A Clash of Kings"Westeros is dying - its lands pillaged, battered and destroyed in the wake of a war as devastating as Robert's Rebellion eighteen years prior. The Stag King's son, King Joffrey "Baratheon" sits on the Iron Throne, standing against five different men all claiming to be Kings in their own right:

The Setting:
Joffery himself, is the psychotic, dimwitted son of Jaime and Cersei Lannister, a product of their incestuous relationship. With a habit for cruelty and brutality, evident from his treatment of Lady Sansa Stark and the execution of her father, the boy is already being compared to the Mad King Aerys... And is as deluded as well.
In the North sits Robb Stark, the son of Lord Paramount Eddard Stark and Lady Catelyn Tully and King of the North and Trident, eager to defeat the Lannister's and gain a measure of vengeance for his father's death and sisters imprisonment within the Red Keep. With the support of his bannermen, he marches south beneath the Neck, eager to bring the Lannister's to justice.
On the volcanic island of Dragonstone sits the rightful claimant to the Iron Throne, the stern faced and harsh man known as Stannis Baratheon - following the knowledge that King Joffery and his siblings were the product of incest between Queen Cersei Lannister and Ser Jaime Lannister of the Kingsguard (via letter from Ned Stark), Stannis raised his men and hopes to take his birth right.
In the Stormlands resides King Renly Baratheon, Robert Baratheon's youngest sibling and the current Lord Paramount of the Stormlands. Persuaded by Loras Tyrell, the younger Baratheon struck his banners and proclaimed his intent to take the throne, much to his brothers chagrin.
And with all this going on, the Ironborn have decided to rise up once more, sensing the opportunity to gain independence from the soft mainlanders of the Seven Kingdom. Balon Greyjoy, with the support of his Ironborn reavers, has launched his ships northwards to attack the lands of Robb Stark... Directly in the heart of the boy's new found kingdom.
With all these supposed "Kings", only one thing is certain - the Game of Thrones is a dangerous one indeed...
Rules
This will be a mature roleplay event - characters will die gory deaths, there will be harsh themes and nobody is safe. With strong language, violence and harsh, possibly upsetting themes, this RP is not for the faint of heart.
Here's some basic ground rules for the RP:
- We'll be following book canon for the RP - I can fill you in for certain bits missing on the show.
- Your characters do not and will not have diplomatic immunity. This means that they can die in certain circumstances, often very violently. That being said, it's up to you if you want this to happen
- If you're going to be pursuing romance in this RP, don't be overly explicit - cut away to black if stuff gets steamyRomance between players is encouraged if you're into that kinda thing.
- I shall be the GM yet encourage people to PM if they have an idea for the story to progress a certain way.
- Put "Winter is coming" at the top of your bio so I know you've read the ruleset.
- Other than these, regular RPA rules apply.

Personality: The Youngflower is regarded as both an honorable warrior, a charming young man and an intelligent individual - raised in Highgarden until his seventeenth name day, he is easy going and good humored towards people he feels he has a bond with. Don't let his easygoing demeanour fool you though - around those he feels are a threat to House Stark or his family, he is aggressive and harsh.
Skills: Growing up alongside the Tyrell sons, Daniel quickly became a formidable swordsman. Out of the three lads (Daniel, Loras and Garlan), the Youngflower had the graceful jousting skills of Loras and the brilliant swordsmanship of Garlan rolled into one. However, that's all he's really good at...
Appearance:
Daniel has a tall, lean muscled physique with dark red hair that falls to his shoulders and emerald green eyes. Standing at around six feet tall, he stands out amongst the common people though is nowhere near the height of the Northern lords who also align themselves with the Starks (*cough* the Greatjon *cough*)

History:
Born in the year of 280 AL, to a cadet branch of House Tyrell, the Youngflower was brought up to survive in the harsh realities of the world - he had no real place to call his own. See, while he was distant kin to the Tyrells, they treated him more like a servant then a cousin, often ordering him about to meaningless, mundane errands such as cleaning the stables or cooking in the kitchens. The children of the Reach lords had no real affinity towards the young lad, often targeting him for having his distinctive blood red hair and slender frame - in an attempt to defend himself, he began to train in the tourney fields with sword, lance and shield in order to show he was meant to do something with his life other than be picked on. It turned out, he was pretty damn good!
At age seventeen, he left the keep of Highgarden in order to see the world and explore it - he'd find more adventure and glory outside the Reach instead of being cooped up inside like an animal. Thus he set off to the capital and quickly found out about the game of thrones. With the announcement of Ned Stark becoming Hand of the King, Daniel quickly enlisted in the jousting lists and progressed through them skillfully, managing to unhorse Ser Meryn Trant and Ser Preston Greenfield of the Kingsguard in the process. Earning the respect of the Northerners through his humility and humbleness's, he decided to accept an invitation as the Lord Hand's guardsman... Until the man was imprisoned and executed...
Being told to head back north to inform the heir to Winterfell of the events in Kings Landing, the Youngflower determinedly vowed to do his duty.

