This has been a thought in the back of my head for awhile but it never came out to be typed till now...it isn't solidly planned either. Don't expect me to give you any guidelines for this. I want capable writers who will write to make a good story for people to read. I would appreciate a knowledge of the show but it isn't mandatory....wait those are guidelines aren't they?
Three men sit around a table outside yelling at each other. The conversation clearly being for all to hear. Care to listen?
Antonio: "The year is 2081 (for those of you who don't know this is ten years after the events of Cowboy Bebop.) Imagine if you will our universe no longer restricted to just earth. In fact Earth is a mess, Mars is now seen a the center of the our universe. Other planets and moons have also been terraformed to house dwelling of the human race."
Carlos: " HA! Ten years ago something huge happened, yet not many people know about it. The Red Dragon Crime Syndicate was dissolved through the actions of one man: Spike Spiegel. "
Jobim: "A lot can happen in ten years though. Jet a friend of Spiegel's now has quit his life as a cowboy (A bounty hunter for those of you who don't know anything about the show.) strangely enough he has settled down docking the Bebop and opening up a mechanic shop. "
Carlos: "He is visited regularly by Ms. Faye Valentine but she never did quite recover over Spike's death, and now she searches for something to fill that void. Pretty lady she is though ain't she?!"
Antonio: "The Net diver Radical Edward and her pal Ein lived with her father for awhile mapping out Earth as the continual meteor shower took place. Recently she's disappeared and who knows what kinda trouble she is into."
Jobim: "Enough about them though, there have been more monumental things that have taken place. Bounty hunting was encouraged by the ISSP (Inter Solar System Police) and has picked up once again which in turn meant the re establishment of the hit TV show Big Shot. "
Antonio: "Why has this happened?"
Carlos: "The answer is simple don't you watch the news? With the election of the new interplanetary council (NIC) they decided to give everyone a new start, which resulted in an amnesty like none other. This wasn't the only thing they decided reset either: the economy, a new woolong (currency) distribution has tossed everything upside down!"
Jobim: "Who even elected this change in government anyway? Well it wasn't long before the NIC was at each others throats trying to put blame. They 'disbanded' and have left the whole solar system in disarray! Only little pocket governments remain and they hardly do any sort of a job."
Antonio: "Needless to say things aren't the greatest, and you can guarantee that there is now a huge power struggle going on with the higher ups in the solar system trying to get a foot hold on the top of the political ladder. "
Jobim: "...Universal domination is what I say."
Antonio and Carlos: "Shut up you fool! They'll get you for saying stuff like that!"

So I want a simple character sheet. Name, Appearance, Age,Talents, other little details like if they carry any sort of weapons, own a MONO (Machine Operation Navigation of Outer space) : racer, boat, carrier?! (If so the name and bla bla bla.) Personality and such should be developed through the rp. I don't need a description of it now. They only canon characters that I'm going to allow anyone to be is characters would be Faye Valentine, Edward, and if you really want to Ein. Other than that I do not care what your character is like, political leader to street bum whatever floats your boat.
Ahem now without further ado I give you:
Name: Louis 'Lou' Howard

Talents: Has excelled in hand to hand combat over his years of practice. However his love for machines often overcomes his disciplines of combat. An excellent mechanic.
Weapons: none
Biography: When Red Eye (a drug) began to hit the market Lou was only 17. He was easily pressured into using and enjoyed it. It was great for awhile but eventually the toll caught up to him. He suffered from prolonged pancreatic attacks. Cutting cold turkey was the hardest thing he ever had to do in his life but it also gave him a life to save. During his time of recovery he found once again a joy he had in working on machines. Anything from MONO racers to household appliances.
When the economic turmoil began he found himself out of a job, by doing odd job around the small town he lives in he has managed to get by. Slowly however a new desire has begun to grip him. It started when he helped the ISSP on a drug bust not long after his recovery. Who knows soon his desire may become a reality?
