But that changed a few years back. Now there's guys at the school, but Dusk Academy is known for female on female relationships. This isn't common, but this isn't rare. Sometimes there's even a few male on male relationships. But anyways, back to the school. Dusk Academy is a high ranked, prestigious Academy that accepts any race, but only accepts those with special talents. Everyone who gets accepted here has to have a special talent that's unique to their overall person. This is the way it's always been. It's the way it always will be. For years the school was separated by class. The upper class consisted of the rich kids who could afford all the school fees and still have money to spend. The middle class consisted of the kids who could afford most of the school fees. The lower class consisted of those who could hardly afford the school fees, but worked them off by playing on teams and winning championships and earning scholarships. Every year, the school accepts new students, sending out acceptance letters to those that applied to get into the school. Some get rejected while others get accepted. Each student has to come with a note addressed to the head mistress when they arrive at the school. This Academy expects all of the student body to do the absolute best they can. If they don't, the get expelled. The student council of the school is made up of the prettiest girls in school as well as the brightest girls in school. The student grade reps are members of the student body elected to represent that grade to the best of their ability. Students attending Dusk Academy will be living in the dorms on campus. There is the east wing for the boys, and the west wing for the girls. What floor your on depends on your grade. Everything will be explained to you in the acceptance letter. Name: Alexis Hayley Williams Nicknames: "Lexxi" "Alex" "HayHay" "Willi" "Leya(Lay-ya)" Age: 16 Gender: Female Grade: 10 New or Returning Student: Returning Floor Number: 4 Bio: Spoiler: click to toggle Alexis was born into a middle class family in France, but even so, she barely had any money to spend. Her family consisted of herself, her mother and father, her two brothers and three sisters. She always got hand me downs from her two elder sisters, and always stole her elder brother's shirts because they were comfortable. She was always shunned for never having the right clothes, or the right shoes when she was a little girl. From about age 5, she always helped with laundry and helped the various people around her village out to earn extra money, but that money always went towards the house. She went to a public school for grades 1-4, but had to drop out because there wasn't enough money for her schooling. It was during this time that she met a rich girl who quickly became her best friend. She also started training in various styles of martial arts at this time, which her best friend's family at the time paid for the lessons. She mastered the styles quickly, with both a sword and her fists. She was also being home schooled thanks to her friend's family. When Dusk Academy heard of her skills in various things, they sent her the acceptance letter when she had reached the time when she would be going into grade 6. All this time she had gotten a job in France, and had been earning enough money to spend on herself as well as schooling. Other: Alexis could be considered an expert in various martial arts styles with both her fists and swords. She also has various Tattoo's, and is in a gang. She is also confused about her sexuality, , but is confused whether or not she leans more to the lesbian side, or more to the bisexual side, or if she's heterosexual. Eyes: Piercing Gold. When he finished the fifth grade the school realized his potential and was invited to join the school. His parents were ecstatic. They signed him up immediately. When he started school the following year he was excelling at everything. He actually was becoming quite bored of school in general. He started in orchestra and became first chair in a little under two years. He also wanted to learn how to use a weapon. He went out and bought a sickle, just because it looked cool. He trained himself and had become fairly good at it. He wanted to become better though. So he left the school for a year to travel afar and searched for masters of the weapon. His Parents didn't object too much because of how well he does he could make up anything in no time.The following year he returned to the school and continued his education there as normal. Other: Has trained himself fighting with a sickle. He has been training for 5 years. He also spent a year training away from home. Hence him being only in the 11th grade. She had moved in 8th grade, and her parents wanted her to be in the biggest and best school around. She was a very shy girl in her old school, but she's gotten more social. The only sport she's ever been in was cheerleading, but she couldn't make any of the games because she was in a play at the time. Oh, and she loves acting, she's been in many community plays and musicals. Other: Manga addict, is always carrying a book around, most of the time it's manga, but sometimes she'll carry around a book book. She also has really good friends at her old school that she e-mails often on her laptop. Eyes: Dark blue, 20/20 vision Hair: Light brown hair with natural blonde