Is he secure, Gordon? A voice called over the Commissioner's handheld radio. The grizzled and weathered Commissioner Gordon pulled the radio from his belt and pressed the 'Talk' button.
"Yes, Mr. Stark. The Joker is secure and is on his way to the Triple Max ward. He won't be getting out so easily this time."
Don't be so sure, Commissioner. Keep eyes on him at all times. Stark replied.
"Of course, Mr. Stark. Batman is here, always is when The Joker is being re-incarcerated." Gordon rubbed his eyes beneath his glasses, it had been a 72-hour scramble around all of Gotham before they caught Joker. Bombs and Joker Gas rigged in schools, malls, community centers, and even the Wayne Corp. Building. Batman and the GCPD were able to stop the Joker in time, he even surrendered to the authorities.
Hey, Gordon?
"Yes, Tony?"
What about Castle? I know he has a kill count longer than Mr. Fantastic on a good day, but should he really be locked up in there with all those freaks? It'll be open season on him... Gordon couldn't help himself, he had to laugh. Wheezing lightly from the pack of cheap cigarettes he swallowed up earlier in the day.
"Relax Tony, Frank Castle can handle himself. He's the one opening hunting season."

The guard squad kept eyes and guns on the Joker at all times, even though he was on a suicide patient stretcher.
"Ha ha ha ha. Home sweet home..." The Joker mused, relaxing on his bed. He looked about absently, his mind likely somewhere else.
"Mmmm... The smell of Triple Max. You know, I was starting to miss this place. Hahahahehehha." the purple suited menace laughed madly as they passed the shatter-proof glass of solitary confinement. One of the veteran guards put a hand on the shoulder of a fresh-faced rookie.
"Stay away from the glass, kid. Especially with this freak." the veteran nodded in the direction of a particular cell as they passsed, a man with short black hair and icy blue eyes sat in a restraining harness as well as a straight jacket. A metal muzzle covered his face from the nose down, making it impossible for him to bite anyone.
"Who is that?" the rookie asked, "Hannibal Lecter?" The veteran guard laughed,
"No, far worse. That is Frank Castle, also known as The Punisher." The rookie turned pale. That was Frank Castle? Rumors and stories flew around the guards about breaking up fights Castle finished. He heard that he sawed off some cereal rapists head with his shackles and almost made Two-Face into No-Face. There were other stories, like how he drowned a man in boiling fry grease in the cafeteria or bit out a man's throat when he was restrained. Every story ended the same way, Castle surrendering to the guards. It was remarkable, almost noble in a twisted sort of way.
"Oooh-hoo-hoo-hoo. Frankie! Why so serious? You should really smile more. Laugh a little. Laughing does make you live longer. Heh-ha-hah-ha!" Frank Castle just stared back, his eyes cold and hateful, the tightness around them told that he was sneering.

The Asylum was quiet, as quiet as a nuthouse could get. The howls and screams of tortured minds screaming out in the night, like a decrepit lullaby of Arkham. Commissioner Gordon and his men were finally able to relax some after three days of no sleep and tense nerves.
Then, the loudspeakers chimed, but instead of the gruff tone of Warden Sharp, there was the eerie tone of The Joker. Everyone's heart raced.
"Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. Warden Sharp is.... heh-heh.... busy at the moment. Thanks to the stalwart morality of Gotham's best, I was able to stroll about and pay Sharpie a visit. Now, my finger is hovering over the master release button for the entire Asylum. No bother asking for what I want, because I am going to tell you.... I want to rule Gotham, to put an end to all of those tight-toting super-men. So come on and play with us, heroes, It's going to be one wild ride. HEE-HA-HAH-HA-HA!"
"Did you get that, Tony?" Gordon barked into the radio.
Yeah, I'm on my way, but first I need to make a few calls.
****
Hello, Professor Xavier, it's Tony, I have a favor to ask, could you spare a few mutants? Maybe Wolverine and someone else?
Damn it, Wade, you really are a pain in the ass to get a hold of! I have two-and-a-half million here that says you will do something for me....
Hey, Eddie.... You mind lending a hand? There is some money in it for you.... not to mention some nice Cuban Cigars...

