Setting: Modern day Japan. When i say Modern day...i also mean Present day Japan -_- It is said, no known, that there is a star that burns at day, nay this be not the sun of which i speak, this star can only be seen by those who will loose someone they know, yes this is the black star of the day, the Mourning Star. It is said that it is the star of the Gods of Death, or better known by legend as the Reapers. They say that this star glows only during the day, it is a warning to the one that sees it that they are about to lose someone they know. The blacker the star glows, the closer the person is to them. The bigger the star grows, the closer that person is to death. I believe there is a way to stopping the Mourning Star, and its Reapers from taking the life of the one you know. I believe that if you find out who will loose their life, and make it to them before the Reaper takes them, and show you have a pure intentions in desiring their life, you may be able to soften the Reapers heart enough to allow the person a longer life, but there may be a backlash, if the Reaper sees your intention, or reasons as impure or unfitting, not only will they take that person's life, but they will take your's as well. Its ok if you do an OOC inside of an IC post in the IC thread once i start it, but do make posts that are only OOC in the IC. You post them here, meaning everyone should check this thread anytime there is a new post. 5. OBEY ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 6. Romance yes....cyber no! 7. WHY AREN'T YOU OBEYING ME YET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Ok...i did 3, 5, and 7 for shits and giggles.) Also this post is also a slight explanation as to the actual plot, which I must thank our new member Nephalim for helping me make. Reapers/Death Gods work under the man that has been called "Father Time." Father Time keeps track of the lifespan of everything, and he measures this lifespan through hourglasses. When a persons life is near to run out he dispatches a Reaper to collect that persons soul to be judged. Now Reapers are allowed to extend a persons life, but by only so much, but to do so they have to pull from the reserve pool of the Sands of Time. Now Father Time is not against giving a human an extended life, but he is more....reluctant to do so. Could it be that extending a person's life has possibly greater consequences? yeah, I've got both skeletons up. Feel free to post your characters at any time. But i wont have the IC up for a day or so. I wanna make sure i have a starter plot in my head first. I kinda made this spur of the moment because i was listening to a song i liked and i got the idea from the song title.

Appearance: Terra Bio: Terra had a rough childhood; her mother left at the age of four, her father was an jerk and would beat her and let his friends take wacks at her, and her siblings signed her up to be in a few fights to get money at age thirteen. She ran away at seventeen and hid out at a friend's house until they forgot her. When she was eighteen she moved into an apartment, and one would think that everything would be fine but it wasn't. Her family found her and drug her home for more torture. She ran away from home again at twenty and is in hiding again. This is the rough outline for my main character, I'm still working out the last two categories for him. Username: Mosaic Character Name: Razael Koruway Age: 19 Personality: He's a kind young man, who worries about others before himself. He's a brilliant person as well, but tends to hide it by acting like an idiot from time to time, but that is just his way of loosening up and relaxing. He's one of those people who would rather be hurt himself, before he saw someone else get hurt. He's naturally a passive person, but if it comes to it and someone needs his help especially if its a fight they didn't start, he will gladly jump into the frey. Appearance: Spoiler: click to toggle He has a fairly muscular build, he's not ripped, but he's not scrawney either. Most of his frame he got mainly from playing soccer and football. His build is a plus for when he's working on cars since some jobs on a car do require a good amount of strength. He stands roughly 5' 9" with ice blue eyes. Bio: He was born into a good home, loving parents and kind relatives. He had just about what every kid could dream of. He went through school, graduated 11th in his class. He got a well paying job as an automotive mechanic and lives on his own and is currently looking at possibly attending a college soon. He's been lucky all his life, all his family is still alive, and not once has he had to see the Mourning Star. Likes: Rock music of any kind, cake, guitars. Dislikes: pie, and milk, ironically, cake has milk. Hobbies: Playing guitar, and singing. Of course, thats why I have the profiles up. I still dont know exactly how many I want, but once i have what looks like enough, I'll put a stop to the death god profiles. But that would look to be around 5-6 death gods. Of course there will be more Humans than death gods of course. |

Username: Nona Character Name: Wraith Bio: Wraith was the product of a well, demon and an angel. Unfortunately, he was also the recipient of his parents punishment. Wraith was turned into a Hellhound and given a new position, he would serve as the gateway between hell and earth. He could allow souls he saw as good causes back onto earth from Hell... but it would cost him half of his flesh. Eventually, he found a woman named Rin who stood and fought beside him, helped him overcome his curse, and freed him to his natural form. She went on to become Queen of Hell, and so technically he's king. He prefers however helping out in otehr ways, helping her keep the peace. His friend Din however was worried Wraith might be loosing touch with Earthlings, and asked if he would take over as a death god for a year, give one of the death gods a break who much needed it. He agreed, and now things have been very interesting for him... Personality: Proud, strong, a fighter these days. He is intensely loyal to his family, and determined when it comes to carrying out his goals. However, he is sympathetic towards those in trouble, the picked on, the wounded. But read his bio to find out more on that! He can be a touch sarcastic/sharp at times... but that comes with his position. Appearance:  Spirit Beast form:  Weapon: He does not have a weapon, unless you count his studded gauntlets. He prefers to fight with his fists, and sometimes feet. Binding Arts : Hellfires: Wraith is capable of summoning a purple fire. It affects not the physical boy however but the spiritual. It coems only in a small stream, and in small doses might cause a mere twitch, a slight slowing of the mind. But if he manages to wrap it around a person, it is veyr like to paralyze their soul. Likes: Hot dogs, ice cream, his family, his firend Din, his wife (very much), kindness, puppies, old fashioned music Dislikes: Deserts, cruelty, silence, titles, pickles Theme Song: None Yet Other: If you try to pull one over on Wraith... he will never let you go. Ever. |

just so everyone knows reapers live on a different plane. Naturally and can't NORMALLY be seen or touched by a human. And only strong of heart people even if they do see Mourning star will be able to see a reaper. And nona it's approved |
