I'm wild in bed. And I don't mean it in that way, you pervies. I twist and turn, tangle myself with the bedsheets. I have a bad case of insomnia so I NEVER go to bed early. And when I do, I'm just there in bed staring at the ceiling. And I sleep in every position possible, sometimes I even sleep with a pillow between my knees. I'm just a wild sleeper. I take all the sheets if I'm sleeping with someone and sometimes I tend to push them off.

I have gotten some odd reports on my sleeping habits. Evidently, people feel the need to shove me awake because they think I died at some point. Overall I am told that I am very quiet, I don't move, and others have had trouble when checking to see if I am breathing or not. I tend to sleep through about 4-5 sleep cycles before I wake up. I tend to doze off another cycle or two before I finally get up with my 8 hours of rest. Also, I tend to sleep on my right side, although sometimes I favor my left. I can't remember the last time I even tried sleeping on my back, but I stayed up almost 2 hours failing at it. It just doesn't feel right for me to rest flat on my back. |

It varies. Most of the time on my right, a good second is on my left, and sometimes I fall asleep on my back. I toss and turn around a lot, and I steal blankets whenever I'm sleeping with someone else in one bed. When they give me a shove to tell them to hand the blankets back, apparently I tell them to shut up (yes, in my sleep) and go back to sleep. ^^ Other than that, I talk, laugh and mumble in my sleep. I have the weirdest dreams you can imagine (no nightmares, thankfully), and I'm sort of sleepwalking - not getting out of bed per say, but doing things when I'm asleep like sitting up, trying to pull things from walls, etcetera. I don't snore, last time I checked, but I can't for the life of me sleep in pyama's (unless it's REALLY cold) or with my socks on. Pyama's strangle me, and when I fall asleep with socks on I get even weirder dreams.

Well, I can usually get comfortable regardless of which way I sleep so that's often not an issue for me. However, I am a really light sleeper. It doesn't take much to wake me up and it doesn't take much to keep me from sleeping, unfortunately. On a rare occasion, if I'm drop-dead sleepy I can sleep even if everyone's making a racket, but that's usually because I fell asleep whether or not it was necessarily the best time. (it happened to me once during a youth group meeting at church >_<) I don't sleepwalk... much. Once in a blue moon, I have reportedly gotten up in my sleep and done various things like get something to drink, move to a different location or stand up in my bed and make some sort of dramatic pose and exclaim something or other (if the dream I'm having is something that calls for it XD) before settling back down. Other then that, I don't talk in my sleep and I don't snore either. I'm not that bad about sharing a bed, I don't steal covers and I don't kick people when I sleep, coz' I usually don't move around a whole lot in my sleep. |

I've dealt with your kind before. The best way I've yet devised to deal with that is to have a pillow around my legs for protection, and an extra blanket at the ready.

I sleep with shit and rubbish all over the bed around me, which is a bitch because I have a habit of pushing important things like my cigarettes or my wallet down between the bed and the wall where I can't find them in the morning. This morning I woke up and found that I was using one of my work boots as a pillow.

Oh goodness. I saw this thread and was like, "Geez, better go lock it." lol Anyway, I get cold super easily, and I can't sleep without something on top of me. So I have a sheet and comforter over me, no matter how hot is is. And when I say over me, I mean like all the way up to my neck. I have two pillows, one cotton and one down, because that makes the perfect height for my head to rest on. Though I confess, I hardly use them. I'm almost always on my side and curled around my husband, my head on his shoulder. He's the most comfy body-pillow ever, I swear.

I don't generally. But when I do, it' s only for like two hours, face down, Buried under a blanket in the fetal posistion. And you couldn't wake me up if the house was on fire during those two hours.