Tony Stark, or Iron Man, touched down on the grounds of Arkham Asylum just outside the door where Gordon, Batman, and a few dozen guards were. It already sounded like the place had gone to hell in a handbag. Gunfire and screams muffled by walls and windows. Opening the door, Iron Man walked in,
"So, Joker escaped?" He quasi-asked, his voice slightly mechanical due to his helmet.
"Not only that, but he has just released every inmate in the asylum. That is over 3,500 psycho-killers and supercriminals." Gordon wiped the sweat from his forehead, running a hand through this thinning grey hair.
"I called in a few favors. Backup will be coming shortly. Gordon, get on the radio and call for the National Guard to close off all routes to the City. And you said all cell blocks are unlocked?" Iron Man took charge, his glowing blue eyepieces looking right at the Commissioner.
"Yes, all cell blocks. Why does that matter?" Tony sighed and gave an exasperated chuckle at Gordon's words.
"We already have a man on the inside...."

Archimedes, a large Owl-Themed vehicle, flew down from above; looking down on the guards of Arkham below.
I looked over to Dreiberg, and gave off a slight wave. I wasn't the one to wave, but Dreiberg probably wouldn't give me any more rides in Archie if I didn't.
The hatch on the ground of the ship opened, and I could see papers and other things flying around under the ship. Taking a step forward, I jumped down to the concrete ground below. I wasn't the man I used to be; I unwillingly bent my knees down, but I stood straight up quickly. What a joke.
The Carcano M91/38 bounced around on my back, as I walked forward to join Stark and the Commissioner. My .45 was holstered on my right thigh, and the Mossberg to my left; it was also moving around with each step. Where I was going, I didn't need to harness it correctly; since it would always be in my hands.
I put a half-smoked unlit cigar in my mouth, and struck a match I kept handy in my satchel. Shaking the small wooden stick free of flame, I met up with Stark and Gordon.
"I hate being first to show up to the party," I said.

"I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts, diddly, diddly do da da. There they are a standing in a row, big ones, plump ones, some covered in mud. All in bikinis red ones, blue ones, some I can see through." Cajoles Deadpool as he bounces about the rooftops of Gotham lost as a babe in the woods.
"Hey, you big over voice. I swear if you're trying to hit on me I will come into that gold booth and slap you."" I meant babe as baby! You aren't supposed to talk with me so just get back to the story!"
"Fine fine, big bossy over head voice." Anyway as Deadpool bounds and leaps over the chimneys and ledges heading for the harbor.
"Hey, if I can teleport what the hell am I doing leaping over rooftops like cape man?"
"Who?"
"You know Mister oh I'm so dark and misunderstood?"
"Batman?"
"Yeah him, and don't you tell me it's for dramatic effect."
"Just teleport you infuriating plebe."
"The over voice says with annoyance. As the Heroic Deadpool laughs." Deadpool teleports in the direction Mr. Stark left on his Deaderning machine.
He arrived about the time a big Owl machine flew away.
"Wonder if big bird has one like that?" Deadpool says watching the strange machine zoom off. From his perch atop the Asylum he scans the people gathered already. A few guards, Stark, Gordon and an older man with a mask and a lot of weaponry. Deadpool lets out a laugh then teleports off. He reappears beside the large man and yells throwing his arms wide.
"Hey Grandpa when did they let you out of Rikers?" He goes to hug the old man but stops. "Wait my Grandpa died before he made it to Rikers, I killed him for stealing my piggy bank! How dare you impersonate my dear dead Gramps like that?" Deadpool draws his sword and does a dramatic pose. Then the voice of reason in his head speaks.
"He's not an imposter fool."
"Quiet over voice of course he is he's looks just like my Grandpa even down to the mask and .45 at his hip."
"That's the Comedian."
"He doesn't look very funny."
"Just get back to the story." Deadpool sheaths his blades and says crossing his arms.
"I mean good to see you fellow Hero. So what's the deal Tony?"

