Forhilnor, a lush world with bountiful resources and a variety of animal life. it is located in the Centora System in the outer rim regions of the Milky way galaxy. it has been untouched by galactic civilizations for many millennia. that however, will soon change for better or worse.
Governments and Corporations across the galaxy have recently taken an interest in the planet and have sent their own task forces to claim Forhilnor. this sparked conflict among the factions and resulted in an increase of hostilities that almost led to galactic war. but in meeting of the United Planets, a proposal was made to the warring factions.

The war would not be fought and resolved across the milky way. but on the world of Forhilnor. the factions would deploy their forces on the planet and fight one another for control. whoever remains dominate would not only win control over the planet, but the entire Centora System itself.

The year is now 2457 by the Earth Calendar. four years since the Forhilnor Campaign had begun. the participating factions have struggled fiercely over the planet, in an almost never ending cycle of violence, warfare and death. however, as the armies fight one another, they will soon find out that they are not the only sentient beings on Forhilnor. and retaliation is eminent.

Bio: Grew up in a small village with other Glace. She has been learning how to fight ever since she could walk. This was by her own request and she usually spent most of her free time improoving her fighting skills. Things were rather peaceful for her since the village was hidden away in one of the few places where the war was not taking place. However when she turned fourteen she and the village had to move because the war had began to reach the village and all the resources were dimishing. The village elders thought it would be best if everyone in the village spread out and go thier own ways so Amora left with her parents. Her parents were stubborn so they stayed in the area the village used to be in because they didn't wish to abandon thier homeland. After about six months they were forced to leave because of food shortages. Life was very hard after that. They were always on the move and because they weren't part of the war, they always tried to stay away from it.

When Amora was sixteen she and her parents were staying an abandoned house. Like usual they were preparing to move soon so both her mother and father were out gathering more food. Amora stayed in the house. But this time it took longer than usual for her parents to return. When she decided that something was wrong Amora left the house and began to search for her parents. She found them dieing by a road. It turns out that a soldier mistook them for their enemy so they shot at them. After that Amora was alone.

Ever since then she has traveled alone, only bringing necesities with her (including the necklace her mother gave her). She is convinced that the natives of Forhilnor should be left with the planet and that every other person from another planet should leave. She has grown rather cold, and doesn't hesitate to kill any soldier that pisses her off.

Other: Glace greatly resemble humans, but have many differences. They are quite fast and great senses which they usually use for finding prey. They also have great healing abilities. They are a peaceful race who usually only attack when provoked. They chose to llive in small groups away from other civilizations and live off of the land. There used to many of them, but because of the war they are a now very rare.

Alright, I'm final got my faction up.

Faction Name: New Human Empire
Race(s):WIP

Methuselah

The Methuselah were descendants of human colonists that ventured into the outer rim regions two hundred years ago. the colony ship, New Terra, carried over 700,000 humans to a planet in the Helghi System to a earth-like world of which they named after the colony ship.

For the next few decades the colonists slowly noticed some changes in them. such as prolonged lifespan, superior strength, and enhanced speed. as well as healing and regeneration abilities. and to their shock that they soon acquired the taste for blood from the native wild life.

Soon deaths were reported from prolonged exposure to the sun. decades later scientists discovered that the entire planet had an airborne virus was the cause of these vampiric attributes. at first the colonists found this hard to accept. however soon a man called Angus Mengsk arose and said this was not a curse, but a blessing. saying they've become a far superior race then humanity. that if the planet were to follow him, he would lead them to become a great empire.

With little contact from earth cut off for good. Angus Mengsk would lead the True Race, or Methuselah as they now referred to themselves, soon established the New Human Empire throughout the centuries, conquering dozens of systems with their new fleet. even have a two year long conflict with the humans now they've set their sights on the world of Forhilnor.

The Drukki are a four-limbed species native to Tarak Prime. The Drukki see themselves as the zenith of evolution in the galaxy. Their presumed superiority fuels an imperialistic nature. that of which is how they relate themselves to the Empire, and gladly fight alongside the Methuselah as allies, but in no way as servants.

Reason for War: The New Human Empire want the planet for it's resources and gain an advantage and prevent their enemies from having such a bountiful depot.

The Assault Troopers form the main body of every military action fought by the fearsome Methuselah War machine. These troops are trained to perform both airborne or mechanized operations, and are feared for their shock combat techniques. They often operate in squads, pinning and flanking their targets to deliver the killing blow.

The Imperial Snipers are individuals gifted with perfect eyesight with steady hands and a very precise aim. they are equipped with a tri-vision face mask that allows the sniper to get a better lock on any targets within sight. They also come equipped with stealth camouflage, aloowing them blend in the environment.

The Pyro Troopers are equipped with VC-1 Flamethrowers, causing them to excel in the role of clearing out entrenched enemy positions such as bunkers, trenches, and etc. by burning their enemies alive. To ensure that they do not suffer from the flames they inflict in battle, the Pyro Trooper is equipped with flame retardant suits.

These ferocious and resourceful special forces are among the most respected and well-rounded units in the Imperial Military. Also referred to as “Shocks” or “Leets” by enemy soldiers, the Elites are all hardened veterans with wits to match their bloodthirstiness. they are usually seen protecting high-ranking officials of both government and military status. in military actions, they operate as either spec-ops or shock infantry.

The Attack Drones are large, heavily armed and armored, and shielded. they are the few droid units employed by the imperial army. Attack drones are armed with two weapons; a single barreled plasma cannon and a triple barreled mini-rocket launcher.

