However, I didn't always understand exactly what they were singing. One memorable time was when I was singing along with Meat Loaf's 'Where the Rubber meets the Road', and I just couldn't figure out what that one word was (I was six and pretty well versed in English to understand most of it). So I walked up to my father and went: 'Dad, what does ..s..ex.. mean?' Actually, I only fully understood the whole song when I was eighteen. Heh. Oh, and I thought that when Meat Loaf sang 'one with a twist and a bit of a spin' that he meant a spider's bite, because a spider is 'spin' in Dutch. Not really misunderstandings, but funny..?
