Forhilnor, a lush world with bountiful resources and a variety of animal life. it is located in the Centora System in the outer rim regions of the Milky way galaxy. it has been untouched by galactic civilizations for many millennia. that however, will soon change for better or worse.
Governments, Corporations and other Organizations across the galaxy have recently taken an interest in the planet and have sent their own task forces to claim Forhilnor. this sparked conflict among the factions and resulted in an increase of hostilities that almost led to galactic war. but in a meeting of the United Planets, a proposal was made to the warring factions.

The war would not be fought and resolved across the milky way. but on the world of Forhilnor. the factions would deploy their forces on the planet and fight one another for control. whoever remains dominate would not only win control over the planet, but the entire Centora System itself.

The year is now 2457 of the Human Calendar. six years since the Forhilnor Campaign had begun. the participating factions have struggled fiercely over the planet, in an almost never ending cycle of violence, warfare and death. however, as the armies continue the slaughter, they will soon discover that they are not the only sentient beings on Forhilnor. and retaliation is eminent.

I hope this is to your liking. Just tell me if anything needs changing. I'm a tiny bit iffy on the troop numbers I put though.


Faction Name: United Systems Alliance
Race(s): Atlanians, Tualaghi and Volarians
Military Unit Name: 66th Vanguard
Military Strength Sent: 10,000 troops, mainly commandos from the Volarian Republic, 2 entire armoured divisions, consisting of ten tanks, 20 armoured troop assault transports and one highly experimental mobile base crawler, 10 air wing sqaudrons, consisting mainly of fighters and bombers, about 500 craft. They do have two frigates and a command battlecruiser orbiting the planet, but this was just to get the troops there, they are holding high orbit around the moon.
Force Commander: High Commandant Zap'alinda of the Tualaghi Tribal Fleet. Fleet Admiral Wolf Xalian of the Atlanian Empire, Fleet Admiral Kalnas of the Volarian Republic and High Commandant Sabre Xalian of the Jahovian Defence Agency (the Alliance's elite fighting force) Are ont he ships orbiting the moon.
Top Officers: High Commandant Zap'alinda-Commanding officer of the 66th Vanguard.
1st Lieutenant Emerald Silknam-Armoured division commander, head of the forward armour squad in charge of holding the frontline.
Warrant Officers Hailie Nikalay and Tion Xalian-Squaron leaders, in charge of tactical bombings and interceptions, and some escort duties.
Military Tactics: They always entrench thier troops on the front lines with the tanks behind them, althought the tanks seem vaulnerable they are in fact heavily shielded. After sitting and letting the enemy throw themselves against the perverbial shield wall they are ordered to attack, with the base crawler joining in the full force charge, it's weapons powered up at the cost of it's shields. The bombers and fighters are rarely at the front lines, they always go out to harass the enemy, unless they are back at the base crawler.
Reason for War: New civilian colonies are needed, as well as some research and production facilities. They also hope this will serve as a forward base or VIP fall back position in the event of a cataclismic problem.

Military Tactics: The Yethar focus on heavy assault and combined arms tactics, and in some cases, Blitzkrieg. overwhelming the enemy with greater numbers and frightening war machines to intimidate and demoralize.
Reason for War: Assimilation. the Supreme Intellect, the leader of the Collective, seeks to become a force for the galaxy to fear. if they were to conquer the planet, they would strip it of it's life and resources, making it an example to the Collective's enemies.

Legionnaire MKII's are the grunt units for the Collective. These units are heavily equipped and are normally found in groups of two or more. they are a recent addition in the Collective's army as a replacement of the aging though still serving MKI's.

Once a common sight in Collective Space, the MKI's were the main front-line units. these aging droids have been replaced by the more agile and advanced MKII's. though they still remain in service, however see very little combat and are now tasked as guards and sentries.


Jackals

The Jackal's are the shock troops of the Collective. they are the more deadly infantry models of the Collective's Army. they are armed with two back energy cannons, and three energy claws for melee combat.