and redish streaks. Her hair goes down to her shoulder blades and are almost always in pigtails. Clothes: Lots of T-shirt with sarcastic sayings, plaid skirts, black tanktops, a couple vests, and a tight black sweatshirt with silver stars all over it. Spoiler: click to toggle Alexa's a girl of mainly European descent, and she grew up in an upper middle class family on the outskirts of New York City. To outsiders, her life was great. Her dad was Vice President of a Casino/Hotel Chain, her mother was a well paid designer with her own business, and hell, her little sister was a model. Alexa never had any close friends, so there was no one who really knew that her life was horrible. Everyday, she'd come home to an empty three story apartment. She would make herself dinner after school, then lock herself in her room for homework, reading, and everything else she needed to do. When her father got home, she was to not make eye contact with him, and was forced to address him as Sir, never Dad. Her mom was a young woman who looked like she was in her early twenties, and she was to be called Hannah, never Mom. Hannah grew up poor, and she lived with her father. Sir, who's real name was John, had a wealthy uncle who died when he was only in his forties, so John's family inherited the mansion and all of his money. When they were young, they fell in love, much to the dislike of John's parents. The two planned to runaway together to marry, but it turned out that Hannah was pregnant. So instead, John confessed to his parents what had happened, and they got married because of the unborn child who was Alexa. Twelve years and two children later, Hannah and John started to become weary of each other. John was a successful businessman, and Hannah was a successful writer, yet they both were incapable of raising two children alone. They were both too busy. So they stayed together for the convenience, each usually bringing home a playmate every other weekend, much to the indifference of the other. That wasn't to say that the children didn't mind. Alexa knew her parents didn't love each other. Alexa knew her parents didn't love her. She was a mistake they both made when they were about her age, but they weren't cruel enough to send her away. When she was five, they had another girl, but this time they wanted to. She was perfect. Beautiful brown locks, pale skin and rosy cheeks, two dimples and a musical laugh. They loved her. They named her Annabelle Marie. She grew up beautiful, and got everything she wanted. Gymastics lessons, clothes and makeup, boys and best friends, acting and singing classes and so much more. Alexa always envied her younger sister, and she never got what she wanted unless she found a way to pay for herself. Alexa spent the majority of her life in her sister's shadow. She did all she could - got excellent grades, took every class she could, worked five hours a day, six days a week, did clubs and extra activities, and became a master of every instrument she could name. But it wasn't enough for them. She was beginning to think there was no reason for anything until she got an acceptance letter from a strange Academy who'd heard of all her excellent feats. Other: Alexa is a very smart goal oriented girl. This is both a strength and weaknesses. She can often be seen carrying something around, whether it be a thick novel, a journal and pencil, or a sketch book. If there's something on her mind, she won't change it, and she's often stubborn and inflexible. She looks nothing like a study worm at all, but she is. Alexa could probably answer any school related question you threw at her, and give you at least a ten page speech. Get her going on something she strongly believes in or disagrees with and you're going to be there a while. She's a very, very prodigious girl when it comes to music, and can play just about every instrument. She can hear a song, and then dissect it into what instruments play, what notes they play, and how to write everything out as a sheet of music. If only her voice were half as good as her musical talent. The reason she got accepted at Dusk Academy was for her flawless GPA and musical skill. Eyes: Alexa was born with icy blue eyes that often times looked silver in a certain light, but she has astigmatism and had to wear glasses until she was fourteen. By that time, she'd had enough money to buy her own contact lenses and bought many in strange colors. She's most often seen wearing purple contact lenses. Hair: She has naturally light hair that's a sandy blond/brown color, and sort of dull looking. Alexa is quite a fan of dying her hair strange colors, and at the moment it is red with purple streaks. (As shown in picture.) Her whorl is on the right side of her head, though you can't tell because her bangs hang in front of her face and the rest of her hair is usually straight. She likes putting it up to get it out of her way, but it reaches just below midback but stops before reaching her waist. Clothes: Alexa is used to buying her own clothes with her self earned money, so it's usually cute, simple, and cheap. If she had it her way, her wardrobe would be filled with every colour there was, with every single style, but it turns out that that's not the case. She usually wears whatever makes her comfortable, although a lot of the time it's based on her mood when she puts them on.