Name: Arah Harrow
Nationality: Ironborn
Gender: Female
Age: 20
Personality: Arah is bold and good-humoured, with an easy temper that becomes fierce when she is consistently provoked. She is kind and friendly to her fellow Ironborn - treating them like friends. Although she has dealt with a great deal of derision for being a woman, she is usually able to win over the men on her ship through her prowess and good nature. She is headstrong, and tends not to think of her enemies as people - like most Ironborn she sees her foes strictly as that, and her prisoners as less than that. With that said, this cultural aspect to her personality is not fixed, and exposure to certain situations could easily change her opinions. She has a fairly fluid personality, ephemeral like the tides. Her ideals and beliefs change constantly based on the people who surround and influence her. She has a fierce love for men and for drink - and enjoys combat. While most people would compare her to Asha Greyjoy, she laughs at this comparison - likening herself to Robert Baratheon instead. She rarely references the fact that she’s a woman, preferring to think of gender as being irrelevant. She values strength and beauty and a fierce soul.
More than anything, Arah is driven by the desire to scorn tragedy and cast the evils of the world aside. She faces pain with a grin, despair with laughter. She has shed enough tears. Her house's obsession with tragedy has been a self-fulfiling prophecy time and time again. Arah is determined to move past it. Her ability to ignore tragedy is not entirely a benefit. In the pursuit of her carefree attitude she tends to ignore or overlook it altogether. She will often ignore torment. In a way, war is a game to her - and she has a hard time ascribing humanity to those she fights. She has no malice towards them - they're good sports, but their suffering doesn't matter.
Skills: Arah, having found herself the lady of Widow Point quite suddenly was forced to adopt a different path from most women on the Iron Islands. Training in the art of swordplay, and of sailing - Arah grew into a warrior and a captain on par with some of the most respected men in the islands. She isn’t a graceful fighter, but she is strong, quick and skilled - well above the average. Although not a knight, Arah’s status as a noble has allowed her to equip herself with plate armour and a fine blade. While not of Valyrian steel, its slender design marks it as a bastard sword from Asshai - purchased off a trader from the east. She is a capable sailor and a charismatic captain. Her ability to win over crew that doubt her is notorious, and often stems from sharing copious amounts of alcohol. She captains the mighty warship Grief.
Appearance: Arah is tall, broad and powerfully built for a woman. Her long raven hair falls loosely around her lower neck, and her sapphire eyes dance with mirth. She stands just under 6 feet, with a fierce smile and an exultant laugh. Her skin is as pale as one would expect from an Iron Islander, with a few marks from old spots and pimples finally beginning to ease up. She has all the beauty and exuberance of youth. She lacks the lean, wiry frame of many female warriors, benefitting instead from unusually potent strength. Her figure is curvaceous and appealing when not in armour - and broad and forebiding while in it. She wears platemail of black steel - warded at the joints by cold ringmail. This armour includes a greathelm. The suit was passed down to her by her father, a family heirloom. House Harrow does not possess a Valyrian steel blade, but Arah proudly carries a tempered steel longsword into battle.
Allegiance: Arah has pledged her allegiance to House Greyjoy, and follows the Lord Reaper of Pyke’s call to war.
History: Arah was born the only child to Roderik and Olenna Harrow. The Harrows are an old house steeped in strange culture. They are the lords of Widow Point, and the island that they call home is farther north and east than any of the others. This has made them a place of trade with the east, and ideas and exotic goods flow into Widow Point. Their words are ‘Sorrow in our wake’. Strangely, despite their conservative and bleak ancestry - the people of Widow Point have become fairly enlightened and progressive due to the influx of ideas from the east. They are less concerned about having a female leader as many other Ironborn might. Despite this, they are still heavily tied to their culture. They bear tattoos as a coming of age ritual for both men and women - demonstrating their tolerance for pain and marking strength and endurance.
Arah was beloved by both her mother and father, who had been struggling to have a child for many years and finally succeeded in their late thirties. Arah was never short on love or affection, which in turn made her a loving and affectionate person. She never worried about the difficulties of ruling or combat. She knew that as their sole living child, Arah was her father’s heir - but even so, the reality of that situation seemed an eternity away. This proved to be a delusion. The ancient hall of Widow Point was fairly decrepit, and one night in a powerful storm - an entire wing of the castle fell away into the sea, taking Roderik and Olenna with it when Arah was twelve.
Arah mourned for a long time, and finally brought herself out of her slump by forcing herself to train in all the ways of the Ironborn. Murmurs of dissent reached her ears, her people were dissatisfied with the idea of being led by a little girl. Fortunately, she still had the support of her father’s friends, particularly a grizzled warrior named Hars Iron-Eye. Hars drilled her mercilessly in combat at her own request - and she grew into a large, strong woman who ultimately became a fine warrior in her own right. Over time her people came to accept her as a worthy leader, but considering their comparatively progressive ideals - Arah knew that she would not have such an easy time finding her place among the rest of the Ironborn. Pledging her few men and fewer ships to the Greyjoys, Arah follows the iron fleet into the north - where she hopes to prove herself as a warrior and a leader.
The sigil of House Harrow is a blood red skull on a black and grey field per bend sinister. It has long been rumoured that a deadly curse rests upon House Harrow, that tragedy will always befall the lord or lady of the house. This results in a typically morose and gloomy demeanour of its leaders, and by extension its men. They believe that they are doomed from the outset, and that eventually tragedy will befall them. Arah laughs into the wind and leads her force of dour reavers with a fierce smile on her face.

