WELCOME LADIES AND GENTLEMEN TO THE 31ST ANNUAL ADVANCED MOBILE UNIT TOURNAMENT!!!!!!!
Like every year we always have some great news to bring to you....so with pleasure i am happy to announce the return of:
Team Events
Survival Events

And for those who wished for something new, we have:
The All-New "Armored Egg" Division

Also returning this year is last year's defending champion:
Leo Elric

Now lets see this year's Contestants....

In this RP you will not be able to determine to the outcome of your attacks on your enemies....I WILL BE DOING THAT. See i won't actually be participating in this RP as a Character. So when your in a fight you will describe an attack on your opponent then your opponent will do the same then that's where i come in as the invisible god that determines whether or not you hit something......so because of this factor you will only be able to post after I post a result....so make your post detailed and nice so i can properly damn the other guy to mecha hell for an inadequate post.

That being said...if your opponent doesn't post for a while i'll let you go to town on his ass

Biography: this is only for when you proceed to season two after the tournament if you decide to play this RP again. you will be labeled a veteran or Champion...then you have to write about what last season was like for your character.

Primary Weapon: one weapon can be equipped here
Secondary Weapon: one weapon can be equipped here
Side weapons: 2 light weapopns can be equipped here


Stats: you will have 2 points to begin with. After each battle if you win or perform well you will be given a point to distribute to your stats. stats go from 1-10
Stability: this stat determines the the durability of your mecha as the stat goes up you can meet the requirements of certain special equipment if it goes down then some currently equipped items may fail to respond. properly repairing your mecha regularly can prevent stat decreases
Acceleration: this determines reflexes, top speed and mobility of your mecha increasing this stat is essential for those times when those precious milliseconds can mean death if your not prepared.
Power: determines the power output of your mecha which in turn determines how long your mecha can go without having to stop and recharge i determine this




Free-For-All Event:
This event pits all of the contestants against each other in one massive arena. Every contestant is included except the champions of any previous Tournament, who can choose to opt out and succeed to the next round. New Contestants cannot opt out unless to forfeit. Each Mech is equiped with light-guns and sensory armor. Much like a kids game of laser tag the point is to shoot your opponents until their systems fail and they are removed from the field. This non-lethal event is used primarily to widdle away at the numbers of contestants until thirty contestants are left. There is a particular shame that is attached to one's team if one were to lose in this event.

Survival Event:
The only difference between this event and the Free-For-All is its lethality and the fact that only 2-season Veterans can participate. All weapons and equipment are allowed. Forfeit is allowed without Mercy Consent.

One-On-One Event:
Like the title says its a 1v1 event all weapons and equipment are allowed. Forfeit is not allowed unless Mercy Consent is given or the Contestant is out of Critical Mode. Mainly used in tournament

Two-On-Two Event:
Same as 1v1 Event but with teams. Forfeit is allowed if teammate is dead.

Duel Event:
same as 1v1 Event. Forfeit is not allowed unless winning Contestant offers Mercy Consent.

Revenge Event:
Only for those who have lost a previous match with opponent. This event can interrupt ongoing matches if the opponent of targeted Contestant gives consent. Due to the abrupt nature of this event it is rather expensive to initiate and forces the interrupter to bet all of his credits given they meet the requirements for such an Event. This event cannot however interrupt 3 season veterans or champions.

Mercy Consent: Mercy consent is a method of sparing the life of a loser in most cases its usually given to a loser who forfeits before the deathblow is made. however its not allowed in some Events.

Mecha: Giant metal robots used for war and brutal entertainment and as a young fan once put it, shortly before his mother was crushed underneath falling debris: "Look Mommy, the robot go pew pew and he go falling (mother is crushed under fallen mecha)...mommy....MOMMY!!!" Har Har, memorable moments like these are what makes Colosseum Mechanica so great.

