knife under her pillow. She has a soft spot for children, which she doesn’t let anyone see.

Talents: Telekinesis, all the other vampire abilities, and she can shape-shift into 2 different animals due to her age. (a black cat with her pale blue eyes, and white wolf)

Living arrangements: She currently lives in one of the many colonies in the posh uperlevels designed for the high-class vampires,

Biography: Alex was born in a small seaside village to her father a Viking King. Being the only girl, the youngest, and a princess of sorts Alex grew up sheltered. She would often have to sneak out to have any kind of fun. As time passed and her wild sprit grew, it came apparent that she had no intensions on following in her mother’s footsteps and learning to take care of the animals and house.

She fell in love with the battle and the intelligence it took become good at it. She would often steal her brother’s shields and swords to practice alone in the hay fields. She even would hatch these wondrous war tactics. As time passed and her intelligence in the area was reviled, her father stopped shielding her and allowed her to become a shield maiden. She would fight man battles alongside her brothers and other men, until she is injured during an attack.

Bleeding and losing conscious, Alex is prepared to die when someone saves her. A man named Kuff he confesses that he had always loved her ever since they were children growing up and she promises if she lives, they would be married. After weeks of healing, Alex is pronounced healed and she married Kuff. For years, she lives a happy life and bores two beautiful children a boy and a girl.

However thing do not stay perfect for too long. The downhill spiral started when Alex walked in on her husband having an affair with a young woman and man while their children slept a few feet away. Angered by this she refused to touch her husband ever again. As their marriage feel apart and turned to hatred, Alex left taking her children with her.
Angered by this her husband promised to curse her and her children for leaving.

As time passed she watched her children grow until at the young age of 4 and 6 her children developed a strange illness. Believing it was the curse she heard stories of a Seer that could heal the sick. Scared and alone she traveled to this man in hopes to help her children but what happened would change her life forever. The man was strange and had an eerie yet charming aspect to him. He agreed to save the life of her children but only if she gave the unlimited sacrifice which was her own life. She agreed and he sent her away with three small vales of red liquid. She was to give her children each a vale, before drinking her own and taking her own life.

When she finally made it back she was sad to see how sick her children had gotten, and knew what she had to do. That night she done as told before taking the vale and stabbing herself in the heart next to the sea in hopes of not being discovered. As death took her, she felt a strange sensation wash over her and everything went dark. The next night she would awake no longer human but a monster that feeds off blood and the child of a sadistic vampire sire that turned her into the vampire she is today.

Strengths: she is determined and skilled with many weapons.

Weaknesses: children and she isn’t to good at dealing with people

Spoiler: Crixus 

Name: Crixus

Age: 20’s (3000)

Race: Vampire

Appearance:

Height: 6’2”

Hair: long dark hair

Eyes: soft brown

Skin: tannish pale.

Clothing: often seen in suite his hair pulled up high on his head. He is also a member of the high council.

Muscle Build: hardy, muscled man with skin bearing the toils of past battles.

Personality: survival of the fittest mentality, cocky and cam be downright cruel. However, he does have a softer side toward Alex.

Relationships: His relationship with Alex is more of teacher and a pupil. They have had a physical relationship and he is the only one she is comfortable letting him touch her. However, love was never an option because love is weakness.

Quirks/habits: He does not trust easily and often shows this in his tone. He also is a heavy drinker

Talents: He is skilled in fighting, but excels in manipulation. He has a very strong Telekinetic power, and he can shift into two animals. (Hawk, Black wolf)

Living arrangements: he lives in the higher levels of the complex just a few doors down from Alex.

Biography: Crixus was born sometime in the first century B.C. in Gaul, where he grew up in in a family of fierce warriors. When he was young, he watched as the Arverni tribe invaded his village and killed his family before his eyes. However, they saw potential in him, captured, and took him with them. While traveling through the forest in hopes to make it to the slavers dock, the group is attacked by a group of Roman soldiers.

Beaten and abused, Crixus seen this as an chance to escape. While the Romans and Arverni tribe fought Crixus snuck up on one of the Roman men. Stealing his knife, Crixus slicing his throat and turned his rage on the men that had captured him. Killing four before of the tribe members, he turned his attention on escaping only to catch an arrow to the shoulder.

Injured and already weak from the travel, Crixus watched as one of the roman generals walked over to him a smile on his face. His vision goes dark soon after thanks to her help of the man above him. When he awakes he is chained on a ship and is told he was being brought back to Rome to be sold as a slave. Once there it didn’t take long for them to find Crixus a master.

His master was cruel and sadistic. He branded him, as well as physically and sexually abusing him as he grew into a teenager. At the age of 16, his master finally reviled to him his vampiric nature and his plans to use Crixus body to lore in men and woman only to kill them when they were done with Crixus. He told him of his plans to take over Rome, rule it, and make the human his slaves.

