{Your guy is supposed to be passive I'm wondering how to start this off...} {I hope that didn't suck. I know the speech did!} 23 years of conditioning, 23 years of fighting, killing, learning, growing had led him to along this path. Few of his tribe had ever seen an omen so vivid and clear as his. There was no doubt in Opac's mind that this was his target or at least on his way to his target. He'd know what his target was when he saw it. A green forest filled Opac's view as he walked along the dirt path. The forest wasn't the type he was used to in the dark continent. The forests there weren't nearly as thick as these nor did they span nearly as wide. Harsh savannas made a large portion of the lands but after 23 years of warrior training. The different grounds he had walked started to become a blur to him. It took an hour for him to reach the first forest tree another another to find himself deep inside the forest. Opac identified dozens of tree species but there was one thing each tree had in common. Thick foliose and Tube lichen lined the trunks and roots of each tree and low hanging branch. Squirrels, weasels and raccoons scurried of indifferent directions around Opac as if seeing human life for the first time. Opac wasn't fond of the layout, it dirtied his thick gold plating and filled the air with a mossy texture. Before Opac could think further on it, his gauntlets started to glow in a dim blue. Opac couldn't see anyone and yet his gauntlets made it clear that someone was there. Speeding up Opac followed the source of the glow until he stopped. He was now face to face with a monster. A horned demon unlike any he had seen before. Opac flexed his muscles and took a fighting stance. This was what the Omen was talking about. He was sure of it. "Demon! I know not what sort of fowl creature you are. I only know that I must face you. In order to have my destiny reveled. I do not expect you to understand as my customs are my own. I only ask for your name and that you prepare yourself for a battle we are predestined to have" |

(dont worry) Midday was always a great time of day for the Mountain Elves. Between Rituals and Meals, The Mountain Elves try their best to be as peaceful and earth friendly as possible. Sakebu has done Midday Rituals for years since he had his coming of age. He had trained everyday for his job in the military, luckily he wasn't leaving for another mission for another moon cycle. Although it did always please him to relax his stone hard muscles and meditate. Sakebu stopped his midday rituals to see that already he had encountered a human in the forest. Not many humans dared to wander to the forest of the Mountain Elves. Sakebu lowered his eyes down to the man. He took a deep breath as he listened not to the mans words, but his meaning since he did not understand the dialect of humans. He had studied it and yet it was foreign. Sakebu slowly in took the vibrations, he then released his breath, "Mortal, I am but a humble Elf. Not meaning of any harm. Please, I ask you to leave this forest, I ask you to never come back, and lastly I ask you not to interfere with anything on your way out." He raised his hand, although not answering the man's question, he tried as much as he could to make sure his point went across, his brow burrowed deep down into a glare, his mouth twisted into a scowl and his nostrils flaring. He licked his enlarged tooth as he wiggled his six toes and gripped his staff. He loved his staff, since it was unbreakable and it had been made for him at his coming of age ceremony. Sakebu took the pause to analyze the human, wearing the steel of humans the man looked as if he had come to infiltrate the mountains, a thought that slightly enraged him. The human was a little smaller than Sakebu, and yet he looked completely different. He chose to cover his chest and had no horns. Sakebu exhaled as the cold, moist air revealed his warm breath, he then lowered his hand, indicating that the next choice, was up to the man. |

Opac could feel his gauntlets drinking the beasts magical energy. He ignored the beasts words. It was clear that the beast didn't understand and it wasn't Opac's duty to make him understand. "Arm your self!" Opac yelled crack his knuckles. "I have given you ample time. And I'm not there's only so much talking I'm willing to do." Out of his gauntlet a blue spike formed. It was Opac's pike still in infant form. It would still take time for it to fully form and he needed to get closer for the growth to speed up. Taking a wrestling stance, Opac charged at the demon with his arms spread out slightly. |

