Mokai, a world where co-existence of technology and magic is possible. once an ancient war was waged between the Mokai Knights, an Order of warrior magi that were once the Peacekeepers that kept order in the world. however they were not immune to corruption.
An evil entity simply known as the Dark One had took hold of a Mokai Temple and it's inhabitants in the far off land of Ormagoden. a chain of events would soon lead to a civil war that destroyed empires, nations and killed untold millions of innocents.
After a century of warfare. the Mokai Order and the Dark One's followers, the Dark Covenant, had fought the final battle on where it all began. the deadlands of Ormagoden. No one knows but the Master Sages and survivors truly know of the outcome. all that is known is the Dark One was defeated and banished to the Nemesis Void, a realm of pure chaos, and pure evil. the Covenant was scattered and all but destroyed from constant infighting.
Thousands of years later. the threat of the Dark One and the Dark Covenant have faded away. the Mokai Knights in the time being have resumed their roles as peacekeepers of the world. however, conflict has recently plagued Mokai. thanks in part to a resurgent Dark Covenant. the Dark Mokai Knights have creep in their corrupting influence into dozens of nations, mustering the strength to finally challenge the Mokai Order.
Now aware of the threat. the free nations of mokai now prepare for the coming world war, along with the Order, leading the free armies at the front lines.
However...as the war begins....the veil between Mokai and the Void grows weaker and weaker. the Dark One's return is eminent.