Scared of what the future would hold for him, Crixus allowed his master to has he pleased with his body and lored in victims. Playing the wonderful son until he reached the age of 20, his master agreed to change him and that night Crixus woke a monster. Together the two killed and raped Rome, until after mastered his new abilities Crixus murdered his maker, seeking revenge for the abuses he had suffered at his hands during his Human life. After his makers death Crixus disappeared traveling the world learning and developing his powers.

However, loneliness slowly started to set in. He would find himself seeking comfort of females and males alike before disappearing into the night leaving only his mark evidence of their bodies hidden. Or he would watch the corruption and abuse of others killing the abuser with little thought. Survival of the fits was his moto and he lived by it, until he meets Alexandria.

Lonely and hiding amongst the mountains as a Seer, he was approached by a young Viking mother. She was beautiful and had never seen anyone like her. She held a sense of fearlessness and power that not many human men let alone woman held. She spoke with cockiness and didn’t shy away even when his cold dead skin touch her warm alive body. Amazed and taken by her he offered her the cure and in replacement, he took her life. She might have died that night but when she awoke he promised her a life unlike anything else. He trained her and molded her into the vampire she is today and though harsh and sadistic there is a love that is between them.

Strengths: he doesn’t fear death and doesn’t show his emotions enough to let anyone get a hint of what his mind is really doing.

what's the plot. I know it has to do with the vampire and demons fighting for control. But how will our people interact?

My brain is crashing from a caffeine kick. I'll just start thinking through what the world is kind of like and if I've derailed from something that we've discussed, I apologize and please correct me; I've the memory of a sinkhole.

Consciousness stream: so...
We have our post apocalyptic wasteland that is poisonous to humans under normal conditions.
Few survive, probably in scattered societies built to protect them from the outside but it's basically a coffin at this stage; nothing is going to survive out there unless a drastic plan of action is carried out, and with the collapse of society, that isn't happening.
Bands of vampires, human thugs, and a handful of demons roam the streets looking to salvage anything and everything by whatever means necessary.
Vampire's are looking to salvage the humans for they are essentially humans themselves, and it's nicer to feed off a human, especially if they are willing.
Demons are rounding up humans basically to throw them into a human farm. They need to consume these humans.
With that being said, our common denominator is that the two races are in search of humans.
Now different groups of vampires may have more sinister plans, others have a more peaceful solution. The same could be said for demons but it's rare to find a peaceful demon.


So we could open up with our scientist who was trying his best to take notes of the activity of demons, while keeping under the radar, but failed and gets chased through a derelict city which is mainly under a vampire control?

Did any of that makes sense or seem coherent?

Okay I remember some of it too and yeah I understand.

So we’re going with world has been destroyed by war and his harmful and poisonous to the human. Vampires seeing their chance and need the humans to survive offer them safety for servitude.

They live in massive colony (huge 20 story buildings) but under harsh rules, which control everything in their life, even the amount of children they have. They work hard hours and if they do anything forbidden a group known as enforcers come and lock them in a makeshift jail.

Tired of being controlled a group stumbles up on ancient book about demons and hopes to summon one to destroy the vampires and once again take over. However, the summoning goes wrong and demons are brought into the world and are unable to control.

How the race is on to see who will control the human population and survive. But the humans aren’t all dumb, while their masters fight a group of scientist work hard to make the land healthy again and free themselves from the madness.

The outside world is toxic and the few rouges humans that survive do so by stealing from colony. But with hell having been unleashed demons walk the abounded streets as well. The world is no longer safe for anything now, and if a demon ever got his hand on the technology of the vampires and their secrets inside the colonies there would be no stopping them cause they would have everything they need to turn both human and vampires into slaves.

Therefore, the vampires send out human’s scientist and enforcers to monitor the demons and learn from them in hopes of keeping themselves out of harm’s way and high on the food chain.

That seems about right from what you had, and what we disused, but I was wondering what would cause your demons to meet my vampires. The human I get, but what is your idea on having the demons met the vampires. That way we have an idea on where we are going lol…

I really like your idea of starting off with the scientist running through the city it sounds like a good starting place. This can be where the first interaction takes place. Or maybe this scientist is part of the vampire colony and my girl is out there with them when the demons spot them and attack... LOL sorry I'm a planer... hope that's okay

Oh, by all means plan away, I'm open to it all.
As for the meeting with the Vampires, the scientist could be working for the vampire colony; they stumble upon him in the wilderness and after him giving the vampires a few battle scars from various traps he had set, he eventually gets captured.

It's on one of the routine scouting missions taking note of the demons that the two spot them from afar. They are wising up and watching the scientists being escorted out on occasion. The two remain under the radar. These two aren't your general roaring rabble, these have a brain between their eyes.

It could open up with the scientist being escorted by your vampire out on a routine mission; one that is done once a week, but the demons have baited one of the buildings with dead corpses, luring demons to their position?

The two could pretend to be humans also trying to escape the horde of demons, and 'get captured' simply to infiltrate a colony?

That sounds good to me. I like the idea of a mission going south and getting ambushed by demons.
Oh what if instead of the two demons actually aid the vampires and saves them. For this they get brought into the fold. That sounds like a great starting point.
