LEMURA Eons ago, three cosmic entities did battle among the stars. The three entities were known as Anjisaar, The One, and The Sorcerer. These entities each rose great armies from beyond mortal perceptions of time and space. Anjisaar gathered what would be known as the Legions of Chaos to his side. The One created the Ultima Thule to fight for him. And The Sorcerer created armies of spiritual beings. These three forces clashed for thousands of years until The Sorcerer was killed by Anjisaar. In the resulting blast, a new world was formed. The world became known as Lemura. In the aftermath of The Sorcerer’s death, The One used his mighty sword to seal away a large portion of Anjisaar’s near limitless power. He then broke it into nine jewels called the Crystals of Power. Anjisaar and The One, drained from the great fight, descended onto Lemura with their armies. As The Sorcerer’s energy seeped into the world, new races were born: Mankind, the Elves, the Animus, and the Demons. Mankind was united by a man named Richard Hyperbor, who began the building of one of the greatest kingdoms on Lemura: Hyperboria. The Elves took to the dark forests and were seldom seen. The Animus and Demons separated to the north and south. In the year 1200, when King Solomon Hyperbor, direct descendant of King Richard, took the Azure Throne of Hyperboria, darkness began to grow in lands to the west. Rumors reached King Solomon that a figurehead called Anjisaar had come to power in the western lands far beyond Hyperboria’s borders. For months, Solomon thought nothing of it and life went on as usual within the empire until a report came that a border fortress had been attacked and razed to the ground. The attackers were hooded knights bearing the standard of the western lands. The attack had been ordered by Anjisaar. Frustrated by this, Solomon went to his adviser, an ancient sorcerer, who informed him that Anjisaar was an old foe of the Gods. Known as the Scourge of Lemura, Anjisaar had once raged a war with the Ultima Thule. The war raged for centuries before Anjisaar’s power was broken by The One, master of the Ultima Thule. Solomon took immediate action, he mustered his Imperial Legions and tightened all defenses in the border fortresses that were still standing. He wanted to stop the war before it started, so he, at the head of his Legions, marched across the border of Hyperboria to meet Anjisaar’s conquering armies head-on. However, the were not expecting to be met by a horde of undead fiends. So, defeated, the Legions of Hyperboria retreated to lick their wounds and formulate a new strategy. The second night after the Legion’s defeat, Solomon was visited by one of the Ultima Thule, who gave him the Crystal of Vera, an ancient artifact that would guide him in his fight. Now, with the Gods on his side, King Solomon Hyperbor once again gathers his armies to take the fight to Lord Anjisaar’s hordes. Anjisaar, recovered from his cosmic battle with The Sorcerer and The One, had revived his Legions of Chaos and joined with a race known as the Wraiths, who possessed one of the nine crystals that housed Anjisaar’s power. With a portion of his full strength restored, Anjisaar marched his armies to war. Ultima Thule This group of spiritual beings is in itself an army. However, there are several powerful figureheads who have taken the role of gods in the eyes of mortals. Que’Hagan - Spirit of war Azu’Kai - Spirit of the skies Mara - Spirit of the fires These three, along with The One, are the strongest of the Thule. They know firsthand how great and terrible the power of Anjisaar and his minions is. Hyperborian Empire The civilization of mankind ruled by Solomon Hyperbor. The imperial soldiers are excellent fighters baptized in battle during several small conflicts with the Demons. Hyperborians are more than the average human. They are stronger and more magically adept than normal humans, but are still surpassed by the Elves and Wraiths. Animus The Animus are a race of animals that have evolved into humanoid bodies and retain the power to transform into the animal they represent. They are stronger and faster than humans, but count them as their greatest allies and have sent their own army to mesh with Hyperboria’s. Demons The Demons of Lemura come in all varieties. They are friends of both the Animus and the humans and would like nothing more than to see Anjisaar sent back to the darkness from whence he came. They, like the Animus, have allied themselves with Hyperboria and sent several legions of their own to join with Hyperboria’s. Wraiths Very little is known of this reclusive race. They simply appeared in the East several centuries ago. Hyperborian scholars believe they were born from one of the Crystals of Power. Elves The only positive things people say about the Elves are about their appearance and fighting ability. Elves are, in fact, selfish, arrogant, elitist, and generally annoying. They have refused thus far to enter the conflict. Orcs/Goblins The youngest race of Lemura. Created recently by one of the awakened Crystals of Power, these savage creatures hold no allegiance other than their own. The presence of war only strengthened the Orcs war machine. Presently, they are swarming across the Animus territories. Key Characters King Solomon - Proud, brave, noble. These three words only begin to describe Solomon Hyperbor. Under his rule, Hyperboria was at the height of its golden age until Anjisaar made himself known again. He possesses on of the nine crystals, which allows him to observe his lands from his throne room. General Henry - A large, powerful man who is one of the commanders of the Hyperborian Legions. General Roger - A lean, wiry man who is one of the Legion commanders