I normally sleep on my side or my tummy. with my pillow in between my legs. I often twist and turn. If I'm not feeling good or i'm stressed I do all this way more than normal. Oh! I also talk in my sleep and sometimes snore. The snore is more breathing than an actual snore. I have to have the sheets up on my neck or a little over it. I get cold easy. I'm a light sleeper when I'm stressed out or scared. Otherwise I can normally sleep okay. I also have to wear a wrist brace. Mainly because some jerk broke my wrist when i was younger and we never got a cast on it. So the bone grew back wrong. Once I almost fell asleep on my friend Jon. I was in an uncomfortable position with my arms like squished but I like sleeping next to someone else. I toss a lot less. If I'm really tired and I get to sleep sometimes I'll sleep the whole night. Often I wake up after 5AM and then keep waking up until 10AM. Depends on my stress level. I usually leave the window by my bed open ^^ |

What do I do when I'm asleep? Well, I generally sleep on whichever side of the bed is closest to the wall. And, I ALWAYS sleep on my left side. If I try to sleep in any other position, my neck is sore in the morning. How much I move around in my sleep depends on what I'm dreaming about. If I'm dreaming about something pleasant, or I'm not dreaming at all, I generally don't move much. But, if it's any kind of freaky dream that involves quick motions, I start thrashing about. Either way, I have been told that I kick, and I often wake up with my sheets either off, or in a big tangle on me. On the up side, I have been told that I don't snore. That probably comes with the fact that I always sleep on my side. But I do tend to wake up in the middle of the night, sometimes for no apparent reason. And when I do, I have a hard time going back to sleep. |

I toss and turn when I sleep, but I can only fall asleep if I am on one of my sides or my back, though I have woken up on my back. My tossing and turning is sometimes violent though... I once woke up on the opposite side of my bed. >.> Meaning my head was where my feet were... As for snoring... I used to snore hella loud, but not any more. Now I am usualy silent. My friends have told me I snore for a bit, but then quiet down. And also depending on my dream, if my mouth is open when I am sleeping, Sometimes you can hear my dreams.... Like I will speak in different voices without my mouth moving and you can hear the whole conversation..... It's weird.

I will sleep with the space I'm given. I love to roll and rock turn and twist. I start out sleeping on my side but I usually wake up at around 5:15 on my back. I go to bed at around 10 pm and get up at 5:50 and last night I had a nightmare of a zombie attack and a T rex came from the grave and the I jump on a boat sail away then woke up. the dream was in 3rd person |

I can sleep in just about any position, even some that are probably very awkward looking like one arm tucked under my pillow, the other under my body and one leg wrapped around the other. The only suck thing is that I don't move at all in my sleep so if I'm in some funky position when I find myself comfortable enough to drift off, I will be that way when I wake up. It has resulted in me waking up with limbs that feel all tingly weird and a stiff neck. I do easily get all tangled up in things like pajama bottoms and long nightgowns, both of which will keep me awake for hours so usually it's just tshirt and underwear for me. I'm also an extremely light sleeper and have been known to wake up in the middle of the night just because someone flushed a toilet. I'm especially prone to waking up due to sounds my cat makes, where it be purring directly into my ear or coughing up a hairball. |

Lol, sleep is for the weak! No, but seriously. I try hard but I just seem to not do it. I often go to bed at 3-5 AM, and wake up at 6-8. Even when I know I have to go to work at 5:30, I tend to not go to bed (Sometimes even get home) until 4 in the morning. Though when I do sleep, I have weird ass habits. I often sleep on my left side, and when not in my own bed, often curled up in what the 3 people I've actually let see me sleep, My best friend, her sister, and my ex, describe as a "Cat Like Manner". And if not like that, It's often sitting either bolt upright, or still upright, but slumped backwards over the couch/chair I'm on. I apparently have a tendency to talk, and growl angrily in my sleep about current things happening with my life. I remember one time my ex was getting harassed by this douche bag she dated a long time back, and I'd fallen asleep next to her, and she was petting me as a reference to the "Sleeping like a Cat" joke, so I'm told. And I apparently said something about, quote, "Ripping that bastard Matt's throat out"... Unfortunately for him, he called her soon after I said that, I woke up full of vigor, and cussed him out. I also usually can't fall asleep in my own bed unless I'm hugging a pillow. I dunno why, but it pisses me off because it makes me seem like I have an actual working, completely unjaded heart. |