Subjugator Combat Walker

Subjugators are the all-terrain combat walkers of the Collective's army. Large assault units, Subjugators can traverse uneven terrain more easily than most other collective units. The Subjugator was designed not only to destroy, but to intimidate and scare the enemy beforehand. This piece of machinery is the last thing that many see.


Dominator Heavy Walker

Dominators are more heavy and bulky variants of the Subjugator. although the Dominators lack speed of the infantry or lighter vehicles, they remains a force to be reckoned with.


Imp Scout Walker

The Imp is a light reconnaissance vehicle designed primarily as a scout platform. However, its increased strength and firepower in battle has allowed this agile walker to take on vehicles much larger than it.


Ravager Hounds

The attack dogs of the Collective. Ravager Hounds have been built to mimic dog-like behavior when they attack a target, as well as added intelligence and ranged weaponry. they usually act as the scouts and move in pack of three or alone.

Reavers are the Collective's duel-purpose units. taking on roles such as gunship when in air mode, providing support by diving in the combat zone and firing either laser weapons or missiles. it can also serve as a walker when acting as ground support.


Brutes

Brutes are one of the larger and more dangerous forms of the Collective's infantry units, frequently encountered wherever there is a notable concentration of yethar troops. They are deployed much like shock troops and should be dealt with caution. they are designed much like the old legionnaire models such as being armed with two cannons in where their hands would be.


Centurions

As the name suggests, Centurions are analogous with Officers in other military forces. They typically command a single starship, military outposts and can command hundreds of troops. These Androids are more intelligent than standard infantry units. They have advanced combat-analysis software and are very intelligent.

However, when in the presence of higher ranking Yethar, Centurions in groups can take heavy infantry roles.


Crimson Elite

The Crimson Elite are modified versions of the Centurions. They are an more evolved breed, the Crimson Elites are smarter and more ruthless than their simplistic brethren, capable of simulating the worst of human emotions like hatred and anger. they serve as the General's Personal Guard along with his lieutenants.

Military Tactics: The Frontier group differs from the normal Salusian method of heavy assault infantry by incorporating long-range scouts (Rangers), armor support, and even spies and assassins (Hunters). The two Frontier armor divisions guarantee support and transport for the infantry and the mobile fortress sports both anti-ground and air defense as well as several fighter squadrons.

Reason for War: Expansion, resource gathering, and weapon testing. The Salusian high command wishes to find out just how valuable a resource pot Forhilnor is and to test the capabilities of the new mobile fortress.

Ok, I go back on saying this isn't my type of role-play.

Faction Name: The New Imperial Telka Empire.

Race(s):
The Telka:
A race of intelligent bird creatures from the planets Telkanna Prime, Telkanna Minor and Telkanna Major.

They stand about 4ft high, have crimson coloured plumage, with a crest of half a dozen bright yellow feathers on their head, and they have wicked talons on the ends of their long legs, and beady yellow eyes. Their wing span is 5ft and the each wing has one poison containing claw on the front, bony part. Their talons/claws also contain a deadly poison, and are made of a unknown material which can rip through titanium.

These days their eyes are normally cyberneticly altered to work also as computer monitors, and other implants allow for mental connections to computer systems. Armour is stormed as a compact metal pack with sits on the beings back, and can be deployed at any type via a mental command.

The Mallameniums:
The Mallameniums are a rare species, native to Telkanna Prime. They are Humanoid, and look remarkably like humans, besides their black or red eyes, fangs, claws, super-human strength, and the total lack of females in their race. There has not been a female Mallamenium for almost a thousand years, and the race is slowly dieing out... the only way they can reproduce is by interbreeding with other races, and since most races aren't compatible... you get the picture.

Imperial Triton Force 3.

Military Strength Sent:
26,500 infantry, 1 battleship, 500 aircraft, 100 ground vehicles, 1 Mobile HQ, 25 transports.

5,000 Shadow Wraiths
Lightly armed hand-to-hand combat Telka units, Only weapons are two small laser cannons, installed on shoulders of soldier, Also equipped with radar jamming devices, light armour and invisibility shielding tech (Allowing for complete invisibility of the unit for up to 2 hours at a time).