Sakebu was at first startled then regained his mentality and glanced to his left, a sturdy oak, and to his right, a nice sized elm. Sakebu sighed, he did not want to resort to violence, especially when there was a magical presence among them. Sakebu quickly bolted to his right and ran up the tree, halberd in hand, as he reached 7' he dove to the other tree with feline grace and then jumped behind the man. Sakebu stared at the form of the man's style. It was unusual to Elves that one may grapple and go into submission with another when fighting. Sakebu knew what he had to do, he got into a fighting stance, the double-edged axe on his staff pointing towards the man, the man had not heeded his warning, it was time for him to learn from his faults. He adjusted his axe position so that he could make a horizontal slash, he spread his legs shoulder-width. He used his Earth Manipulation to hold his stance at his feet and huffed a large shot of breath from his nostrils. "Prepare yourself." |

Opac paused and held his breath when he saw the creature move over him. He hadn't turned when the creature landed behind him. Opac was both bewildered at the speed and skill of the whole move. It was completely un-suggestive of a creature that big. Slowly Opac turned hoping the creature would underestimate him but was cheated out of an impressive counter attack opportunity. Opac grinned and cocked his head to the side. "I'm always prepared!" Opac yelled digging his Armour plated boot into the leafy earth and kicking of to give him an extra boost of speed. Opac ran directly at him in an obvious and deliberate low charge at the creatures lower waist, leaving his own back exposed for any potential slash. |

Sakebu hesitated as the burly man charged at him. He glanced down at the ground, examining the familiar setting. He looked at the hiding animals, the man, the ground, the trees, and even the leaves on the trees. Sakebu then took the hit, thinking it through, his rock implanted feet allowed him to stand tall as he then stated shoving back, he kept his staff in hand as the magical essence took shape and started t become a weapon, he then shoved back with his own muscled shoulders. Sakebu was not used to this type of fighting, he always fought with honor, 'horn to Horn, put it to him!' his captain would demand as they sparred in the army. It was odd to actually fight a human since he has only seen a few in his life. But with the few encounters of humans he barely knew anything about them. At that moment a hot burning sensation filled Sakebu's mind. He looked down at his shoulder, which was buried deep in lock with the metal armored shoulder of the man. The metal, heated by sweat, had dug itself into Sakebu's skin since it was harder than the rock he was born from. Sakebu gave out as he stumbled back, cracking the earth around his feet. Once on the floor, he quickly flung the man off his bare chest, backwards and flying into the forest. Within the time of lightning Sakebu was up and ready to counterattack. He quickly raised earth from the ground as he caught his breath and ground it up into dust, giving him a small cover to heal his wound, as it had dug farther than he had guessed. He rubbed his palm against the bruised skin, it wasn't much but it could help to rub off the skin and let new skin regrow. |

Opac was surprised that the beast had taken the hit directly but wasn't willing to become complacent. He pushed on until he got a more impressive result. That was his way of fighting. You push on, other wise you die. Dying was all to easy in a war. That reason was why Opac loved getting as physical as possible with any and all of his opponents. But things took a surprising tern when Opac found himself air born and spinning. Spinning out of control Opac hit a rather young pine tree. The trunk snapped under Opac's wight and dropped him. Opac stood up as soon as humanly possible before relaxing. "phew!" Opac exclaimed acting his breath. "That was impressive!" Opac said, stalling for time. He hadn't put up his bubble shield because of his shock. the only thing that had prevent him from breaking was his thick layered plating. "Wow. I can only assume you must be one strong demon. I am Opac and the Grim Jaw Clan. I feel it is my honor to give you may name." Opac took one deep breath and bounced on his heels unwilling to go through that again. Opac charged again but aiming high this time only to stop short of his target as he swing out and with his gauntlet, which held the spike that was now twice as long as it had been before. Opac swung upwards at the creature's chin before following through sending his arm up so he could do close range shoulder charge. |

Sakebu grimaced as the human got up. He had hoped he would stay down. Sakebu closed his eyes as he listened to the trees. the wind blew and the bodies of the forest moved. He could sense the pike getting closer. Sakebu took a huge deep breath and took the hit from the pike under his chin. Only it did not pierce his skin. His skin glimmered a red-brown flash as he grit his teeth into a toothy smile. He would not give up. He jolted forward as he knocked off the spike and flung out his hand to stop the next charge attack. His griped tightened as his muscled flexed and he lifted the human off the ground, he then growled under his breathe, his rage extending to the point where the trees shivered and the rocks rumbled, "I do not wish harm upon you human, but if you come into my forest without peace, I feel forced to do what I must." he said as he threw the man upward into the air his shoulder still aching on his other arm and leapt upward tot ackle the man in mid-air. He again readjusted his grip on his axe as he pummeled his shoulder into the man's stomach. He felt the burn of the metal again, he felt the familiar feeling of blood thirst which he tried his best to ignore. He felt his body pulse with the stone skin enchantments, he felt the fear of the forest around him. Sakebu grit his teeth to the point where any harder he would brake them. He felt his temples shake as his horns rumbled at the speed of the impact. |

