We are coming upon the 10 year anniversary of one of the best and most groundbreaking games ever released. I speak, of course, of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. I remember when I was lad of about 8ish and playing the game for the first time. Just like then, I still find it highly enjoyable and very compelling. Reflecting back, I now realize that the background noise made certain areas particularly atmospheric. Now, I'm not just talking out of my ass when I call OoT "one the most groundbreaking games ever released." For the era of gaming when it was released, it created a new peak of sorts. The 3-D graphics and game mechanics such as Z-targeting were astounding for the time. Sure, by today's standards the graphics and such are not great, but I'm not here to compare it with the gaming standards of today! I am here to express my love of this game and to let others do the same. So...yea...go. |

I love Ocarina of Time. I have so many fond memories, and I've beaten it well over 15 times. Heh. Wow, this game haunts me at night, and in a good way. |

Seriously? It's only been ten years? Holy crap, I thought it was older then that. I love that game, I have both it and master quest, but the original still holds the top spot for zelda in my heart. |