20,000 Hercules Androids
Lightly armed humanoid Android units, which stand about 7ft tall, designed to take the place of normal infantry, Armed with semi-automatic 20 shot laser shotgun, fully-automatic laser machine gun (400 rounds a minute). Also equipped with medium-grade armour.

1,000 Micro-Droids
Lightly armed arachnoid robot units, which stand about 1/2 a foot tall, designed for assassinations, spy missions and information gathering. Armed with one medium laser cannon (positioned in front), and two small laser machine guns (positioned on sides). Also equipped with EMP, Automatic security system hacker device, radar jamming equipment, and self-destruct feature.

500 Tron Heavy Androids:
Heavily armed androids, which stand about 10ft tall, designed for heavy infantry assaults. Armed with two medium laser cannons (positioned on shoulders), two fully-automatic laser machine guns (firing 500 rounds a minute), and heavy armour.

20 Hex Tanks:
Heavily armed ground tanks, weighing in at 5 ton and stretching to 20ft long, designed to stay in one position and fire upon enemy from afar. Armed with one high-power laser cannon, four fully-automatic laser machine guns, two medium-power laser cannons, and heavy armour.

80 Termite Tanks:
Medium-to-low armed ground tanks, weighing in at 3 ton, and stretching to 10ft long, designed for quick hit-and-run attacks. Armed with one high-power laser cannon, 2 fully-automatic laser machine guns and one low power laser cannon. Equipped with light armour.

The Trismo
The unit drop ship for operations on Forhilnor. The ex-flagship of the Telka Navy, it is still one of the most powerful battleships the Telka own. It can transport 30,000 troops, and 1,000 aircraft. Equipped with 2 rail guns, two dozen light laser cannons, radar jamming equipment, light shielding tech, and heavy armour. Currently in high orbit above the planet.

100 Dead Dangerous Dagger Bombers (DDD Bomber):
Lightly armed stealth bomber aircraft, designed for use in hit-and-run bombings. Armed with 30 light bombs, 3 heavy anti-matter bombs, and two laser machine guns.

400 Triumphant Song Bombers:
Heavily armed bomber aircraft, designed for use in heavy bombardments. Armed with 100 light bombs, 30 heavy anti-matter bombs, two laser machine guns, and one light laser cannon.

Mobile Operation HQ:
The huge HQ of Telka operations on Forhilnor. About the size of small town, it houses the Generals and acts as the center of operations. Contains one huge rail-gun, and hundreds of internal laser machine guns, as part of the security.

20 Whizzer Transport Vehicles:
Lightly armed transport vehicle, designed for transporting couriers. Armed with 4 laser machine guns, medium armour and radar jamming equipment.

5 Tribe Transports:
Heavily armed unit transport, designed for transporting large numbers of infantry and tanks. Armed with 4 medium laser cannons, and 10 laser machine guns. Equipped with radar jamming equipment, heavy armour, and invisibility stealth tech (Same technology as used on Shadow Wraiths).

Force Commander:
High-commander Lejon Strazvent - High-commander of Imperial Triton Force 3 and second in line for the throne of the New Imperial Telka Empire.

Top Officers:
Under-Commander Janita Hades - 1st Under Commander of the Imperial Triton Force 3. She has received the Black Star (Highest award for heroic actions) and the Imperial Strazvent Award (Highest award for courage). Graduate of the Jasterson Royal Military Academy, and winner of the Lord Jasterson Scholarship. All in all, one of the best officers in the entire Empire's army.

Lieutenant Jason Barkley - Chief-Adviser to the High-Commander and Under-Commander, he is a Mallamenium. Graduated from the Mallamenium Military Academy, he has had to struggle to get anywhere in the army because of his species.

Military Tactics:
The Telka normally attack with the Shadow Wraith's first, taking out the first enemy lines before they know what hit them. They then send in the Hercules Androids and the Tron Androids, while firing deep in to the camp with the Hex Tanks.