There was a voice over the intercom system. Joker. The wardens of the prison were, of course, terrified. The staff however, really weren’t that worried. In fact, most of them sat in their lounges sipping their coffee. “Joker again?”
“Looks like it.”
“Think he’ll push it?”
“Of course.”
“Well, I don’t think he will.”
“John, anything you says that won’t happen is BOUND to happen.”
John made a face at his co-worker. “Well, what’ll we do if they do all break out?”
“Hide in here as usual, what else? Besides, the only person in this area is that cat girl.”
“Oh, you mean Cheetah. Yeah, and she won’t do jack, she just sits there and sulks anyway. Won’t even eat her damn food. Speaking of which… Tony!”
“Aw, why do I gotta feed her?”
“It’s your turn, now get moving!”
Tony, the grumbling twenty-something year old grabbed some food that was heating in the kitchen. Since the cat-freak didn’t eat anything practically, they kept trying to tempt her with foods that would taste good to a cat. Today’s dinner was tuna and milk. It sounded disgusting even to Tony.
He walked down the hallways with the tray, into the high security areas, and down the hallway with the sign that said Caution: Unstable Patients. Her cell was in the middle of this, padded of course. He didn’t bother taking out a tazer or something when he walked into the room. Cheetah was where she always was, laying in the corner with enough drugs in her to stun an elephant. Her emaciated body made her look pathetic, weak. He couldn’t fear her in this form. He just felt sorry.
Tony knelt on the floor by the door and spoke softly. “Hey kitty girl. I’ve got some food for you.” She didn’t answer. As always. “You need to eat something. Otherwise you’ll just waste away.”
She still didn’t answer. His curiosity got the better of him and he walked towards her. She looked so helpless in those white pants, that white straight jacket. But he knew better. He had seen her nearly take the leg off the last inmate that had tried anything funny with her. That was when they started the drugs. Tony sighed and shook his head, turning to leave. “It’d be a miracle if you got out of here.”
What he didn’t notice as he left was that the straps on the front of the jacket had slowly been gnawed through.

The X-Jet soared over Gotham City, heading towards the Asylum. The Jet hovered low to the ground, and a few of the X-men hoped out of the Jet, and walked over towards were Stark, Gordon, and two other guys were.
Rogue looked at Stark, "Hey Stark, so what's the problem? Xavier told us just to hurry our asses over here, cause there's some major trouble." Rogue looked over at the other two heros, wondering who they were.

Wolverine stood next to Rogue, feeling queezy.
"God, I hate flying..." Wolverin sneered to himself, bent over. "So, what's the pro-."
He quickly hurried to the nearest trash can to puke into. The flying had definately taken its toll.
"Ugh, I can't believe I woke up early for this," he sighed as he shuffled back over to Rogue.
Glancing around the room he could see a few familiar faces, and some that he had never encountered before. In particular, one heavily armed individual stood out. He wore blackish armor with a mask over his eyes. In particular Wolverine noticed a smiley face pin on his collar, and a cigar in his mouth. Oh, what he would have done for that cigar. He glanced around and caught sight of the shiny new suit Tony Stark was sporting.
"Hey, Tony..." he said as he looked him up and down unsure of what to say. "Nice suit."
Wolverine then proceeded to walk over to Commisioner Gordon to inquire more about the situation.
"So, what seems to be the problem?"
Myx sat on a tree branch and observed the scene. He smiled from ear to ear as the heroes showed up at the asylum. Though Myx didn’t know why they were there, he could only assume that something big must be happening. It was definitely something that would warrant further investigation.
Myx had been bored for quite a while now, and came back to this dimension to find something to amuse himself. Although he had wanted to go to Metropolis, he instead went to Gotham City. Gotham was a little too drab for his tastes, but nevertheless, he had heard that heroes were gathering. And that meant that there would be much fun to be had
Myx really wanted to go inside now and see what was up. But perhaps it would be better to wait for the heroes to enter first. He knew who each of them was, though he didn’t see any of his usual friends about. Yes, it was definitely better to wait for now and see who else would show up for the party.

Gordon and Tony Stark exchanged glances, the heroes responded quicker than expected. Sure, Deadpool had his mouth, but that would be stuffed with cash and Wade would just smile, Wolverine and Rouge were old friends, just like Xavier. Batman, well, he was honorable, if nothing else.
"This is our situation so far," Tony started, getting the go-ahead from Gordon, "The Joker just pressed the big red button, opening all cells. How he escaped, we still don't know. What matters is that all the crazies are loose and they follow the top dogs around here, the super-crazies, Joker being the king. There is a timer on the cell blocks, they open systematically." Iron Man scanned the Asylum, sighing warily,
"Wolverine, Rouge, you two go into the Triple Max cell block and get our other man, Frank Castle. Deadpool, you will go with the Comedian and get the doctors out of the Medical Wing. Batman, you and I need to get to the archives and find out exactly who we are dealing with. Gordon, you stay here and be our ears and recieve help when it comes." Activating the rocket propultion in his boots, Tony lifted himself off of the ground. He surveyed the group of heroes before him. They were a small group, but they could get the job done.
"Come on, people. Move! Let's go, Batty."