Name: Stannis Baratheon, First of His Name
Nationality: Stormlander
Age: 36
Personality: Stannis is regarded by the majority of the Seven Kingdoms as a brooding and humorless man with a harsh but fair sense of justice and an obsession with slights both real and imagined. Following his elevation to Lord of Dragonstone, Stannis has become withdrawn and constantly distant towards other people, possibly due to his brother Robert giving Stannis's birthright of Dragonstone to his brother Renly. As a result, any mention of either of his brothers can irritate and annoy the man.
Skills: A harsh man, he is regarded as a skilled but overcautious military commander, with a stubborn determination to succeed at any cost in his wars. He's also fairly competent with a sword but is not even half as formidable as his elder brother was, nor does he command the adulation of his subjects in the same manner as his younger sibling does.
Appearance: Like his brothers, Robert and Renly, Stannis is a large man - tall, broad shouldered and sinewy and standing at around six feet tall. Stannis has dark blue eyes and a heavy brow and his head has only a fringe of black hair "like the shadow of a crown," and he has a close-cropped beard across his large jaw. His face has a tightness to it like cured leather, and he has hollow cheeks, and thin, pale lips.

Spoiler: Lady Antoinette Blackstock (Played by .Karma)
Name: Lady Antoinette Blackstock, formerly of House Ensmore.
Nationality: Northwoman
Gender: Female
Age: 24
Personality: A ball of sass and wit, she often doesn’t care for how women are supposed to act, nor does she often filter her tongue. She has learned proper etiquette and will use it when necessary or if it benefits her in some way. Antoinette has a good sense of humor and a fiery temper. She can be seen as flirtatious, but usually, it’s just her trying to be friendly. Her father often told her that she must have been switched at birth with a wildling.
Skills: She is good with a bow, but not many other weapons. Her brother Tristan taught her despite her mother’s disapproval. Embroidery. Good general knowledge. Soaks in information quickly and retains it.
Appearance: Antoinette has naturally red hair and stunning blue eyes. She stands at about 5’7” and has a slim build. She is fit, but not overly muscular, a little bit more defined in her arms from shooting her bow. There is the sparkle of sass in her eyes that rarely leaves as if she is almost always up to something, even when she’s not.

