Or creepy? Because that one is pretty creepy. Of course, then when you think about it, most band names ARE interesting, on one scale or another.

There was a Powerviolence Hardcore punk band named Man Is The Bastard. There's also a deathcore/death metal band named Job For a Cowboy...and a deathgrind band named "Fuck...I'm Dead". LOL. The story is that the lead singer and bass player were having a discussion on bands that are corporate sell outs, and then the convo turned to discussing their new band name. As a joke, the bass player said, "How about something corporate?" And so they made it Something Corporate. Actually a really good band. Anyway, right now I'm listening to my playlist and the Cold War Kids are on. And I'm like "What a brilliant name!"

I love that song of theirs in your playlist. <3 Anyway, my nominations for interesting band names [based solely on reactions other people have made to me listening to groups with these names] - Franz Ferdinand - Freezepop - Garbage - Rip Slyme - The Good, The Bad, and The Queen - The Postal Service - They Might Be Giants edit - Gackt gets special mention even though he's a single artist just for having a stage name that sounds like that sound cats make when spitting up hairballs.
