Ok I am going to be playing Father Time (proper name Kronos) and i need some suggetions on which picture to use for him, I'm not making a profile since I'm going with the standard stereotype for him. Note to self: aim to push the thread ahead by 20 pages in Ninkitty's absense.  Oh everyone I have a few updates with Death Gods. Death Gods can make themselves seen to humans if they so please. They can touch, faze through and be touched by a human if they so please. But if they are invisible to most humans, if a human (my character mainly, but not right now) is strong of heart and mind, they can see and touch a Death God no matter what the circumstances. But Death Gods won't exactly know this since it hasn't happened for centuries...and naturally with the passing of time if any had been touched before they would most likely not remember it. Of course that is unless the death god like somehow got raped by the human and didn't take their life...but since most the death gods are most likely gonna be dudes anyways...i dont think they'd complain to much. Am I Right? |

Did you have a preference as to how long it will take for everyone to meet, Mosiac? I wasn't sure if you wanted everyone to have contact with your character early on before certain events began, or if it didn't matter. If there was a preference, I could try to do something to get my character out of school so she's more available for interaction. |

Actually I had plans for our characters since they know each other due to your characters brother. Technically the actions im going through right now are still around Noon time while your about an hour ahead i'd guess. Which is why I'd prefer if people do personal time skips in their posts, post the time it is at the current action within that paragraph/series of paragraphs. But thats mainly if that skip is like over 20 minutes. That would be helpful. Cuz i was thinking that my character would meet up with you after school. |

Username: Sikis1312 Character Name: Lillian Bain Age: 17 Personality: She is usually very shy like her Brother Michael Bain. She is quite smart and knows more about life and people than most. People usually try to push her around although she can really protect herself. If she can’t do so her brother will. She is sweet, reserved, shy, loving, passionate, and kind. She has a second personality, She doesn’t have a name but she is the root of all evil in the mind of Lillian. She hates those romantic saps and girls who talk like they are innocent. She likes to try to influence Lily to do things that she shouldn’t be doing. She is always making things harder than necessary. Appearance: Lily Bio: Her real father left her when she was a young girl. The exact age had been blocked as her father was an abusive jerk. Her mother wasn’t the greatest and always tried to control things. It drove Lily crazy! Then to top it all off her mother and brother fought often. Her mother was always trying to tell him what was wrong with him. Sometimes Lily wanted to slap her mother, she was such a jerk. It seemed that both parents were. Then her parents decided that they wanted to have another honey moon and just shipped her off to live with her brother. She didn’t mind the being with her brother part, she loved her brother, but they just decided to send her off! They didn’t even ask about this. Just made it happen. Now she lives in Japan with her Brother Michael and they live in a three room apartment. She goes to a high school nearby and still has yet to find a good pair of friends. Eventually her brother started going to college and her stepdad Likes: Her brother, books, music, animals, computers, traveling and boys. Dislikes: Jerks, evil, her parents, and snobs. Hobbies: Reading, writing, school, and drawing Theme Song: Anthem for the underdog Other: She knows her brother will take care of her no matter what. She also has a tattoo on her shoulder an influence of her other personality. |

Alright, I'll pace myself until the end of the school day until I make her leave, however long that's going to take... Did you have an idea as to how familiar our characters will be? Family friends, and all of that, but I'm not sure if it means that these two are good friends who are on a first name basis or not (traditionally, I believe the Japanese refer to acquaintances by last name only, perhaps with the -san honorific, and I think our characters are the only ones remotely Asian?). Either way, I'm sure their level of "friendship" will determine what would be most appropriate for my character in terms of her demeanor when in his presence. Just trying to get an idea as to how familiar Sae will be with him, since I don't want to overdo it or make less of it than it could have been, etc. |

Well I'd figure they'd know each other to where they still use the honorific...but occassionally let the other get away with calling them by their first name. But I think in my chase i would use -chan correct...cuz ive noticed that the male usually uses -chan when referring to a female. |

Yeah, -chan is basically used towards someone who is younger (male or female really). As he's older, my character would most likely refer to him by -san, or if things were comfortable enough, -kun which is used towards males in a more casual or familiar sense, I suppose. With the honorifics and last names in mind, I won't mind if you have to shorten Sae's surname to make it sound like less of a mouth full with the -chan attached on the end. lol... Well, when he's not using her first name, anyway. Doubtful she would care too much either, considering she's aware of how different her last name is from other Asians. |

Right. Well the honorific with him doesn't matter...it depends on what you think she would use, after all even though they get along, he argued alot with her brother. I should probably edit in the ties into his bio. |

Well, it's been a few years since the fighting would have occured, since the brother was out of the game at 14. But I suppose it would all depend on why they used to fight, and what they fought over. Who the main antagonist was, and all of that. But even if Sae had been bitter at all to him after her brother's death, I think enough time has passed that enough exposure would help supress and/or get over it. I'll have to wait and see how things develop, and what memories might come into play to guide me in writing her actions/feelings. Still have time to consider those things though, at least until she gets out of classes and they can meet. |

If Sae would be aware of this possible history, it would probably be helpful to know so I could implement it somehow into the character. lol If you want to share, go ahead. Not sure if you want to say it here in the OOC or through PM though. |
