At age 14, Yuusuke was just a punk kid known for his reputation for street fighting and causing trouble. With no life direction or motivation he wandered around town doing as he pleased.
Until one day he chose to do something for another person...
At the price of his own life.
Since then, he has been titled "Rei-kai Tantei" (Spirit Detective).
One who defends the peace of the visible human world and unseen Spiritual world.
This "defense" entails fighting against demons, and in certain instances humans who are bent on destruction.
Personally, Yuusuke isn't so mamby pamby.
He is a sucker for a challenging fight, and anything related to the act. (If he were a person in RL he would be all over the UFC XD!!)