Sven will Modify any of your mechs parts for a price you can PM me your ideas for modification and I will judge its price and make any adjustments if need be. Remember you can't get something unless you give something (EXAMPLE: you have modified your core to double the energy effiency of your upper limbs allowing for a faster reaction time for your upper limbs but at the costy of decreasing your mobility by 50% I.E. slow legs for fast arms)

Upgrade: Lars will upgrade one stat, one point for 60,000 credits
Full Repair: Lars will repair your mech fully for 40,000 credits this takes one day to complete so wait one day before starting a new battle
Part Repair: Lars will repair one part of your mech for 5,000 credits each
Quick Fix: Lars will patch up your mech for your next fight for 10,000 credits but it will increase the likelihood of critical mode failure by 10% and all repairs will be nullified after the battle ends.

Revolving Gen-45 Shotgun: $7,000
A self reloading shot gun with 4 barrels. Once two barrels are fired the barrels spin to the next while the other is reloaded.

Colony Defense Sniper Rifle: $10,000 Stability 5-6
A Sniper Rifle with a range of 3000 meters with a self propelled rocket near the back compartment.

Midnight Stinger: $15,000,
Semi-automatic machine gun that has night vision scope, x-ray vision, and inferred vision all in one. Has a attachment that enables you to listen to sound vibrations from foot prints or movements in the air.

NanoProto Rifle: $15,000 Stability 8-9 Power 9-10
Long ranged weapon the size of an Assault Rifle. It operates in much the same a normal Rifle would expect instead of firing bullets it fires nano machines. The nano machines latch themselves on the mecha. It causes the segment hit, to explode from the inside out with the use of a denator located on the rifle itself. Nano machines can be rendered in effective by running an electrical current through the Mecha. NanoProto Rifle makes all most no sound except for the explosion itself. Extremely light weight. It has no need to reload.

God-Eye Stock+: $90,000 Requires Modified Core for stability increase past max stability Known in the Islamic alliance systems as the God Eye this highly motified sniper rifle is greatly feared for it's deadly accuracy and nearly perfect success rate of 70%. Fires a golden cased round with penatrator based points that can go clean through body armor. The frame of the rifle itself is coated in a thin layer of gold. It's is called the God Eye because each round fired increase the accuracy of the user by 5% until it reaches a devastating 100% almost a instant kill. $90,000

Lectro Shotgun- $75,000 This sawed-off shotgun shoots small 100 foot long copper wires in a short but wide range then sends an electrical current through the woven reinforced copper wires into whatever is hit a tazer/shotgun mix weapon. Produces 1,000 volts per shot.

Proxy Shotgun- $200,000 Stability and Acceration and Power Max
A very unorthadox shotgun that use a pump for automatic reloading. It is equiped with a flashlight and side holster. The Proxy Shotgun once fired activates an event horizon effect within its Fusion rounds 100m slow motion effect that slows everything but you. This lasts as long as you can fire the weapon which holds a max of 8 rounds.

A.I Sniper Pod: $350,000 Stability 3
This Rifle is self automated for targeting by a smart computer. This system is aimed with help from the Head of the mecha and its pilot. Pods can be stored in the torso or the booster and must be on the outside for easy dispersal.

Revovler Gen-23: $600
A high impact handgun that delivers a loud but powerful shot with a intense requoil. It packs a punch and requires constant reloading.

2CX-2000 Pistol: $600
The commonly used handgun that's inexpensive, quickly reloaded, low requoil, and good firing production. It's only flaw is the amount of ammo it holds. Two is always better than one.

Pin Gun: $5,000
Gun that uses a series of lethal needles that have differing effects once shot into a victum.
Fusion Needles: $200
Nitrogen Needle: $400
Disintegration Needle: $800

Nonpenatrating Detenation Pistol: A detonation pistol that fires sticky bullets that explode once they are activated from the switch located on the reloading chamber. $30,000 each

Grenade(smoke, flash, frag, sound, vibration): $3000
Smoke: Provides cover for infiltration, stealthy kills, or quick escapes.
Flash: Uses blinding light to distract the enemy.
Frag: Produces a powerful explosion.

Electromagnetic Gernade: $1,000
Renders all electrical devices unusable. Recommended against mechs, but may take more than one.

Giga Reactor: $25,000 each
This unorthadox device is a extremely devastating explosive recommended for multiple enemies. It's sole purpose is to unbalance the gravity in a given area and absorb every thing within it's radius. Once it's activated the device forces everyone/thing to float in midair as it begins to suck the trapped individuals near it until it finally explodes up to a 800 meter radius. It will take a large amount of power to overcome the pull of the device and a great amount of speed to out run the blast.