Opac felt his stomach drop when he realized that his strike didn't produce blood, but there was no time to dwell. It had been a feint anyway. The real hit was in the close range shoulder charge. HE plan faded to dust when he was stopped by the creature's one hand. Opac grinned threw gritted teeth when e realized just how screwed he was. Opac tried to change his stance but it was too late, he was air born again, this time held up by the beast. The beast yelled and Opac nearly gagged from the inhuman smell of bad breath. Opac felt the creatures grip loosen by a fraction before he was flung into the air. Opac gagged and his eyes rolled around in his head when the creature hit him in the stomach. Fortunately Opac he just gotten some of his bubble up in time. It lit up and broke just under his chain main saving his bones but not the plating in his armor. Opac felt the Armour bend like a leaf into his chest. Opac's chain mail saved him from any cuts and the sound of his chain mail woke him upas he was about to fly away yet again. Opac swung out and caught the creatures horns. He pulled hard before striking out into the creature head with an armored knee but Opac wasn't doe. He didn't let go. He pulled again and stuck with his other knee before pulling and letting go to drop two armored elbows into the back of the creatures head. Opac stepped back fast and dropped to one knee and gagged spitting out phlegm and any vomit that may have accumulated from using up so much of his own energy so soon. |

Sakebu was in slight shock as his beating began, his horns felt like they were going to rip out. Is this the strength of a human?! NO! I am Sakebu Mohenja of the Mountain Elves. I shall not lose. Even if I must bring us both down to the depths of hell itself! Sakebu was on the ground, caught off guard by the odd abilities of the human. He slowly picked himself up, pretended nothing was wrong although his head was throbbing. He gripped his axe and dove forward. With all his strength his came down with his axe in front of the human, letting loose a quake of enormous proportion. The quake split the ground. His whole body ached from the exertion of strength. His pants rippled and his feet slid back a few feet as the ground dented deep, forming a crater with rocks flying everywhere. His teeth glinted as he let his feral nature take over, he threw his weapon to the side as the explosion subsided, concentrated all his energy on stocking up his body with barriers of earth, then dropped to all fours as he launched himself threw the air at the human, saliva flinging from his mouth, his teeth reflecting the meat of his prey and his eyes revealing a cold dark part of his kind soul. |

"Shit" Opac whispered to himself as the axe came down on him. He realized his gauntlets but the creature's axe fell short. Relief subsided fast as he was flung around by a the earth quake that had been created. He bounced around unable to use his bubble on such a complicated attack. By the time it stopped half of Opac armor plating lied the floor. "NO! That was pure gold and silver!" Opac cried looking at his armor only his leg, arm and shoulder armor remained now. Opac tried to stand but he still had to regain his breath. Looking at the creature for the first since the Quake Opac saw a real creature facing him. Unfortunately for Opac it was already air born and too close for Opac's pike. Opac did the only thing he could do he blocked with his gauntlets and prayed to his god. Opac was hit with what could have been a boulder. knocking him into the ground. By pure coincidence he landed on the cracked earth from the quake fitting in inside it. Opac spread himself out so he didn't go to deep but deep enough into the crack to avoid the creature's jaws. It wasn't skill but Opac took any opportunity that came to him. There he regained as much breath as could. |

