Earth, the last jewel left in this part of the galaxy. A wonderful planet with lush forest, rivers and such. The United Galactic Senate has prohibited all contact whatsoever to preserve Earth. However, rebel races outside the influence of the Senate don't believe so. Earth is indeed beautiful, has lush forests and fresh water, but... it is also a planet with huge amounts of resources, the indigenous species, humans, aren't even scratching the potential resources, they're just scratching on the surface barely. After arming up and such the rebel races band together and attack, taking out most nuclear arsenal and armies the humans had. Within hours, Earth is in flames. The other races can't act because of the document that prohibits contact with Earth. All now is left on the left over pockets of resistance all over Earth ... Might be a long wait but hopfully people will take interest. Anyway, heres my character. Name: Jack Reid Gender: Male Age: 32 Description:  Background: Serving in the United States Army for Ten years, Sgt. Reid spent most of his service in the Iraq War. taken part in the various engagments against rebels. After he was recalled on july 10, 2009, he retired and returned to his home state of Florida. he enjoyed the rest until 2010. when the alien attack took place, it was sudden and soon all retired soldiers were recalled back into service to help fight against the alien threat. Name: Ryan Gender:Male Age:32 Description:appearance Background: Ryan's family lived and worked on a farm they raised animals and grew corn, beans, tomatoes, and lettuce. When they weren't working with the animals or tending the garden they were playing cards and dominoes. Ryan's family loved to hunt they hunted just about everything from hogs to deer and rabbits. Ryan was shooting a BB gun before he could say "I got'em dad" When he turned 22 he moved out and bought his own land and started his own family. |

There is a half moon scar over her right eye. Instead of the wooden sandles, Jess wears black leather steel toed boots that come to just below the knee. Name: Gordon woodsman Gender: male Age: 45 Description:  Background: gordon was born, bred and raised a soldier. he's dad was a marine, and this inspired him to join the army. after his train was competed he resined from the army and started a small diamond mining business, after the diamond mine collapsed he returned to the army to serve as a marine. he was ready for anything... at least that was what be believed before the attack. |

Wondering dude when you say taking care of the last few pockets of resistance... Do you mean 'taking over..' before they start mining or 'taking over' before they start moving in... Or do they start mining while killing the remaining elements? And the UGS... is that like multiple races or planets deciding to screw us over for our goods? PS. I'd love to join this dude if your not full. |

The rebel races, try to remove the remaining elements while mining. The UGS are basically an conglomerate of alien races working together. AS for getting the goods... maybe. No, it's not full.... four more slots left... |

hmm okay dude. I'm sure how we all meet up and I'm not sure where we are so my background may have gaps. Just out of curiosity what do the mines look like. Ie the operations is it like human mines? Do they have defenses against guerrilla warfare? what are the resources?(Annoying aren't I? :tup: :tup: ) Name: Black Jack Sibyia Gender: Male Age: 22 Description:  Background: Black Jack as he is known is not a member of the resistance but he lives parallel to them in South Africa and other South African nations where resources are high. He owns a large gang of men, women, even children(This is Africa after all, LOL!) who use guerrilla tactics and their surroundings to hide and avoid any and all scanners that the aliens use to track them. Almost none of his team have ever had military training including him. In essence their a group of thieves, scavengers and skilled pillagers looking for food, weapons and more people to join their cause. They steal from everyone and, if the situation is desperate enough they will steal from humans as well. Black Jack grew up in Botswana which was one of the last places to be leveled. He grew up poor and learned how to fight and survive through his youth in the harsh streets and desserts where there were no streets. He doesn't fight fair and doesn't believe in symbols, which, funny enough, he always is. Even in his young. He's been a gang leader since he was 15 and through dedication and an overwhelming personality he has made himself a leader. On another note of his light skin. His light skin is inherent of his Khoisan genes dating back 400 years when the missionaries came and the great genocide began forcing the Khoisan across the Savannah and Kalahari dessert and spread to places like Botswana. Its something other locals notice around him and something he takes to heart. |

Name: Lily Mitchell Gender: Female Age: 27 Description: She has a few scars from the attack but does her best to ignore them and cover them up. Spoiler: click to toggle Background: Lily was an elementary school teacher and loved her job. She had been in the middle of teaching a class when the attack hit. She had rushed all the kids into the middle of the room and made them all hide under their desks. All through the attack she did her best to protect the children, though sadly not all of them made it. After learning that some of the children no longer had any families to go back to she created an orphanage and school for those who had no where else to go. She does what she can to protect the children but sometimes she wishes that there was someone to protect her as well. |

Still an awesome pic dudette. Hey I was looking at a map of new york and its bigger than I thought. there are places like Manhattan, queens(king of queens suddenly makes so much more sense!!) Brooklyn and Staten island. Where would say we are? |