Psuedo Giga Grenade: $15,000 each
Using the properties of a giga reactor this grenade briefly unbalances the gravtiy in the radius of ten feet however it doesn't explode making it relatively harmless to the people exposed to its mainly used for quick getaways or quick kills. (1 post trap)

Nano Grenade: $85,000 each
This sphere contains thousands of tiny microscopic nanobits programmed to consume everything within a unlimited radius at a extremely fast rate. Once activated and tossed at intented target the user can use the dentonator to shut off the nanobits once they are satisfied with the damage. Nanobits can each through the softest flesh and the hardest metal. Easily shorted out by an EMP pulse.

C6: $95,000 each
The most powerful explosive to date that utilizes two major chemicals. Once activated via voice command, detonator, or merely hitting the switch this circular explosive mixes liquid C5 together with a highly reactive red12 gas creating a blast radius a devastating blast radius up to 800 meters. It's not in the range but blast itself. You can adjust the radius of the blast as you see fit.

Cryogenic Bomb- $2,000 per pack (3 per pack)
Capable of flash freezing bodies of water, or living creatures caught within a ten yard radius of it. Nearby surfaces within a twenty-five yard radius are coated in ice, hampering the escape of targets who managed to avoid being frozen.

Proximity Explosive Rods- $4,000 per canister (10 per canister)
usually used effectively from the air when the canister is opened the rod hit the ground and stay there until the enemy gets close enough to activate the proximity sensor

Shock Knife: Veteran pilots only $1,000
if able to penetrate the surface of a mecha of an opponent it sends a small unnoticeable electric current down the middle of the blade, although not able to do any real damage to the mecha itself it does however immoblize the pilot sending them into shock. (1 post)

Razor Style Hunting Knife: $2000
A extremely sharp knife used for close combat.

Black Scabbard Katana: $8,000
A no hilt katana that is concealed in a shealth making it look like an empty sheath.

Siren Long Blade: $10,000
This long blade was constructed from the hardest steal and sharpened using micro lasers. This is a bit of a messy blade since the extreme sharpness causes large quanities of blood to spill. So consealing the evidence would be difficult.

HX Splitting Lance: A large Lance capable of piercing through the joints of most mecha after it pierces the joints a hydraulic pump inside the lance pushes it apart inorder to separate the joints of the target mecha. $50,000

Side Reaper: Requires a modified limb. A rotating hand saw that can be extend out of the Mecha’s arm for quick and close attacks. $15,000

Hidden Claws – A pair of wrist mounted blades designed to be concealed on the body. These blades hold next to the armor on top of the forearms until activated with a switch located in the mecha’s palm. At this point the blade’s launch forward, giving the user what is essentially a pair of swords with which to do battle. $25,000

Dead Ringer- $25,000
A electro/vibrating steel rod that can retract and extend at will. It has the ability to pump 100,000 volts of electricity into a target or blow them away with a burst of amplified sound.

Goujian – A Jian style Chinese sword named after an ancient Chinese relic. With a blade of shining Tungsten steel and an almost airtight sheath, this weapon can go unmarred by the elements when not in use. A deep red tassel hangs from its hilt, creating confusion in movements and distracting the opponent until their own crimson is revealed. $32,000

Searing Blade: $34,000
A machete length blade that contains a small power supply at the base of it's hilt that runs a high voltage current through the blade to heat the metal. Any cuts made with this weapon produces electrical damage.

A&B Chainsaw- $35,000 Stability 7
This modified chainsaw is exactly what it sounds like. It's able to slice and dice targets to pieces for a good close combat fight. It also carries a grenade launcher attachment for extra damage.