Taken over by an unknown force, Sakebu started snapping at the man, attempting to rip his flesh to nothing with his jaws. He tongue flailed in his mouth as his jaw clamped shut then flung itself open repetitively. Sakebu then leaped high into the air above the man in the crack, "IF YOU WANT TO GO DOWN, I'LL BRING YOU DOWN!" he said as he aimed his earth armored fist down towards the man. He then let nature do the rest as he hit the man's defending being full force, sending a shock wave that ruptured th forest around them. The trees seemed to bed back as he bared his teeth and started slamming the man's body with fists a blaze. He never gave in to fatigue, Sakebu was trained to deal with this strain on his body, even sitting still with a bow and arrow for hours in a tree can be tiring. Sakebu kept on pounding at the man until the earthy armor around his body shook and started to fall off. He kept on punching, not giving in. With each punch he could feel the small crack beneath them getting wedged bigger. Sakebu knew it wouldn't end good for either of them, but he would rid the world of this foul human. He would rid the world of another worthless mortal who thinks they own whatever they set foot on. The animals had fled the area, it seemed as thought the only sound was the echoing thud of his fists against the man, no matter what he would win. He would give his life and his soul to make sure this man was done for. (gotta go, ill post tomorrow morning) |

Cool It freaken 2:30 over here! I was going to say the same thing! -- Opac screamed as each fist pounded against his gauntlets. He took every punch to his arms and he could feel the energy being sapped out of his fingers as the grew numb from each hit. His chain mail jingled with each hit until the impacts became almost musical in Opac's head. 23 years, Opac thought as his consciousness started to fade. His head was starting to bleed now. 23 years of fighting killing, growing, learning. 23 years that's weren't going to go to waste on this 'animal' Opac shut his eye and dug his gauntlets into what was left of the side of the cracked earth. His move worked by using the earth his the ground absorbed the shock and gave Opac air. It took a minute before the impacts disappeared completely. "Thank you for those kind words. Time for your leash!" Opac yelled. A blue bubble expanded and pushed the creature back. The attack had nearly killed him but saving his gauntlets had worked in the end. The bubble engulfed the wolf and his armor. Opac stood and waved before the bubble exploded. The sound was deafening and the shock wave that hit struck the creature armor hard without remorse. Opac didn't turn to see the results, he couldn't, instead he ran up to the nearest tree and rammed his left shoulder into it. There was a pop and instant relief but Opac wasn't done. Quickly he jumped and held on to a thick low branch. Squeezing it hard with his right arm he spun himself and there was a double pop, this time from his wrist and elbow. Opac stood tall again, there was a blue glow surrounding his body now. Through his physical fatigue he managed to leave him mind in charge. 23 years had taught him that. This creature had never climbed the mountains of man hood. He'd most likely never left the land he sat on. "Come on!" Opac yelled waving his full length Pike, ranging six feet. "Face me now!" Opac wiped a trickle a blood from his eyes. "Lets see if those words you so eloquently used when I was stuck still have any value!" |

Sakebu glared at the man at his last remark, he suffered certain wounds from that last attack with an odd bubble but he was not injured badly. His mouth dripped blood and his body was bruised up, he even had a cut across his chest from the earth that had been wrapped around him then exploded. Sakebu shrugged of te wounds as he shook his head, regained control of himself, slowly walked over, careful that each step wasn't his last, and picked up his staff. He quickly whipped around, his body already in a proper position with his feet again shoulder width apart, the axe held out in front of him as if to bring it down for a slash. Sakebu shook his head left to right as to cool himself since he did not sweat. Sakebu hardened his grip on the enchanted staff. His eyes moved up and down to see any weak points of the man's stance. Quick as a flash, Sakebu was air born yet again, this time right above the man with his axe held head height as he swung downward, attempting to split the man's skull. Sakebu felt the air rush by, he felt his muscles grow hot as he swung the mighty axe, and he didn't stop. Edited by Mitsuhide, 15 Oct 2008, 10:41 AM.