The door had originally sealed the secure, steel-lined room in Arkham where all confiscated materials from the inmates was kept. The door had been opened and from inside there was the sound a single person retrieving and putting on a metal suit. The figure stepped from the room and into the slightly flickering lights. Viktor von Doom flexed the fingers of his metal gloves, satisfied with the familiar weight of the titanium-alloy battle suit. “He actually pulled it off,” Doom mused, thinking of how quickly the Joker seemed to have taken control of the Asylum from the guards and warden and put it in the hands of the inmates and patients.
Since all the cells had been opened at once, it had been rather simple for Doom to slip through the crowds of crazies attacking Arkham’s guards and make his way to the sealed room where they had taken his things. Now that he had retrieved his battle suit, Doom figured the next best step would be to locate the Joker and figure out just what the clown’s aim was in all this.

Cheetah wasn’t really one to take things slow. She had never been the most patient person on the planet, and that wasn’t about to change. She’d known that eventually the Joker would get loose. He always did. There had been bets among the workers when he’d do it, for Heaven’s Sake! Cheetah pondered the meaning of the phrase ‘for Heaven’s Sake’ as she easily slid the ruined straight jacket off. Her mother had used to say that when she was a little girl and was exasperated by something. “For Heaven’s Sake, Mini, throw that snake away! It’s poisonous!”
Cheetah chuckled to herself as she ripped the door of her cell off its hinges and threw it to the side. Good memories. What few she could recall. She strode down the hall ripping off the white clothes they had forced her to wear. They were nasty, funny smelling things. They’d had to give her an injection to knock her out before they could get them on her. She noticed a few other crazies had jumped out of their cells and were destroying things around them. Only one of them dared to whistle at her as she walked past naked. That one had his face slammed into the cement wall, his nose a broken, bloody mess. None of the others even looked at her.
She managed to get to the room where they kept all the confiscated equipment from the ‘villains’. She could see that Dr. Doom had already gotten his gear. He probably worked faster than her, since he must have been counting on this for a while. Cheetah just guessed.
Her locker stood in the corner of the room. The door was torn open, and the few belongings inside were pulled out. Her black vest, her black pants with the cheetah print along the inside of the legs and thighs. She briefly considered bringing the boots with her, but she moved faster without them really. And if those pitiful heroes showed up (which they were bound to) she’d need the speed. She considered her options as she dressed, and decided to continue her original plan.
The Fated Emerald, a huge jewel that was discovered in the mines of Brazil. It was said to belong to an ancient queen of an Amazonian tribe of women, who gave to her favored lover. Something along those lines anyway. It was enough to get her interested in it at any rate. She had been trying to steal it from the original museum in Rio de Janeiro, when, of course, some damn hero had ambushed her and packed her off to Arkham. Four months of hell. She looked at herself in a long mirror they had in the room. Her normally skin tight clothes hung loose on her emaciated frame. She pulled the vest off again and she could see her ribs clearly. Wincing she moved her fingers over the bone ridges. It didn’t hurt, but the last time she had been this starved was after her parents were murdered. The memories were what caused the pain.
But she finished reminiscing and headed to the door. There were things to do and little time to do it in. “I wonder who would have directions for me…”
Batman stared into the Asylum from the roof top adjacent to it. He was tired of playing this game with Joker. The continuous back and forth of catching him only to have him escape again.
Batman jumped down onto a fire escape and quickly climbed down. He landed a few yards from the Asylum and walked over to commissioner Gordon. "What's going on now Gordon," Batman said in a raspy voice, even though he already knew; there was one reason why Batman was ever called to Arkham, and that was Joker. Gordon quickly turned around, spilling some coffee onto his shirt. He reached into his pocket, pulled out a napkin and started wiping it off
"Damn it, I just bought this," He muttered. He looked up at Batman and said, "Joker's escaped again, he says he's letting the inmates go. Tony's on his way now."
Right after Gordon finished Batman heard something coming from behind him, afterburners, probably from Tony's suit. Batman turned around just in time to see him touch down. Tony immediately walked up to Gordon and began asking questions.
As Tony talked to Gordon Batman saw the first "hero" come. The Comedian, Batman had already read about him. He sometimes seemed to show little regard for human life, and the weapons he had meant that there were going to be more than a few casualties.
Soon after The Comedian arrived another hero entered the scene. Deadpool, a mercenary, which meant even more casualties. He was also out of his mind, maybe like Joker, but, he was on their side now so Batman had to deal with it.
Lastly came Wolverine and Rouge. They would be valuable here, especially wolverine who was nearly indestructible.
Once they were assembled Iron Man spoke up. He told each of them where to go, what to do and who they were going with. "Shame, I hoped I would do most of my work alone" Batman thought, "Well, at least I get stuck with Tony." Tony approached Batman and said, "Let's go, Batty." Batman just smirked and began walking next to him. "So, What's our point of entry?"