History: Antoinette grew up the youngest of three older brothers (Tristan - 27, Blythe - 29, Leland - 32). She never quite took to being a lady and could often be found trying to hide in a tree, or trying to join in her brother's training. Her brother Tristan, who was closest to her age, even broke down and taught her to use a bow. Despite all that, she did learn from her septa the proper ways for a lady. She knew her history, about the seven, and plenty of things about the houses. She was even quite good at embroidery, but she just didn’t didn’t like it. There was a whole world out there, she did not want to be kept quiet, patient, and indoors.
Really her life was typical for a northern lady, and she had a good childhood, with parents who loved all their kids very much. When she was about 16, Rowyn Blackstock began to squire under her father. Her father and his both went off to fight alongside Ned Stark in Robert’s Rebellion and Rowyn remained with House Ensmore. They became close in the time he spent there, rumor had it they had become too close. With their fathers having bonded in the war and hearing the rumors upon the return. A marriage was arranged between the two. She hated that she was being told she had to marry someone, but if she was going to married off to someone she was glad it was Rowyn.
Her and Rowyn are now married, and she still has problems acting a lady. It had been hard to feel like all the things going on in King’s Landing really affected them at all. That was until their dear Warden Ned Stark was killed. She had visited and known the Starks, although not well, and she felt terrible for their family. It was the first time she actually felt frightened and as if something between the royals may have a major impact on her.
Of course, her and Rowyn are fully supportive of the King in the North, as are her father and brothers. Antoinette tries hard to remain positive and her normal self, but her life is surrounded by men she cares about, and now they are all running off to war. Deep down she was rather scared and full of uncertainty, but you would never guess it. Well, maybe Rowyn would, but he doesn’t count.

Joffrey was strong-willed as a child and has an uncontrollable temper not unlike his mother Cersei and an unchecked sadistic streak. He has little sense of right or wrong, which often leads him to trouble, especially when he loses his temper. When things go wrong, he always blames the problems on others. Despite being willful he is reckless, vicious, cruel and not very intelligent, all of which combine to make him prone to irrational and bad judgements.

History:
Joffrey grew up as a spoiled and indulgent child with a cruel streak within him. As the heir to the throne, Joffery was afforded a life of luxury, wearing expensive clothing, rings and other rare valuables - these privileges alongside his rowdy nature and foul, cruel temper have made the young man into a foul person indeed.
Following the arrest of Ned Stark, the boy king instigated the War of Five Kings by beheading the man after promising mercy to his daughter - thus provoking the North to rebel against the Iron Throne. In addition to this, his uncles Stannis and Renly rose up as well to take the throne for themselves upon hearing that Joffery was in fact the son of Cersei Lannister and her twin Jaime the Kingslayer. Outraged, the Ill-Ruler has decided to crush all those who rebel against his rule - with brutal, swift cruelty.
Spoiler: Lord Rowyn Blackstock (Played by StormWolf)
Name: Lord Rowyn Blackstock, the First of his Name, heir to the House Blackstock, the Ironclad
Nationality: Northerner
Gender: Lad
Age: 26
Personality: Rowyn is an individual of many layers and facets, proving to be either a pleasant surprise or acute aggravation to those who dig and pry at court. At face value, Rowyn appears as "just another stern northerner". His face is all stony planes and angles with eyes like chips of ice, tall and broad shouldered with a physique and bearing befitting the lethal creature of their banner. Verily, he appears as a cut-and-dry personification of the Blackstock ideals, but writhing beneath that stony exterior is wild as he is passionate. Though Rowyn may be beholden to his wrathful temper, he has never been one to lash out. He bides his time and picks the best moment to strike out at those who has slighted him or his house.
Skills: First and foremost, Rowyn is an accomplished and proven swordsman, enough so to be spoken of among fellow bannermen in hushed tones. He is also a shrewd tactician, known to spit in the face of "gentleman's warfare" and, like his father before him, use shock and awe maneuvers against the enemy. In courts, however, Rowyn is something of a blunt instrument. In this, at least, he has his wife to help him navigate the treacherous waters. As expected of a lord, Rowyn can ride and hunt with the rest of them, though he is admittedly shit with a bow and arrow, preferring a good spear instead.
Rowyn has proven on several occasions to have one hell of a liver, and people often joke his honorific of Ironclad was for his incredible tolerance to alcohol.

