The year was 2060 and the world was at it's peak of life. The Superpowers still dominated the world. North and South America, the UK, Frace, Spain, and South Korea formed one Superpower: The Republic. Australia, the rest of Europe, Russia, and Africa formed another: The Dominion. Finally, from Mongolia down to Indonesia and across to Japan, the Asian Superpower known as The Empire ruled. The United Nations had finally been given power to make change and arguements delt with finally started coming through with positive effects. But this front of fragile peace was mere illusion... The year was 2071. Eleven years of peace had left the world feeling confident that it was changing for the better. But dark shadows lurked beneath the surface. The Dominion was silently amassing an army, restless and thirsty for war. The Dominion wanted only one thing: total control. However, war plans were leaked and the other Superpowers also began to amass their armies. Their smiles were a public mask now, to keep the world at peace, but you could see the knives they secretly held behind their backs. In 2072 an assasination of the United States President, resulted in thirteen Dominion citizen deaths. All were part of a secret group called the Dominion of Darkness. The Republic could not fake peace any longer and declared war. It was not long before the Empire joined the fight. The year was 2080. Nine years of fighting had slowly begun to tear the nations apart. The UN was disbanned and the Imperial Army had formed an Alliance with the Army of the Dominion. The Republic was terribly outnumbered and the Empire had begun to mount Nuclear weapons. It seemed that a Nuclear war was inevitable. In desperation, Spain tried to save it's own country by leaking news of a new weapon being built by the Republic. A bomb more fearsome than anything ever created. It was called Death Bringer. The year was 2085. Five years of toil had finally created the ultimate weapon of mass destruction. Death Bringer was ready to deliver the final blow and end what had become World War III once and for all. It was launched from a base in Nevada, and sent to deliver the blow to the heart of the Dominion: Moscow, Russia. But when news of Spain's betrayals finally reached the US it was too late. The fleet of planes transporting the Death Bringer was destroyed and the bomb plummeted to earth. The Republic could only stare in horror thinking, "what have I done?" The Death Bringer landed in North United States but it's destruction had surpassed anything and everything the scientists had hoped for. It's destruction covered the world. The last reminents of a peaceful society were reduced to rubble and ash. Nearly all life perished. However, for reasons no one seemed to understand, some humans still survived....and some...had changed. The year was 2099. Humanity had finally begun to rebuild, but life was not the same. The effects of the Death Bringer had changed the genes of some humans. It altered their appearance, and most often gave them strange abilities. This new race of people found themselves stronger than oridinary humans. They aged slower, had incredible strength and resiliance, and of course had abilities the humans did not posses. Becuase of their strength they began to call themselves titans. For years the titans were feared and allowed to rule the humans, but they were becoming greedy and started demanding more and more. The year was 2103. A young titan died of unusual causes. The body was heavily mutilated, and a dark black X had appeared on his skin. At first the titans blamed the humans, but humans retaliated by saying none were strong enough to harm a titan in such a way. The X was mysterious as well. Soon, more and more titans began to die. All the bodies were mutilated and all the bodies possesed the black X. Finally, a human girl was reported having developed powers out of nowhere. She was captured and studied along with a few other similiar cases. They all ended up with a black X somewhere on their bodies. It became clear that a third race had entered the picture. The scientists named them Generation X, or Genexes for short. They were an unstable combination of titan and human who usually developed powers around nine or ten and usually died before the age of 21. This knowledge was top secret and eventually buried with the rest of the rubble of the decaying world. The outside world never learned the truth, for at that time a new order had descended to the world. The year was 2104. They called themselves the Trilite, and combination of Triple and Elite. Three titans, each from a different dominion, taking power above all others. They soon became the supreme leaders of the crippled world. Each was powerful and fearful but for a while peace had returned. It did not last long. Alaric, the Trilite member who hailed from the Dominion saw humans as weak and Genexes as impure. He beleived it was time for the titans to rule freely and he began to kill everything other than titans, in secret. Year 2134...For thirty years we have been at the Trilte's mercy. For thirty years we have hid from Alaric's forces, the Crimson Soldiers. For thirty years we have survived. Now we are dying again... Rules: No GMing No Mary-sues! Keep fighting fair, plan ahead through pms to see who will win what battles. ANY alliances should be KEPT SECRET until the reveal! DO NOT plan ANY Alliances in the OOC! Be LITERATE OR I WILL EAT YOU! I WANT ALL OF THAT TO BE LEARNED IN THE RP! So keep that to ya'self!` Factions: Titans: Superhumans who mutated from the effects of death bringer. They posses abilities far greater than anything on Earth and are feared greatly for their destructive power. At the height of their power, Titans are all classified as Minor Weapons of Mass Destruction. The strongest Titan ever recorded was famous for wiping out an entire city single handedly. Genexes: Humans who, for unknown reasons, gained Titan abilities. They are stronger than humans and nearly equal Titans in strength however the strain their powers put on their bodies is incredible. Humans fear Genexes and Titans are appalled by them, so they usually keep to themselves, hidden in underground bases. Genex groups are known as Tribes and are made up of entirely kids and teens. Humans: The weapon masters. Humans, fearing their disadvantage against the Titans and Genexes began to once again master technology. They are the world's leaders on steam technology and have created weapons strong enough to combat the Titans. Powers: The Republic: The place where Death Bringer was created and destroyed, and from which it's devastation spread around the world. such close prosimity to the bomb desicrated most of the US, leaving many dead zones and hundreds of large cities in ruins. Life is hardest in the Republic but it is quickly getting back on its feet. The Dominion: Currently the most powerful Superpower. The Dominion is Titan dominant as the "cleansing" has begun there. The headquarters of the Trilite is also located within the Dominion in Greece. The Empire: The Empire is the leader of steam technology. After the effects of Death Bringer, the once technologically proud Superpower began to restore its reputation. They trade steam technology with the Dominion to ensure their safety. In fact, I was hoping for it. ^^ but I wouldn't be stupid enough to Alaric alone if I was you...or maybe I would. That'd be dramatic. I'm playing Alaric BTW. ^^ I love playing the sociopathic ebil villian. Lol. Sigma: They could have gills, armour imbedded in their skin, or even wings. It doesn't have to be anything grotesque. Let's see....destructive limits....personally I just say to be reasonable. If you think it's too much then dial it back. For Titans, well, the powers they have are incredible so damaging the landscape and killing mass humans single handedly is a given. They are, essentially, little WOMD. But I'd say keep it realistic. Humans are at the biggest disadvantage, but they are technology experts since they have nothing else. Becuase of the destruction of modern technology, humans have had to start over with steam technology. Only THIS time it's on SETROIDS! >:D Genexes have the same destructive powers as Titans, but using thier powers causes incredible strain on their bodies.

This form has devastating strength, speed, and relexes. Along with a strange nack of summoning and using electricity. This demonic form can rip humans clean in half without using any real force and his claws are like samarai swords they are so sharp. He is also nearly indestructible in this form, so it takes A LOT to do any real damage to him. Sword hands: His fingers meld together and form a sharp swordlike weapon. (Think the blonde servant to Diva in Blood+ ) They are incredibly sharp and hard as steel. Psychic: Alaric has psychic powers to the extreme. He can read minds, move objects, bring objects to life, glimpse into the future (only briefly), and even attack and defend himself with his psychic energy. However he cannot use his psychic abilities in his "demon" state. The longer she uses it also the more exhausted she becomes.