"Looks like we got the fun sector eh? Triple Max... I never do get the easy jobs do I?" Wolverine grumbled to Rogue as he watched the others break off into their according groups.
As soon as he said the elctro-gates buzzed off and allowed him to enter into the Triple Max prison area. Immediately he could start to hear the clamor of escaping loonies and homicidal maniacs. He looked back for a second to make sure Rogue was trailing behind him.
"So, do we know who this guys is? Frank Castsle? In my opinion if he got stuck in this hell-hole he probably belongs here... oh well. Let's go get him..."
Wolverine proceeded down the musty halls of the Triple Max security prison. The rapping of gnarled fingernails on cold steel filled the halls as the rest of the inmates awaited their freedom. Wolverine glared into the port-hole windows of each cell, looking for Castle.
"Rogue, I'm more than certain you can handle yourself. Let's split up, it might make this faster. If you need any help just hollar. I can hear your echo like none other in these halls," stated Wolverine impatiently.
"What if you need help Logan?" inquired Rogue sweetly.
"I... I won't need help." Wolverine turned his head away and proceeded down the halls alone.

Rogue walked silently threw the hall of the Triple max, "Just great, we're suppose to be a team , logan, but no you gotta go be Mr.Incredible." Rogue said to herself as she looked into each and every cell. A few of the cell mates tried to grab at her and kept making catcalls towards her. Rogue got pretty tired of the cat calls real quick, "I swear you guys if I hear one more cat call, I'm gonna come through these bars and hurt you. i promise."
After her threat was heard, Rogue heard someone behind her make a slight annoying cat call, "Hey baby why don't you send some threats my way." Rogue turned around, and faced one of the cell doors. The prisoner who sent the cat call was just some forety year old balding, beer gut loon. Rogue took one look at him and decided it wasn't worth it.

Deadpool was listening intently to Mr. Stark's briefing planning out every step of this most dangerous mission to keep the world safe from the evil that lies deep within Arkem.
"I see a lovely bunch of coconuts diddly, diddly, da, da, do. White ones, brown ones, some as big as my arm. Bouncy ones, flouncy ones, all with my reach."
"You've got to be kidding me."
"What? The awesome hero says with innocence."
"Have you been paying attention to Mr. Stark at all?"
"Of course I have to go with the Medical wing to rescue the Comedian in the Doctors. But if he's already in the Doctors I don't see how I can save him."
"You are really stupid."
"The angry over head voice says with disgust. See I can act like a smartie pants too."
"Just go with the Comedian and rescue the Doctors in the Medical wing."
"I'm pretty sure it was the way I said it but whatever I'm getting paid."
"Just...go." Without further ado Deadpool hitches up his belt and teleports into the Asylum.
"Am I forgetting something? The Hero asks himself tapping his chin. Oh yeah gum!" He reaches into his belt and pulls out the pack of Big Red and pops two pieces into his mouth sliding his mask back into place. returning the gum to his belt Deadpool marches into the madness of the Asylum shooting random cells not wondering if he kills anyone or not.,
Myx smiled as he watched the heroes enter the asylum. He was happy that one of his old “friends” had shown up to the party. Although Batman wasn’t nearly as much fun to toy with as Superman was, still it was more fun to pull his pranks on the people he knew. Not only that, with Batman on the scene, it would probably mean that the so called villains inside, would be people he knew as well. Myx continued to smile as he watched the last of the heroes enter and then disappeared.
Myx appeared inside the asylum, far from the entrance. He had teleported himself to the high security wing where the worst kind of villains were housed. Inmates were running about on a spree of wanton destruction and a myriad of possibilities opened up to him. He floated down the halls in search of someone else he recognized. He rounded a corner and could see someone in a room. Someone with green hair. Myx floated into the room and moved up behind the man, who was obviously the Joker.
“Quite the party, I must say. Though I would expect nothing less from the crown prince of crime,” Myx paused to take a haul off his cigar. Exhaling the smoke, he continued. “You know, with the heroes who have just made their way inside, I was wondering if perhaps my brand of comedy could be useful to you.”