Casting an imposing figure, Rowyn stands on the tall side of the northman average, with broad shoulders and thick, sinuous limbs. He is a hirsute man with the build of a boxer, his fair skin slightly bronzed from his time beneath the sun. He bears a handful of scars from before his change, cutting pale streaks across his hide. Rowyn's hair is a walnut mane of shoulder length, often tied back in a short tail. Like other lords of the north, Rowyn is bearded, though he keeps his groomed and short enough to fit within his helmet. His demeanor is overall rather wolfish; with sullen brows, a strong nose, and a anvil-shaped jaw.
Rowyn's everyday attire is not much different from other northmen – linen tunics, quilted leather surcoat, and his cloak bearing the furred mantle of a shadowcat, its head resting over his left shoulder. His attire commonly reflects the color of his house, choosing deep blues for his tunics and a burgundy for a sash. When in battle, Rowyn wears a hauberk of plated mail along with the commonly seen Northman brigandine, as well as a gorget and full set of armor for his arms. While it is customary for the head of the house to carry the heirloom sword until their death, Lord Roland Blackstock bequeathed Krakendoom to Rowyn as Robb's War began, the Lord Paramount of Blackstock too laden with old wounds to effectively fight
Allegiance - The King in the North

Firstborn of five, Rowyn always had great expectation placed upon him. His Lord-Father was a stern and distant fellow during Rowyn's upbringing, often leaving the lad to be taught and tutored by the Master-of-Arms and the Maester of their castle. From sunrise to sunset, the Shadowcat cub was run through a series of tests, trials, and gauntlets. The oldest of his scars delivered from his Lord-Father's own firm hand. It was evident that Rowyn needed to prove himself as something, as someone, to earn Roland's respect. Relief came in the form tourneys and mingling courts, as Lord Roland became too preoccupied with elevating the House to pay Rowyn much mind.
Such hardship was not forever, though, as Rowyn was sent to squire under a long-time ally of House Blackstock, the Lord Ensmore. Though still a stoic and stern northerner, Lord Ensmore was a far kinder man than Lord Roland would ever be. Partway into his time as a squire, Robert's Rebellion erupted, consuming the land in chaos. Lord Ensmore and his eldest son went to fight in the Rebellion, leaving Rowyn to help the House Ensmore guard maintain order within their lands and protect their keep. Though little was expected of him in this capacity, Rowyn proved himself as a fearsome and righteous justicar. It took a few days of examples for looting to all but cease, though the details of such examples were kept mum, for Rowyn did not wish for the Lady Antoinette to see him as monstrous. Over Rowyn's year-long stay at the House Ensmore castle, he and the Lady Antoinette grew quite fond of each other despite her shaming him in tests of archery. Affection grew deeper, into something entirely deeper and more volatile. They would, of course, never admit to any liaison before they were wed, but few are so naive as to believe them. However, they would neither wish to draw Rowyn's ire by calling them liars.
Following the conclusion of Robert's Rebellion, a marriage was arranged between Rowyn and Antoinette, marking one of the rare occasions where Rowyn smiled so wide his whole head ached the following day. For some time, they enjoyed peace in their wedlock, but it wasn't long before the Ironborn reared their heads in a rebellion of their own. At this point proven and respected by men of Ensmore and Blackstock, Rowyn joined in the fight against the Ironborn. When their ships assailed the sea cliffs of Caerlavyroc and the sea forts along the coast of the Rills, the Blackstocks pushed back against them with all of their loathsome fury. Fighting alongside his Lord-Father in several battles on sea and shore, Rowyn's wrathful streak burned at Pyke. Like the looters and brigands of Robert's War, Rowyn commanded each Ironborn captain taken captive would serve as an example. Shaving down the masts of their ships to a narrow spike, Rowyn commanded every captain be impaled upon their own ships and sailed into the ports of the Iron Islands.
Presently, Rowyn is the head of the Blackstock family in all but name. His father, too wounded to fight, manages affairs of court while Rowyn bears Krakendoom as the military arm and face of the family. When Robb Stark mustered his banners, Blackstock men have been flocking to the Young Wolf's side. Now, Rowyn has joined the King in the North himself, leaving the defense of his keep and his wife to his Lord-Father and younger brothers.

Nationality: Dorne
Gender: Female
Age: 22
Personality: Valeria loves material wealth and physical sensations, often overindulging in drugs and alcohol, gambling and flirting all day, and overstaying her welcome. Free spirited and fun loving, she has a seductive personality, a sharp tongue, and sweet words, but can change in an instant when weapons are drawn, becoming a cold and calculating opponent out for blood. She tries to start every day with an hour or two of weapons training and end every day by bedding someone.
Skills: Valeria is a seductress with a sharp tongue and sweet words, and has received small amounts of training with a handful of weapons. Before she left Dorne, Valeria trained in the combat traditions of her people, learning how to use the spear and double-curved bow so popular in her homeland, as well as the buckler and how to ride a sand steed. A month long affair in Braavos lead her to pick up the Braavosi blade and dagger weapons as well, though she is not nearly as trained in those as in her other weapons. Finally, because of her love of material wealth, she is adept at bargaining and honeyed words.
Appearance: Agile and lithe, Valeria stands at only five and a half feet. Like her mother’s people along the coast of Dorne, she has smooth olive skin, but has inherited many traits of the Dornishmen of the Red Mountain, including blond hair and freckles, and the signature violet eyes of house Dayne. She wears light leather plated with metal disks in the appearance of scales, and a light, sandy-colored, loose-fitting robe over it.