You realize that at this speed we'll be done today? --- The creature cut the wide distance between them in less than a second. Although Opac's eyes were able to catch the motion his reflexes were left behind. The axes blade was on him and Opac only just managed to lift his pike in time. the blade stopped against the pole of the pike but the pike hit against Opac’s helmet hard bending it and increasing the flow of blood coming out of his temple. Opac's magical pike was at its breaking point. Under too much pressure to lift his feet Opac shifted his feet against the loose earth and managed to change his foot chance to the traditional Chinese horse stance, leaving his feet parted wide and slightly bend. Opac could feel his calves burning as the creature pressed on. Opac lifted his chin to try and look into the creature eyes. There were no words any more. Everything that needed to or could be said had been said. Opac felt his legs giving way under the strain when inspiration hit him. Leaning his pike back, he let the creature's axe follow along the pike's smooth surface, pushed on by the cratures own momentum. Opac found himself in a situation he couldn't have dreamed of, no matter how hard he tried. Bending low as the axe went forwards Opac lifted his ruined helmet up into the creatures chin and grabbed onto the creatures torso. Opac locked his fingers together and held fast onto the beast. The bear hug was more than Opac could have hoped for. “Ha. This game is over. I’m going to take your energy and create a gift that will crush your shell and puncture your lungs.” Opac shifted around trying to get a stronger stance. Opac wished he could have landed this move earlier on instead of being forced into attacking first. He was too fatigued to lift the heavy beast and throw him on the ground. Everything would have ended if Opac managed to gain a height advantage on him but right now Opac was vulnerable to losing his balance first. Opac loosened his foot stance by lifting his leg to drop it behind the beast, while pushing forwards, for a low level trip. |

Immediately understanding the position he was in, Sakebu did what he could to resist the trip. He knew he was more muscular than the human, but his energy was going to be gone by the time he got out of the lock. Sakebu knew what he had to do. With all his might Sakebu twisted his leg around until the kneecap broke. It paine him greatly but it was a start. The crack of his knee was not only sickening but odd since he had never broken any bones. With his leg broke he used his thigh to swing the leg out of the way from the trip. Sakebu continued to push back, using one bent leg and wrapping his arms around the man. He then began to squeeze. His arms tightened, his chest flexed as his grip ignored the results of fatigue, he continued to squeeze the life out of this human. He was now in a deadlock, would he crush the human or fall over due to his leg. Although it was a minor injury it could alter the battle. He could barely feel that area of his body so he could not move it unless he used his thigh muscles only. Ah well, a flesh wound is nothing compared to the agony of a soul escaping a body, i would rather live without my leg. Sakebu decided as he cotninued to shove back, bowing lower with each second so he could shove back in one quick jolt. |

Opac heard the pop when he pushed the creature. It was completely unexpected and violent something he couldn't help but wonder if he could do it so simply. Opac lost his balance and the creature seemed to get a grip on him too. At first it didn't mean much until the creature squeezed hard. Some how Opac found himself in an awkward reversal. "You've got-' Opac gagged when the creature continued to squeeze. Opac's bear hug was something of legend in his village and yet he found himself on the opposite end of the same attack. What was worse for Opac was the he could still feel his ribs starting to fracture even though his arms were the ones tucked in. Desperate Opac shook his body worsen the pain but seeking a way out at the same time. Opac tried jumping but it failed the worst part was that there needed to be at least a one centimeter distance between him and the creature for the bubble to work. Other wise the creature would be safe inside the bubble. Opac was stuck, unwilling to give up Opac dropped to his knees giving his opponent an ever greater height advantage. The move was suicide but he only needed a one centimeter gap to blow free of the beast. Using his now very low center. Opac lifted one of his legs from the awkward position they were in. Opac then kicked at the creature knees with his armored shoe continuously. "Let me go!" Opac manged to rasp out before spitting blood into the face of the creature. |

Sakebu gagged as his broken knee was hit. He felt a sharp pain go up his spine. Then the splash of blood in his face. Sakebu was enraged, he could barely tell what the human said. Sakebu finally made a decision, "If you wish to die, so be it." he stated as he balanced on his broken leg, shooting even more pain up his spine, making him grit his teeth, lifted his good leg so he fell back slightly and flicked his good leg up and smashed the man in the face. It was a simple last resort. In the old days Sakebu was taught to never resort to pure bred brute force. It was not only dishonorable but awkward for people of their stature. A large burly elf up against another of the same was only determined by luck, and not smarts. In his culture, battles were one by the mind. Many wars waged by two elves sitting in front of eachother thinking out a plan, this plan shall decide the fate of either army. |