Wolverine shuffled through the eery halls of the Asylum, looking for Frank Castle. The screams started to die down as Wolverine approached a rusty cell at the end of the corridor.
"I'm gonna guess that this is it," Wolverine muttered to himself.
He approached the small porthole window and peered in. Inside sat a gloomy looking man in a straight jacket. His black hair was damp with sweat and his rippling muscles bulged inside the jacket.
"Hey, bub! You Castle?" Wolverine shouted at the door.
The man did not move or look up. Wolverine grumbled to himself and banged the door harshly. The pounding of his metal bones against the heavy door echoed throughout the halls. The prisoner looked up with his piercing blue eyes.
"Come on! I'm here to get you out. Joker's running loose and apparently the best remedy for a loon is another one. So let's go!" Wolverine said in an irritated tone.
The man stood up and walked over to the door and stared at Wolverine. Then glanced at the door.
"Back up, bub," said Wolverine. With a wince, Wolverine protruded his adamantium claws. They shined in the dull light. With two sharp motions he stabbed through the solid metal door and raked his claws downwards, making three long slashes across the locks on the front of the door. The door creaked open and out stepped Castle.
"Ok, no funny business," Wolverine sneered at the prisoner as he slashed the jacket's bindings, freeing Frank Castle.
Suddenly, over the intercom came the teasing voice of the Joker: "OOHHHHHHhh well done wolf man! You freed the Punisher! Now I got a little Punishment for both of you! HEHEHEEEEEHAAAAHEEAAAUUUHOOOO!!!!"
Just as soon as this happened, every door holding a prisoner unlocked. Twisted screams of joy and laughter filled the hallways. Shadows of murderes, rapists, serial killers and other deranged forms of humanity spewed from the cells, hungry for blood.
"Ok, Frank, looks like this will be a party," said Wolverine.
Wolverine started slowly down the corridor but then glancd back. He glmipsed Castle running for the armory. Wolverine sprinted down the corridor after him, prisoners and killers chasing him in hot pursuit. He glimpsed Frank's heavy boots turning around a corner. Soon shrieks came out of the armory room, followed by the limp bodies of three frazzled looking prisoners. As Wolverine rounded the corner he saw The Punisher grabbing all manner of weapons from the lockers and placing them in his confiscated armor.
"Got enough stuff there bub? It's only one corridor!" Joked Wolverine.
Punisher glared at Wolverine saying, "You can never kill 'em enough. Plus, all you bring to the fight is a few knives."
"Well, you certainly are in for a surprise then," taunted Wolverine as his glistening claws shot from his fists. "I can do more than you think, bub. Well, there are about a hundred crazies between here and that door so stay low, watch your corners, and try not to get killed."
"I can do more than you think, BUB!" Retorted Punisher.
Cries of lauhgter and the desire to tear flesh from bone filled the air. The crazies turned the corner. Wolverine and Punisher looked at each other and smiled slightly. Punisher pulled out a gun, cocked it and took aim. Wolverine slashed his claws together, making sparks shower the space in front of them, and he slowly stepped forwards towards the onslaught.