History: Valeria lived with her mother for only two years after her birth, being shipped off to the Red Mountains to live with her father. Her and her father had a loving relationship, but he intended to marry her off as soon as she was of age, and treated her like the women north of Dorne were often treated. She was not allowed to pursue the ways of her people, no matter how much she wanted to. When she finally came of age, on her wedding night, she burned down half of the courtyard, destroyed most of the wine, and spit in the face of her suitor, disappearing into the night. She spent several days alone in the mountains before her father’s men finally tracked her down. Because of her embarrassment, her father sent her off to live with her mother, and the two have not spoken since.
Unlike her father, her mother encouraged Valeria to learn the ways of her people, and so she did. She spent years learning how to use the bow, the spear, the buckler, and how to ride a sand steed. She loved it, and for the first time in her life, she felt truly alive. She began several love affairs, fell in love with coin and wine, and realized her lust for adventure. When she turned eighteen, she set out to explore Westeros and the Free Cities both, spending months in every realm she possibly could. After years abroad, she returned to her homeland of Dorne.

Gender: She-bear, does that count? Well, lass, then.
Age: Twenty years old.
Personality: A mild tempered young woman, Madge is young but has what her mother has called, “a good head.” She is good humored and can be spontaneous. Appropriately private, it can come off as an air of mystery at times, or as lady-like reserve. Madge is rational and will often observe until a problem appears and then is quick to take action. Her stubborn nature and historically risky behavior have gotten her into a few close scrapes, but she tends to be great in a crisis.
Strengths: Madge is a skilled fighter, like her mother and sister. She favors a battleaxe, similar to the one held by the woman depicted on the Mormont’s keep’s gate, but prides herself in being adaptable. Upon several occasions, Madge has travelled to the mainland to attend tournaments and twice been discovered to be competing in the disguise of a man, but only revealed after being accused of cheating when besting her competitors.
She may not have all the skill and finesse of a Southern lady in politics, but Madge is wise beyond her years and usually good council, if not rather frank. When needed, she can pull a good face and act a lady.
Skilled at sailing, she has lead the defense of Bear Island from freefolk and ironborn alike on several occasions.
Like her sister, Madge is as elegant in dress and dance as she is lethal in battle.
Allegiance: House Mormont is loyal to the Starks, with no exception.
Appearance: Madge is the fraternal twin of Dacey Mormont; they are very much alike in many ways, but where Dacey is nearly six feet tall, Madge is a mere 5’7” and she does not completely share her sister’s lanky features. Madge is comely and wears her dark brown hair long and usually loose; her skin is fair and her eyes are as blue as the Bay of Ice. She wears southron armor, the boiled leather and ringmail of the Northmen, and lady’s garb equally well.

Personality: Robb was brought up by his father, Lord Eddard, to show a keen devotion to honor and justice - as a result he strives to do the best thing possible for his subjects. In addition, his status as heir to Winterfell has trained the boy in the art of diplomacy, from using charming courtesies to shrewd negotiations.
However, his reliance on the thought of honor and justice means he has no real grasp on the art of political intrigue.
Skills: A dutiful warrior, Robb inspires undying loyalty from his bannermen as the King in the North - capable of ruling both in battle and at court.

Robb Stark was born in 283 AL, the firstborn son of Lord Eddard Stark and his wife Lady Catelyn Tully. Robb was raised at Winterfell as his father's heir, and became the closest of companions with his half-brother Jon Snow. The heir to the largest of the Seven Kindmgdoms, Robb was groomed for lordship very early on in life, being tutored by both his father and the elderly Maester Luwin in the arts of rulership and duty to his people.
In the year 298 AL he was named the temporary ruler of Winterfell whilst his father served the Baratheon's as the new hand of the King... Until Robert's death and the ascension of his brat son Joffery. Hearing of his fathers imprisonment at the hands of the boy king, Robb mobilised his forces and began to march south, stopping at the Neck. This is where his story begins...
