Have you kids heard the new single by The Killers, called Human? Want to? http://music.islandrecords.com/www2/av_player/AVPlayer.php?av_asset_id=12722&pid=2687&cms_site_id=77&av_type_id=1 First of all, let me say that I love The Killers. Love them. Sam's Town is on my list of best albums of all time. I think Brandon Flowers is a musical genious. That said, this song is totally different from their other songs in the past. The first time I heard it I came in at the middle of the song and I was like, "Wait, I know that voice, who is this?" And then I realized it was Mr. Flowers and was completely blown away. For one, it's waaaaaaay more poppy than their other stuff. But listening to it when driving in the car and singing along is such a blast. Also, I think the words are beautiful, typical The Killers. On the down side, while I'm currently in love with this song, I worry that their new album will be too much pop and not as much rock as Hot Fuss and Sam's Town were. And yes, I'm aware that they weren't total rock and they've always leaned to the pop side, but this song is, well, total pop. Mmm... that's all I've got for now, except that I'm in the "just fell in love and am infactuated" stage with Human. I scan the radio to try to find it as soon as I'm in the car and between every song. It's fun and upbeat and make me want to dance. And for now, that's enough for me. I can't wait to see what the rest of the album has in store. |

I like it, hope they decide to make the rest of the album more "rock". I love The Killers too. |