Lord Beckett, the sorcerer - Solomon’s chief advisor and master of magical energies. Some believe that he is to fulfill a prophecy foretelling the return of The Sorcerer. Beckett himself does not believe this. The Arch-Wraith, Anjisaar’s general - Commander of the Wraiths and one of Anjisaar’s generals. Kalim Demoth - Anjisaar’s second-in-command and general of the Legions of Chaos. He loves nothing more than to see his enemies suffer and die before him. However, he is also a music and literature buff and amazingly, he cares for the well being of the Wraiths under his command. Bio: Anjisaar’s true origins, like those of The One and The Sorcerer are shrouded in mysticism and mystery. He did battle with The One and The Sorcerer in the three-way war eons before the creation of Lemura. At his moment of victory, when he slew The Sorcerer, a great portion of his power was sealed away in nine crystals by The One and scattered throughout the newly born Lemura. In the year 1200, he recovered from his loss and rallied his Legions of Chaos to his side again along with the race known as the Wraiths. With the new armies at his command, Anjisaar brought war upon the Hyperborian Empire. |

Name: Mara Age: unknown Race: elemental fire born from the crystal of flame? Gender: Female Height: Five feet seven inches Weight: One hundred and twenty one pounds when solid in human form. Appearance: Spoiler: click to toggle Personality: Like the very flame she was born from, Mara tends to be serene like the flames that birthed her, but like most flames it is a fine line between serene flames and those of utter destruction. Bio: When The one guided the battle into his own favor, the sealing of Anjisaar's limitless power brought into existence the Nine jewels, one of whom contained the element of flame. It was this formed jewel that slowly allowed its untapped power to become molded into a singular entity, the form born from very flames would come to manifest itself into flesh. That fleshed form came to be named Mara the indestructible. Mara now walks the realm of Lemura and at times gives the grace of her company to mankind. Her powers seen in the calm flames of a hearth, to that of the art of combat, Mara simply is and continues to live. Powers: Fire Bolt a small amount of elemental flame energies, creates darts of pure fire used against enemy(s) Warmth By collecting the essence of the ambient heat in the surrounding air, Mara can convert this energy into the mystical force that powers her spells as well as heal herself. Inferno A spout of flame that burns enemies. Blaze Mara's footsteps ignite the very ground she walks upon and forms a blazing wall of flame behind her. Orb(s) of flame: a large amount of elemental fire and contain it within a globe of energy. Discharging it toward her enemy, those energies are released in a devastating explosion upon impact. This spell of mass destruction is ideal for bombarding the encampments of her enemies. Barrier of flame: a barrier of flame to block her flanks from attack, creating a tactical advantage for both herself and her allies. Any creature unwitting enough to attempt to cross the barrier will feel the full force of these flames as they advance to their ruin. Enchant: imbue a weapon with the power of fire Rebirth from ash: Flame manipulation at a grand scale, The forming of any image of creature, most often that of a phoenix, or pure flame is formed and a massive attack ensues. Burning all in its path before the creature explodes and leaves most of what it touches in the form of ash. His hair is a shining silver and he carries a long zwelinder-like sword with a silver colored blade and a ruby pummel stone. Personality: Violent but in control of his temper likes to know his opponents, wise when he's not training. And protects all worthy warriors. Bio: Que was born from the Chaos of the War cystal his birth was quick he came out all ready for battle, armor shining and sword clanging. He likes watching the mortals and casting his blessings on worthy warriors. Other: None Name: Lord Zagus Beckett Age: 32 Race: Hyperborian Gender: Male Height: 6'5 Weight: 160 lbs Appearance: Thin, regal looking with short white hair a long royal blue robe and black and gold boots. Personality: Cryptic, wise, patient, smart, aloof, and skeptical to Doomsayers. Bio: Raised as a Mage he was destined for great things. He advises the King in the most important matters and heads the King's Mage warriors. He's also been in contact with the Warrior bands that fight around the Kingdom they call themselves Followers. He remembers coming across the name in his studies before but thinks little more of it then just old fashioned superstition. An old Seer called Idan is a paramount nutball among the blood thirsty killers. But the bands help defend the Empire so he can't do much to them. Other: None. Her thirst for blood and violence is just barely controlled, held in check by her infinate loyalty to Anjisaar. The epitomy of a sadist in every aspect of the word, finding the screams of her victims sensual and their blood beautiful. She has said before that blood is like liquid jewels. On the battlefield is known to paint herself with the spilled blood of her enemies. Bio: When Semira and Anjisaar first met, the Arch Wraith had planned on destroying the lord just for fun. But, instantly impressed with his powerful aura and deep spirit, she decided instad to join and serve him, bringing the rest of her race along with her. Which was a smart move on her part, because Anjisaar would have certainly destroyed her. But over the years, her talents as a tactition and passion for battle impressed her lord and she was quickly appointed to be the general of Anjisaar's wraith army.
