Roleplay Adventures RP Rules and Regulations 1. The GM’s word is LAW. 2. NO GODMODDING. 3. If you have a problem with a member in your roleplay, try to resolve the conflict with that member first through PM. If you can still not come to a resolution, take the matter to your GM. If you are still having a problem, feel free to contact the staff about the issue. 4. Do not use weird colors when posting! Easy colors like light-yellow are fine to highlight a few things, but try to use the standard color as much as possible. Weird colors are hard to read, and you don't want to be responsible for someone having to have an eye operation. 5. Elitist behavior is not permitted. This includes insulting your players, cursing and using degrading remarks. Don't treat other people like you are better then them. 6. Use Proper English. To the best of your ability, use clear English; strive for correct spelling and good grammar. This is, perhaps, the second most important point. You will find that people will tend to respond to your writing much more positively when you do. Resist the temptation to post using "fanboy Japanese" (mixing words such as "baka" and "kawaii" in with your English text) as well as leet speak (l337 5p34k). It's not going to impress anyone. 7. Have Thick Skin. Don't be offended if someone disagrees with you. If you feel there really is a problem, PM your GM. 8. You Don't Know Everything. It is definitely far from safe to assume (and even less safe to sound like you believe) that you know more about a subject than the rest of the forum; we have some very knowledgeable people here, and superiority isn't a tone that folks are prone to appreciate. 9. When posting, try to make your post substantial enough for your fellow RPers to get a good understanding of what your character is doing and feeling. Please refrain from making one to two sentence posts. The GM has every right to have minimum and maximum requirement on post length that they will include with their RP rules. 10. The RPs are divided into 2 sections.
12. The Battle Arena, Clans & Guilds Section, and the Mature RP Forum have additional rules for those section, so in addition to these rules, follow those as well. Battle Arena Rules Clans & Guilds Rules Mature RP Rules 13. It takes a lot of hard work and dedication to GM a game, so if you are thinking of creating a game, please read over these guidelines first. |