Opac hadn't expected such a sacrifice on the creatures behalf. But it didn't matter once the creatures foot collided with Opac's face. "No" Opac yelled regaining his control before the foot came again. He turned his head and took the impact on his helmet. Opac jumped awkwardly and kicked at the knee again returning a kick for every head bash. Opac was losing his focus now but his gauntlet was eating its fill of the beasts strength. He could feel his telekinesis started to come in. Using it he pulled his Pike closer until it was under his foot. |

Sakebu took the hit with ease. Though his magical energy was being drained he could still rely on his natural abilities, like his tougher than stone skin. Sakebu then glanced down to see the pike that had been used against him before under the man's foot. He growled, "No! Not this time!" he jumped back up and forward at the man's foot. His knee stung like the fires a volcano but Sakebu didn't give in to the pain. He lashed out with his axe, extended so that even if the blade missed he could trip the mortal with the staff part of his axe. He snarled as his muscles rippled and the axe whipped outward at the man's shins. |

Opac struggled against the man's grip and felt his ribs break. Right up until the creature let go. "Stupid move." Opac grunted in the split second that the creature had jumped back and return swinging his ax. Opac was free and he had gotten that one centimeter he had wanted since his grapple had turned over. His bubble grew in a thin line around him and exploded in the creatures face. The impact was huge the shock wave hit everything spraying the forest with lichen filling up Opac's lungs. Its impact sent the creature back beyond Opac sight. Opac fell to his knee and stared blankly at the ground. A trickle of thick blood oozed out of his throat and made an immovable puddle in front of him. The lichen had actually helped clot up the blood on his temple but Opac wasn't naive. If he survived this attack he'd need to get the wound cleaned or gangrene would set in. Opac used his telekinesis to pull his pike towards him and used it to pull himself up. Blue radiated off him still from the stream of magic he had taken from the creature but now he had less of a body to ignore. Opac took a heavy stance with his pike pointed outwards. |

The forest whizzed past him as Sakbu flew threw the air. It was an experience like no other. He was flying, but it would end soon. But Sakebu didn't need to hit a tree. He thought quickly on how to find the man now that he was out of sight, but he knew what he had to do. Sakebu moved his body in mid-air, a painful jolt from his leg told him it was still broken. Sakebu then shoved his hands down onto the ground, causing a sudden end to his flight. Sakebu fell to the ground, "You foul, creature! WHERE HAVE YOU GONE!" he roared. His roar echoed through the forest, sending the birds fluttering away and shook the trees around him. Sakebu then looked down at his leg. It was off set, his foot was facing a completely different direction so he had to change that. Sakebu walked over to a small log, gripped his knee, and ripped off pieces of bark. He then took a few sturdy chunks of wood and placed them around his leg, making a splint. He then surrounded it with small bands of earth to hold the bone in place. As quickly as he now could, Sakebu sniffed the air with his small elven nose. He finally got a good whiff of the sent. Sakebu brushed off some of the grass and moss that had splattered him from the explosion and walked toward the area of the man. |

Opac took beep breaths to stop himself from phase in and out of consciousness. Running was not an option, not one he'd ever humor, but Opac grinned when he heard the creature yell. "Come and get me!" Opac took another breath and stood up straight. "Catch me if you can" Opac whispered to himself. Opac took off careful to keep his energy but while still keeping his speed. His pike turned behind his wrist and was aimed at his side, patiently waiting for the next attack. Opac used his telekinesis to kick up sand, pine leaves and moss into the air around to leave a path for the creature to follow and coat the air with the annoying powdery lichens that filled the air. |

Sakebu's instincts kicked in. The sound of his prey and the sound of leaves ruffling gave him a general idea of where the man was. Sakebu crouched down in a sprinting position then counted to himself the number of heartbeats per second. In a split second he bolted, running top speed in the direction of the man. He felt the forest run by him again, only this time it wasn't him flying, but running. His arms swung by his side as he blew through moss and leaves that were in the air. His whole body shook as he ran, his broken leg was ready to snap off but that wasn't going to stop him. Sakebu could now see the clear outline of the man, he knew what he had to do, it was simple. End the battle with a deadly strike to a vital area, and seeing as though that human organs were arranged similar to that of the elves, he was going to snap the neck of the man, one way or another. |
