So yeah, private RP ideas, I have a few



But first, a lil something something about myself.

Because the older I get, the more of a complete and utter narcissistic mess I become.

Spoiler: narcissistic rambles vaguely about me 

-I'd prefer semi-literate players, but story's what's important to me. As long as you can hold a good plot and keep it clear and understandable, that's fine by me.

-I'm a chatty little so and so, so I think it'd be nice if we could really discuss and chat about our RPs. Effectively I'm asking if you could be relatively talkative, if not though don't worry. I'll find enough words for the both of us

-I'm comfortable with all sexual orientations and preferences but I simply prefer hetero if that's ok, simply cause I'm more experienced with them. However if there's a relationship that we find particularly compelling I'm more than willing to give anything a go

-If you don't fancy any of my ideas, but still wanna give RP-ing with me a go, go ahead and do just that! Drop me a PM and we'll discuss any ideas you or I come up with

-If you're concerned with schedules and the like, I'm at Uni at the mo, but I'll make time for this so don't worry.
Oh, I live in England too, so that makes me Greenwich Mean Time or whatevs (GMT)

-If you're reading this far still, I'll bore you with some more detailed... details about myself. You can call me Bee and I like viddy gems, RP-ing of course and I persuade myself on a daily basis that I'm relatively decent at drawing.

-Regarding RP genres I like, I feel you can't beat a bit of good old fashioned fantasy, it's a nice flexible topic, I have similar feelings for Sci-Fi, though I'm less practiced in it. I favor the more futuristic aspects of it than space travel and the like, though I'm still up for all sorts.
Oh and then there's romance. I am a sucker for romance.

-Concerning mature themes, I pretty much just write whatever's accurate for that particular story and or character. Effectively I may swear or get a little violent or whatever, but if you're not comfortable with that sorta stuff I'm happy to tone it down for you.

So yeah, I found this game had one of the most intriguing stories I've come across in a long time, and I feel it's simply dying for a Role play adaptation of sorts.

I wouldn't want to copy the exact story in the game of course. But I'd like to try something along the lines of how it dealt with communicating. Two characters talking through a device of sorts with no other physical contact. It doesn't have to be the exact same situation of walkie talkies and a firewatch tower even, could be friends talkin over the phone or an online chat-room or whatever.

I just wanna try a RP that's literally just a conversation, no descriptions of movements or actions that the characters do, just what they say to each other.

It's an RP that would be heavily character and relationship driven. So if you're interested, drop me a line

So this one's wonderfully vague, and probably not at all clear. It's a simple premise that would go in to detail when regarding relationships and character development.

The basics of it are this, A Father or Mother, are reunited with their Daughter or Son, after abandoning them at a very early age for ultimately not too good reasons. The Parent is now at a better place though.

It'd be an RP that's open for lots of creativity. For example, I'd honestly like to explore this situation in a more fantasy setting perhaps, perhaps a battle worn pirate's finally settling down and decides to get in touch with a bastard child he long ago left behind? That sort of thing. Alternatively it could be more modern perhaps? Who knows? Like I said, open for plenty of interpretation.

Still looking? Because I'm a creative little toast who likes talking in the OOC and is fun to RP with. I'm normally always online, but I can't post all the time. Right now I have a weak internet connection. Even then, I have my issues and some days I'm not up to it. I will still be able to chat and be friendly and such. I won't be vague about it. I'll shoot you a message, "Having a few bad days I'll post as soon as possible,". If I get bored or want to pause the RP I will be upfront about it.

Now... I was thinking of how to combine one of my ideas with one of yours. The abandoned parent one could be fun. I was thinking that this parent was literally death or the king/queen of the Afterworld. What is the Afterworld? It's basically the afterlife except it's Heaven, Hell, Limbo, etc all in one. It doesn't matter if you're a good or bad person you go to the same place. My MC's parents could have shipped him away to the Beforeworld (before death) so he wouldn't have to follow in their footsteps and become the ruler, but now someone has to take back the order or chaos will roam over both the After and Before worlds.

My character is Gordon. He is technically pansexual, but he prefers woman. So if we were to give it a romantic element then it would stay boy-girl. He has some interesting abilities. He is supposed to be able to control the shadows and fire, but he doesn't know how to do it correctly. He also has “probability vision,” to where he can see every possible outcome of every situation. He doesn’t always get it right though and things never go according to plan. He is about to be twenty-one years old.

Also, I prefer for it to not be too mature. I don't do too much gore or sex scenes. This could be a fantasy setting if that's what you prefer. I imagine the Afterworld would be tech deprived. The Beforeworld could be futuristic or it could be more Fantasy setting.

That's just the idea. We can tweak it anyway. And, sorry it's kind of a mess... It's not compiled at this point and just a group of random thoughts.

lemme explain

for the parent thing, i envisioned a completely dialogue based single encounter between just one parent and their child. itd be a deep character study explored through conversation alone. kinda like two actors sharing a scene in a play thingy. perhaps odd and not completely fitting for an RP, but it was just something i wanted to try? idk.

but i like your idea tho, just maybe on its own instead of mushing it with my parent thingy

Ah, okay. I don't think the ideas mush together too well then. The alternative idea I had, is Gordon doesn't want to take over his parents reign and runs away from the Afterworld to the Beforeworld. If that works better? We could mix any other ideas you wanted. Cop drama, fantasy world, romance, or maybe a Game of Thrones kind of way dealing with the Afterworld? I never seen or read GOT and don't want it to be as mature, but I'm sure we could pull it off. And, if not we can figure out something else to do. We could have factions and a bunch of characters, if we wanted. It would take longer to set up, but it could be worth it.
