I didn't want to go off topic in the "Saddest VG Moments" thread, so I thought I'd move it here. ![]() Anyway, about RE6 . . . I don't want Ada. She's annoying. I like Ashley more than I like Ada because Ashley has so much more personality than Ada does. Ashley's a quirky, a bit annoying teenage girl who's trying to be brave but is also downright terrified; Ada is a stereotypical "sexy but deadly" chick. No contest, Ashley wins. So what does everyone think of this game? I love the storyline, but because I haven't really played 0-3, some of it is lost on me. (Though I have played Umbrella Chronicles, so I do know a bit.) |

Oh, I've kicked so much ass at the whole Series. I mean, I ended up buying 4 like, 3-4 months ago? I hadn't played 3 since it came out way back when in 1999. Which makes me wonder... What the hell was a nine year old doing fighting Nemesis. But yeah, honestly, I'd LOVE is Ashley came back, though maybe not as a front line character. Maybe replace Hunnigan as a background help character. Kinda like Otacon from Metal Gear Solid 1, 2, and 4. Though i wouldn't mind her helping if she could use a gun this time. I mean, 5 to 6 years is enough time for Leon to teach her the finer points of a Broken Butterfly. Ada though? I'll never get over how cool she is. I mean, she was the initial breaking force behind exposing Umbrella. Leon and Claire would have been good as dead without her in 2. It's thought that she throws one of them a rocket launcher to kill the tyrant near the end. I count how she did the same for Leon against Saddler as my evidence that it was her. In the end, I just know for 6, possibly 7 depending on if they want to do something with Claire or maybe Rebecca from 0 in the mean time, that she's going to be one of the guiding pimp hands in kicking Wesker's ass. But four was probably my favorite in the Series, just because of the fact that Leon came back more badass then ever. Control Style was nice too, but I hate how for Game Cube you couldn't move and shoot at the same time. I may get it for PC so I can play Separate Ways. |

Leon's awesome. Epic bad-assery. I'd love to see Ashley come back. I was disappointed in the game that she didn't get any weapons. I think I would have smacked Leon upside the head for a gun, even a little one. Hey, what exactly does Wesker have to do with Resident Evil 4? From Umbrella Chronicles I figured out that he's an Umbrella dude, but yeah. |

Wesker = B.A.M.F. A hateful, ass hole-ish B.A.M.F. but a B.A.M.F. none-the-less. Somehow he's that one in a million guy who can inject the T-Virus into himself and NOT become horribly mutated. From what I gathered about him though is that he worked under a different agency in RE4 in hopes of resurrecting the Umbrella corporation, which had fallen some time during the last few games. And off topic to the RE5 trailer... wtf?! I heard Sherry Birkin was back but apparently... possibly... evil? EDIT: To Wesker, I just remembered he's usually in search of any virus, such as the T-Virus, Progenitor Virus, G-Virus (hence, Sherry), and the T-Veronica Virus too (I don't quite remember). No doubt in RE4 he was after the Las Plagas. Edited by Persephone, 21 Nov 2008, 09:09 PM.

In four, if you play Assignment Ada, and Seperate Ways, he's actually who she's working for. He was after the Las Plagas to apparently Revive Umbrella... Which Makes little Sense to me, since he's the one who basically obliterated it. What I wanna know is, what's his angle. What could he accomplish by turning everyone in the world into zombies. I mean, I could see if he was going to hold the world hostage, but it don't seem like his way. |

Actually, he could if he wanted a certain something. Think about it, Wesker loves power, possibly thrives on it. If Umbrella is revived, the possibilities for new biochemical warfare are endless. Umbrella started it all; therefore, who else could enhance their studies other than the origin? Wesker is probably doing all of this because he wants to test those boundaries (he was a scientist at one point wasn't he?), and be unstoppable. Of course, these are just theories. We won't really know until the next game, I suppose. |

I love the game it is fun plus the endless array of zombies coming after you is so funny, at least until you get the ones that just don't want to die. After you beat the game for the first time though it gets way to easy, especially if you keep the infinite rocket launcher. Also the Ada side stroy is kinda annoying as well. Then the whole Merceneries thing kicks ass, especially with Wesker and crap I forget his name,...the guy with the mutated arm. |

Krauser. And yeah, he probably intends to hold the world hostage with an army of Zombies, and threats to make the rest of the world into them. But honestly, Leon is a badass and all, but I think it's gotta be Chris who kills him. They were part of the same team. And yeah, he was one of Umbrella's chief scientists. Though I do have a sick idea about what his plans are for the Plaga. |

Was reading something and now I must know if it's true!!! Steve Burnside (Code Veronica X) is really back? Holy crud, I thought Wesker was just taunting Claire at the time! ...and who be the bird lady, hm? Sherry or Jill? There's a lot of discussion going on about who's behind the bird mask. Of course, this thread is mainly for RE4 but seriously... Steve? Talk about the plot thickening. |