Green Destiny - Majin Style Chinese long blade inscribed with the symbols of a tale of two gods who once fought over the blade. It's extremely light and releases a high frequency pitch once it connects with a object stronger than a sound grenade. This allows the user to throw off his/her enemy’s stability then counter with a strike. $55,000

Japanese Sai- Duel Sai melee weapons that are mainly used for close combat situations. One can be used to disarm while the other is used for a follow up strike. Sai's are light weight and extremely sharp ideal for quick attacks and silent kills. $77,000

Nanoblade $95,000 stability 5 acceleration 5
Using advances in nanotechnology, the Nanoblade is a liquid steel katana which contains the entire sword within its hilt. The nanobots are preprogrammed to either return to the hilt or extend to create the blade of the sword. The means it is a sword that can be easily concealed in a pocket, and never dulls. Its only real weaknesses are that it takes up to 1.5 seconds to extend, and is disrupted by EMPs and high electrical discharges.

Nanoblade mkII $105,000 Veterans only
This is a standard Nanoblade, except the nanobots have their own tiny electrical fields, shielding them from electromagnetic waves and pulses.

High-frequency Nanoblade $125,000 Champions Only
Similar to a Nanoblade mkII, except this one has unique nanites that vibrate at high frequency, releasing molecular bonds as it cuts. This means that even if the blade isn’t tremendously sharp, it can cut through most materials with little to no resistance. However, this blade is also tremendously sharp.

NanoProto Shearing X $500,000 Veteran Champions only
An highly advanced prototype of the Nanoblade. This blade extends and retracts using nano machinces like liquid steel. Each individual nanobots are covered in a reflective film used to render the user's katana in a invisible camo. It is considered the sharpest blade in the series abled to cut through numberous types of metal. Much like the Shearing Blade it also emits heat to instantly melt wiring within mecha slowing most nanobot recovery programs. Unlike most of the other nano technology it doesn't protect against EMP discharges it reflects it and sends it directly back to the source.

Penatrators: $100 per clip
Sharpened at the very tip these bullets are abled to shoot through light armor or even walls.

Handgun Silencer: $700
(Used for all small arms weaponry to deaden their firing sound.)

Cryogenic Rounds- $1,000 per clip
These rounds will produce a freezing effect in the targets they hit.

Rifle Silencer: $2,000
(Dulls the sound of any sniper rifle based weaponry to keep your location hidden.)

U.V Motified Ammo: Specialized rounds with a penetrating shell and metalic core that releases a small amount of light on impact. $2,000 per clip

Enferon Laced Shells- $2,000 per clip (20 rounds)
Coated with enferon, a highly explosive chemical, these shells have the explosive impact of frag gernades the size of average bullet shells. They can be coated for any type of weapon from handguns to shotguns or even sniper rounds.

90 Degree Corner Sight Attachment: $10,000 Veterans only
Attaches to all handgun, revovlers, pistols, etc. Once placed in the attachment it can extend and curve around corners on a 90 degree angle to give you a visual and allow you to fire from your current position.

Optical Surface Reader (O.S.R) - This advanced attachment connects to the top of any projectile firing weapon. When the user is pinned down by gun fire he/she may connect it's scope to their weapon and with a cord connected to a small visual screen can stay behind cover and hold the weapon above where ever they are and read the target's position while staying concealed. Reads heat, x-ray, night vision, and can even see camo'ed figures. $70,000

Percentage Reading Scope: This rifle scope attachment helps read the body tempreture, heart beats, range, height, weight, speed, etc of anything in it's path. It has X-ray, inferred, and night vision capabilities. Once it accumulates all the data it needs it provides the user with a percentage rate of success to help pick a perfect kill shot. $78,000

Kill Scope: $100,000
Uses optics, camos weapons, sees up to 2 miles.

Soaring Fangs – A set of throwing knives built for ultimate precision and aerodynamics. They are strongly built, light and easy to use, making them perfect for both long range and close combat. Comes in a set of ten. $5,000 per pack (10 per pack)

Tengu Large Shuriken: $45,000 per pack (5 per pack)
Throwing shuriken that are razor sharp that spin through the air to take out targets silently, quickly, and stealthly. They have multiple uses such as sticking into any surface, used as a video camera, and frag level explosive. Best utilized when taking out multiple targets quickly. They are about 4 feet in width.