"OOHHHHHHhh well done wolf man! You freed the Punisher! Now I got a little Punishment for both of you! HEHEHEEEEEHAAAAHEEAAAUUUHOOOO!!!!"
She froze as she heard the Joker laugh, and open the cell doors, looking behind her, she saw all types of criminals give an evil glare, and begin to approach her, like a lion stalking a zebra.
"Oh great, first a comedian, now criminals, whats next the king?" Rogue yelled loudly, as she begin to walk backwards, looking the criminals in the eyes, seeing which one may strike first. Rogue yelled over her shoulder, "Logan! You better have found that Frank guy and be coming back to help me, or I'm gonna kick your ass!"

The Joker watched in twisted glee as the Punisher and Wolverine did what they did best. It was so EXCITING!!! The green-haired maniac bounced up and down in his chair as he watched the security camera feeds.
"HEHEHEEEE... I like my job. I LIKE IT!"
The Punisher, having finished donning his body armor, turned around and whipped out two Mp5 submaching guns from one of the several evidence crated with his name on it. The mad vigulante roared and he pulled both triggers, the muzzle flashes stobe-lighting the room and cutting a group of charging maniacs down to size. He kept on firing until the clips were empty. Holstering the guns on his back, Frank picked up a dead guard's SPAS shotgun and cocked it with a subtle upward twist at the corners of his mouth.
"Hey fluffy, grab the rest of my gear.... anything that shoots or goes boom. Simple enough for that metal skull of yours?" Castle retorted before firing a spread from the SPAS, sneding an inmate down for the count. Three more of the loons charged, each being felled by a bang. With the shotgun out, Castle tossed it to the ground. When he looked at his targets, they were still moving, not a wound on them but a nasty bruise of a welt.
"God damn beanbag rounds...." Walking over to the closent inmate, the Punisher stomped on his head with enough force to warp the shape of his skull with a gut-churning crunch. The other two were disposed of in a similar manner, the lastm having gotten up to attack again, had his arm broken and the protruding bone jammed in his eye. All was quiet except for someone yelling for help a little ways away. Dashing to don the rest of his arsenal; his Knight 500 combat revolver, his two berrettas, his two colt 45 Springfield's, his M4 short barrel carbine with a fixed grenade launcher, tear gas, frag grenades, flashbangs, and enough ammo for the entire family, the Punisher was ready to go.
"I'm tired of waiting for you. Someone has to punish the corrupt."

In no time at all even with all the half naked female crazies running around Deadpool found his way to the medical wing. He stopped in front of a heavy white door with a red cross painted on the front.
"Darn another broom closest."
"What! since when have broom closest have red crosses on the door?"
"That's the way it is at my house Blind Al painted them on cause I told her that was the exit and if she did that I'd let her go."
"Lord give me strength."
"Oooooo you think he can give me a pony while he's at it!?"
"How did I get stuck in your head?"
"What makes you think I'm not trapped in your head?????"
"You are such a....grrr just knock on the door and rescue the Doctors."
"Okie dokey artichoke." With a cough Deadpool pounds on the door.
"Hello any hot scared nurses in there?" After a moment of silence a unbelieving female voice says.
"One."
"Good, did the crazies rip all your clothes off miss?" He says hopefully after another silence the same voice says.
"Will that make you rescue us any faster?"
"Maybe, but then you're coming home with me." Another long silence then some whispering.
"Well no b..but I'll give you a kiss." The Hero thinks for a time then kicks the door in and strikes a manly pose.
"Ok but she's the only one allowed to kiss me." He looks around there's about 6 people huddled behind a pile of furniture. 3 men, 2 women and 1 babe. He teleports to the babe and wraps his arm around her waist then teleports into the hall leaving the rest of the Doctors stunned.
"Did you forget something stupid?"
"Right gum all this rescuing gives me bad breath."
THE OTHER DOCTORS!!!!!!"
"But she's the only hot one."
"You won't get paid then."
"Oh right." He returns to the room and motions with his hands.
"Come on grab your scalpels and lets move."
With the Doctors behind him Deadpool hears the Joker's message and as the cages open and all the crazies get free our hero does the only thing he can do.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHH WOMEN AND DEADPOOL FIRST!" He runs down the corridor leaving the Doctors to themselves.
"No payment Deadpool."
"Damn you greed." Returning to the Docs he draws his HK's and creates a funnel of death in the hall as the crazies attack.
Myx hovered in the air next to the Joker watching the cameras. He watched the carnage being wrought by Punisher and Wolverine. They both seemed to be a bit too intent on destruction to thoroughly appreciate the artistic approach that Myx applied to his craft. His gaze fell on the one known as Deadpool. He seemed to be virtually unstoppable and was about to spoil part of Joker’s game. And he couldn’t let that happen. Not so soon after the party had started.
Myx turned invisible and teleported to where Deadpool was freeing the imprisoned doctors. Bodies littered the hallway as he cut them down with ease. As the doctors hurriedly exited the room, Myx caused a barred steel gate to appear in the hallway, blocking their escape route. Myx smiled when he saw the confused and panicked looks on their daces. Turning visible, he floated over to the bars and looked at each of the doctors.
“You know, there's no way out this way.” Myx snickered a little and shifted his gaze to Deadpool.
“You know, you really should have more manners and a sense of etiquette. After all the trouble our host went to preparing this party, it would be a shame if any of the guests left early.” Myx smiled wickedly at Deadpool and took a long drag off his cigar.

