Their names were as follows; Elizabeth Swan, Alice Crow, and Emily Crane. Cloaked in yellow, red, and green they looked at each other, as if waiting for something. When finally the part of the woods they where in silenced Emily speaks. “Danger follows us still, my friends. I fear the gods have abandoned us once more.” She says before taking a seat on a fallen log, keeping her red cloak from hitting the ground. “Why do you say that?” Alice, in green says as she takes a seat after starting a fire. “Yes why?” Elizabeth, in yellow says after taking a seat near the fire. “They have gone back on their word, or haven’t you notice the mark has come back?” Emily says, moving closer to the fire. “The mark…back?” The other two say before looking at each others’ shoulder. Indeed an icy blue tattoo was each of their left shoulders. “Damn them!” Alice says angry and Elisabeth screams in anger. “As I told you before, Our curse is our own to solve, the gods only used us. It is coming back slower on you two then it has for me.” Emily says with a hiss. “What does this mean though? Why now after all these years?” Elizabeth says angrily. “I know not why it has come back now, but it means one thing for us. The Blade wants us back in his service. I believe for now we shall split up. I will go farther into the snow, Alice go towards the sea and Elizabeth you will head to the windy mountains. We should be harder to track down if we are not together. I have reason to believe he will come for me first. Now we split until it is safe.” Emily says with a bow to the other two and they vanish. The gods have gone back on their promise to protect three Hendi, witches. The gods have not completely abandoned these witches. They have found three men to protect them and help them defeat the being known as The Blade. First task for these men, they have to track down the women they are assigned to protect and then make them meet up with the others. Then they will figure out what to do next.