Reason for War: The Telkanna system is overloaded, and more colony's are needed. Already many of the Telka live on huge space stations, asteroid colonies and all the Telkanna planets are totally built up, and resources are quickly running out. Loosing this war could mean the end of the Telka species.

Greater Tusk Empire of Forhilnor


The Forhiln are the natives of the land and know well of every inch of it. Although not the brightest of creatures, they make do with their pride-filled visions of appeasing their many Gods. It is believed that different parts of the planet are home to the various Gods.

Once the aliens swept in on one summer day, the Forhiln found the intruder to be a challenge from above. Much of the population went into hiding when the first shot was fired from the aliens. Since then, the enemy has been monitored by eyes all over. Understanding their tactics, the Forhilns prepare their seemingly obsolete armaments in reprisal for the challenge.

The Forhiln are known for their amazing strength which allows them to lift and break objects that a strong human would need assistance with. Where they lack in ballistic skills, they make up for close combat with weapons capable of ripping open at ease. Their weapons cache consists of large caliber machineguns, usually too heavy for a typical human to carry. Rockets are a second favorite as things that go boom generally make the Forhiln excited.

Their machines of war are covered in thick sheets of metal and are hydraulic driven. The type ranges from heavy walkers, fast speed bikes and buggies, to heavy tanks carrying a large amount of firepower. However, they lack a great amount in the latter as there are only ten given to each company.

The strengths of the culture are their fearlessness and barbaric strategies, pain resistance, strength, and their overzealous pride as well as a great interest in skull crushing and killing.
The weaknesses measure to be their lack of technology and intelligence.

They represent the main fighting force, the sword of the Forhiln empire.


The planet is their home base and they have an approximate population of eight billion. However, only about five billion are prepared for war.

Military Tactics:
Overwhelming odds is the Forhiln way of war and has been so since the dawn.
Depending on the situation, if the enemy is dug in, then the footsloggers and berzerkers run in to clear it. If enemy tanks are near, the big guns are brought out to devastate the land along with the squiggoth.
The bikes and buggies are used to outflank the enemy so the footsloggers can get into the brawl.


Reason for War:
The faction seeks to protect the planet it has lived for some great time and will banish the invaders from their planet.

Bio: Karsak was born amongst his brethren, but was orginally weaker than them. The young ork was phyisically frail, and most of the others thought him simply to be a big grot. But, through a series of viscious brawls, training, and backstabbing, Karsak became what he aspired to be, a Boy. The other still despised him though, and often tried to 'put im in 'iz place'. Karsak, being rather opportunistic for an ork, managed to prove his mettle to his entire clan again and again. In the process, he began beating the other Boyz into submission. Eventually, he atained the rank of Nob.

Continuing to grow in size as time when on, Karsak found he had a certain fascination with putting orcs back together... especially taking them apart. His Warboss had a problem with Karsak mutilating his Boyz however, and confronted the still young ork. The Boyz stood by grinning, some of them missing a limb from Karsak's experiments. What ensued was a vicious brawl. Karsak, while only having a knife and his body, managed to overcome the Warboss. The others immeadiately began squabbling over who was going to be the next Warboss, until Karsak hefted the former Warboss's shoota and shot a few of them.

Karsak, now the head of his own tribe, immeadiately went about re-organizing it. While it mostly invovled knocking heads together and knocking out a fortune of teef, it showed suprising initiative for an ok, especially one so hot headed. With the teef he had collected, Karsak equipped himself in 'state of the art' (for orks) gear. Inevitably, as orcs do, he grew again and became even larger than the previous Warboss. He did keep his 'medical' habits however, and now his entire following is equipped with various upgrades, significant improving their effectivenes. He has even recruited a number of meks for the prupose of building custom weapons for him to attach to his Mob.

Other: Karsak is clad in Mega Armor, which inludes a Big Shoota, cybernetics, back ups systems for the organs, a power claw, and various equipment for his medical work. Part of his head has been replaced with cybernetics aswell, allowing him to see futher than those around him.