As he killed the last crazy he sheathed his smoking guns and followed the Docs to the exit.
"Hey why'd they stop angry over head voice?"
"I don't know look like the doors barred."
"Oh then I better go ask for it's keys so it can't drive home."
"No barred as in something’s locked it."
"Oh think I can ask for it's keys anyway might have a nice car."
"Just go see what the problem is!" Pushing his way past the prisoners he looks at the strange little green man with a cigar.
"Oh wow it's a Leprechaun. I didn't know that could fly! If I catch you do I get three wishes or your pot of gold?!" For the first time the Hero listened to the little green man talk.
"How is this a party? You totally skimped on the little finger sandwiches, and I yet to see any bikini clad bunny girls running around. This is no party so after I take that hot nurse back to my house I'm coming for your pot of gold little Leprechaun." Pulling all of the Doctors close he hits his teleport belt and exits the Asylum.

Cheetah growled with impatience as the criminals flooded the halls that led to her exit. They all stayed out of her way of course. The last time someone had tried to bother her she ripped their face off, which probably contributed to her getting stuck in the Looney Section.
But she was hungry AND irritated now, and no one would trouble her unless they wanted to die. Still, the fact that the Joker had let loose all the inmates meant that the heroes of Gotham (and probably elsewhere) would soon be arriving to clean up the mess. Cheetah planned to be far away by then, but if she couldn’t get out in time and she was caught, she wouldn’t see the light of day in a long time. She had no option but to do her best and get out now.
A tired sigh escaped her lips as she rolled her head on her shoulders. “I would have preferred to do this quietly…” She leaned down into a runner’s stance, her lips pulled back in a semi-snarl. “I’ve wanted to do this for ages…”
The inmates who recalled this moment later would say that she was there one moment, and the next she was gone with only a wind kicking up behind her.
Cheetah dashed through the halls, ignoring the smells and sights, searching only for an exit that she could get to without being noticed. It was hard to find one that would be inconspicuous enough to use without a hero somewhere noticing, but hopefully…
A thought occurred to her, and a grin crossed her mouth. There was a fire escape on the third floor, in the back area where no one really went. It was true the fire alarm would go out through the whole building, but then again, a fire would be the least of the people’s worries. With a quick recalculation of course, she was at the door in a moment. As she thought, there was no one on the third floor anymore, as most of them were on the first and second.
There were a few doors and a little security in her way, but Cheetah quickly disposed of them. She always managed to get through things, especially when she was willing to spill a little blood and break things. With a kick the final door was open, the alarm was off, and Cheetah was scot free. She laughed to herself as she ran off, loving the feel of the wind rushing around her. There was nothing that could catch her now; she could outrun bullets at this speed.
Her stomach growled. “But not hunger…” she muttered to herself. She ran far away enough where she would be able to stay hidden from the police and then proceeded to look for something she could use. There it was… a butcher shop, full of all sorts of food. It was closed which suited her fine. Ripping the doors off the hinges was easy enough, and quite worth it to get the food. Raw steaks, chicken, ducks, turkeys, all there and delicious. Cheetah happily grabbed armfuls of the stuff , set it on the counter, and began to feast making plenty of delighted purrs and growls as she did.
