The creature was taking too long for Opac's tastes. He turned around but saw only the moss and dirt he'd been kicking up. Kicking up more Opac continued his run. The forest was getting thicker the further he went but he was sure he'd get across if he kept his speed up. The denser the trees the thicker the amount of moss, Opac noticed. Feeling that he was where the forest was at it's deepest he slowed, waiting for the inevitable rear attack. His Pike was still at the side ready for the reverse swing. The creature would come from behind, they always did. They always underestimated his speed. And that would be a rib tearing mistake. |

Sakebu raced through the forest. He glanced left to right, gazing at trees whizzing by. Some trees hinted off that he had used this path previously before the fight. sakebu quickly searched his memory for this hunting path. He soon found that he had chased a deer around the same area, the deer had taken shelter in a hole created by wolves. Sakebu shook his head, this human wasn't as stupid as a deer. Sakebu glanced to his left slightly to see a figure in the forest. He stomped his two feet at once, sending a shock wave through the ground. He then flugn his arms up, motioning the earth underneath him upward, sending him flying high into the air. It was awkward for a Mountain Elf to fly, being made heavily and of stone, but it was an amazing experience. Sakebu looked down to see the human, he soon started to fall, aiming for the human. Sakebu straightened out his leg, he raised his arms to balance himself then dropped them to speed downwards. The cool breeze whipped at his skin as his thick body dropped at speeds that surpassed any being he had every seen. Sakebu grinned a malevolent grin as his kick came ever closer to it's target. |

[sorry if I GM at the beginning.] Opac had been waiting for this, he turned and swung at the creature fast and hard, hitting it with the full length of the pike, along with his arm, it reached his face but the creature was surprisingly heavy. It was too late by the time he realized that his counter wasn't enough. The result was a double impact. Opac took the impact of the fly kick in the shoulder spinning him like a top. His feet and legs scrapped against the ground drawing five spiral lines in the dirt. The pain on his one shoulder was unimaginable but a relief wondering what would have happened if he'd caught the attack on his spine. Opac stood quickly and regretted it immediately as the pain doubled. He didn't waste time though, instead he took his one good arm and swung his Pike in a viscous arc before trying to slot his shoulder back in against a tree, it pooped but the impact had been deeper than before. His shoulder was stiff now but strong enough to lift and move around. Opac turned facing the creature again "Come on" Opac whispered This next one will end this. |

Sakebu growled as the counterattack met its mark. He looked up at the man, who was already recovered. In this time, Sakebu had managed to think up a small speech. He took a deep breathe, exhaling and adjusting his footing, "Human, you are like none I have seen before. You are strong, and not only that you are determined. It is those like you who my people respect. If I should die against you, I know I will have died with Valor. But even If I do die, I will ask you the same question As I had before our quarrel. Leave this forest, please." He then bent down into a sprinting position, "But enough talking, actions do speak louder than words, as you humans say." he then bolted forward. Hand rearing behind him for the punch that could make or break this fight. The world seemed to slow down, it was not unusual for an experience of this sort. Sakebu's life flashed before his eyes. He remembered his coming of age, and then his first trip through the forest. Sakebu did not slow down, his vision narrowed and his stone flesh rippled with each enormous step forward. |

Opac bounced gingerly on his calves in some attempt at showing off. it didnt' help much. He was in pain and right now his attitude was causing problems his body wasn't willing to fix. "Dying may becaome a very real solution for you. I know that dying is not something I have been trained to understand. Winning is everything for us. To lose is to not exsist. As for leaving your forrest. If I win then I move on in search for the one who will bring me and my poeple to glory." Opac stopped. realizing he'd gone too personal. Just know that I follow my Omen and once this is over I'll leave" He grinned at the beast. " What's that on your fur anyway?" Opac said kicking up with his feet a mound of sand and moss at the creature's face. Opac sucking up and all pain immaginable broke into a fast run at the creature. Opac had no doupt there wouldn't be many more chanrges like this if he didn't take a full breather. Sweat lines Opac's face and pread when he lifted his head raising his Pike in a viscous arc.