Searing Air Disks: A set of duel razor heated disks that can be tossed and rebounded using a pair of electronical gloves. These gloves allow the disks to be directed according to the users aim. The blades also explode with the force of a frag grenade activated with the gloves or seperate detonators. $75,000 Stability 5, requires modified upper limb

Demon Chamber: Heavy in weight this rocket launcher fires naypalm based shells that allow fire to continuously spread after it's intial explosion. $10,000 stability/power 6 requires modified core and upper limbs

RPG Launcher: $15,000 power 5-6
A Rocket Launcher carring 2 rockets.

Desert Eye Bazoka: $15,000 Strength 5-7 points
This highly explosive weapon carries 2 side winder rockets. The Bazoka has a state of the art targeting system for flawless kills.

Falcon Death Bird Launcher: $25,000
A set of 4 colored shell missiles. 1 yellow, which explodes into mini gernade shells. 1 red, that explodes into a thousands of tiny piercing Tungsten steel needles. 1 black, that's a basic heat seaker. And 1 green, used for identifing the target by exploding into a cloud of green mist.

M79 Grenade Launcher: A barrel launcher that fires round after round of high explosive shells. The shells can hit with enough power to blow a hole into a target then explode on contact. This comes with a belt of 10 shells. $25,000
10 shell belt: $5,000 per belt

Leprechaun – Named for the delightful little people in green. It is an advanced technology RPG, equipped with tracking shots, heat seeking and standard rounds amongst others, all exploding with a bit more kick than standard. Due to the bright yellow flames produced by most of its shells, it has also been nicknamed “The Pot O’ Gold” May the luck of the Irish be with the poor b*stard you aim it at. $30,000

Bone Collector- $45,500
This high frequency launcher is much like the Crossbow, but it fires large stainless steel ball barings. One large ball baring that is launched heats up as it travels causing it to explode spreading mini metalic beads outward for a massive range of destruction.

Gemini - A pair of compact and light weight RPG launchers designed to work in tandom or separately. After the first fires, the second can be programmed for a timed launch, a sychronized launch, or even to track down the same detonation point as the first. Although designed for use by a two man rocket crew, the barrels of the weapons can be linked, creating a double barreled RPG with the same functions as the separated pair. $50,000

Warhammer- This is a A.I guided scatter rocket laucher that releases a missle carring hundreds of explosive shells. Once it explodes the shells themself propell themselves towards their target eliminating a mile radius. The rocket itself can be guided with electronical gloves. $55,000

Valcan Gatling Gun: $10,000 requires modified core and upper limbs
This weapon demands great strength to carry. It can unloads 1000 rounds per minute into anything it's pointed at. Carries a small gas propelled missile in the back.

Goalkeeper – A Dutch anti missile weapon originally used in the defence of ships. This one has been ripped apart and rebuilt for use by a single man. Ridiculously heavy, it is a seven barrelled Gatling gun that takes nine minutes to reload (3 posts), but comes with a radar system for early warning and can shred most targets on contact. $25,000 requires modified upper limbs and core

Grave Digger- $95,000 modifed limb, core and torso, power 10 stability 6
A massive weapon crafted into the from of a gothic metal coffin. The metal alloy of the coffin is framed around a high powered machinegun built directly inside, which can be unleashed or hidden with a turn of the crucifix mounted on the front. The machinegun itself can not be removed, but has a Taiwanese Cruise Missile attached. It also comes with a strap for carrying on the user's back. This is usually given to the big spenders as gifts.

Electromagnetic Railgun- $500,000 power 10, stability 10, completely modified body
A outrageously huge sniper rifle, which is the only one of it's kind that is abled to fire live electrical impalses. These electrical impalses are faster than a lightening strike of 000.001. They are powerful enough to blast entirely through walls. This weapon runs on a high density battery that must recharge overtime before another round can be fired (1 post). These guns can be mounted on Eko-Suits and Vehicles or even carried around, but this will drasticly lower your speed and interia status.

Flame Thrower: $15,000
This weapon carries a small portable canuster of fluid that can be easily hidden anywhere on the body.

I really like the idea behind this and am planning on joining.

However, may i suggest using a 1-10 scoring system for stability and acceleration?

Perhaps i'm a bit too quick.

your mech require money also? Coz it seems like a really small amount in comparison to the price of most of the weapons.

its only for weapons and modifications at the moment you can start out with a basic part layout