The Scanners act as light combat scouts for the Imperial army. tracking down targes and alerting the main army of nearby threats.

Drukki Heavy Shock Troops are some of the most formidable foes in the Empire. These extremely armored troops move slowly (for a Drukki), but what they lack in speed they more than make up for in sheer firepower. Their armament essentially turns them into a small tank. These troops are generally used for support in Imperial operations and serve as heavy hitting forward units in larger military campaigns.

Elite Troops are the silent warriors whose mere presence has subdued insurgence on countless worlds. They move unbelievably fast and are almost perfectly accurate. The Elite are relentless hunters and are rightfully feared.

Race: Grah'rok. A race of reptilians that varies greatly in sizes, shapes, and overall appearance. All Grah'rok hold a sense of honor, passed down from generation to generation. Mixed with the unusual customs they hold, they are a truly alien race.

Military Unit Name: Strength in Fist.

Military Strength Sent: A cleansing force (180,000 military units and a cloning ship to replenish the dead) and a revival unit. (20,000 civilians from various planets, charged with colonizing and preparing for the new citizens.)

Military Tactics: For those familiar with Warhammer, it can best be described primarily as a "WAAAAGH!!!" with mixed tactics spiced in, depending on the particular commanding officer. For those that aren't familiar with Warhammer, I say that they recklessly flood the enemy, using their superior strength to best advantage by forcing the enemy to engage in melee while the commanders seek to give their troops an advantage however they can.
Reason for War: They seek to solve their overpopulation issues by adding another planet to their Empire.

Grunts are the backbone of the Grah'rok forces. The average fall into this category. A grunt is typically from six to nine feet tall, being of thick build and bone structure. They tend to flood the enemy, firing weapons too heavy to be considered practical by most other races until they reach melee range. Then, they begin swinging away with large axes, swords, hammers, and even clubs.

These are the grunts that ended up having talents other than rushing the enemy. The shock troops and demolition experts. They're the best overall fighters the Grah'rok have. They tend to have weapons they'll need as instructed by their commander. They aren't above a good assault though.

Commandos consist primarily of the smaller Grah'rok, because the larger ones lack the skill and patience needed for the profession. They typically carry silenced weapons designed to kill at a distance, though exceptions do exist. (http://fc01.deviantart.net/fs10/i/2006/083/f/2/Kobold_Soldier_by_CommissarKinyaf.jpg) They aren't the strongest link on their evolutionary chain, but they're still able to snap a neck if the situation calls for it. They're used primarily for assassination, stealth, and support roles.

They take on the roles of tanks in the Grah'rok army. Heavily mutated by Grah'rok science, they possess heavy natural armor, fowl tempers, and enough strength to rip a healthy tree out of the ground. They tend to stand at twelve feet and up, and carry only melee weapons. Their only weakness seems to be their incredible temper and stupidity. Grah'rok scientists are ashamed to admit that one of their creations has charged off a cliff attempting to tackle a hovercraft.

Jeneva is tallish 5'8" with curly brown hair and she usually has a flower in it. Her eyes are black, not dark brown, black, she wishes she could've gotten purple or orange like her parents but she was stuck with black.

Bio: Jeneva grew up as the Honreah princess, but princess's in Honreah are a lot different than human princess's. They are honored but treated like normal people until they are wed, they live by themselves with only an old woman caretaker who leaves them at 26. Then they have to fend for themselves until they can pass a test and come to join their father. The test is not revealed until they are ready.

Jeneva's 46 now and is working at a local stable (they do not ride horses though they ride what look to be horse sized sheep called Janga's) She has a once a week lessons in bow and arrow, sword fighting, riding, dancing and singing, In order to prepare her for her test. The test usually has to do with hunting since the Honreah cherish good hunters and Jeneva has mastered the bow and arrow. She lives in a small quaint cottage surrounded by yellow daisys and red zinnia's and all the villagers are confident that she'll be the best queen yet. Though Jeneva's not sure she even wants to be queen, she will frequently take long, long walks in the woods and has more than once stumbled upon a enemy camp, but was able to slip away quietly or kill the one or 2 people who found her and slip away quietly.

Other: Honreah look like humans from the outside but have much better immune systems and rarely get sick, they usually have strange colored eyes as well, the stranger the better. In fact if you have brown or blue eyes your treated as an outcast. And that is usually the only way to tell the difference between a human and a Honreah. they usually live a lot longer than humans (about 200) so if you wanted to find their age in human years you would divide by 2. So Jeneva is as mature as a 23 year old human.

Bio The Final Judgement Corporation (FJC) is a coalition of various human companies all focused on weapons research and development.

The Corporation have recently turned their eye to the planet of Forhilnor. The war currently raging across the planet have sparked their interest. Not only could they profit hugely by selling high tech weaponry to the various factions. They could also, if they played their cards right, end up taking Forhilnor for themselves. The ressources on the planet could prove a valuable asset to the corporation.
The Corporation however. Did not have enough manpower to fight against whole nations. So a team of their best scientists were put together in order to create an android of sorts which could sabotage various locations and assassinate key figures of the many factions. Thus the Synthetic Infiltration and Reconosence Unit a.k.a SIaRU (prototype) was born.

They created it using diffrent types of their technologies along with some new inventions they had come up with during the process of creating SIaRU.
It was given their latest stealth technology, for it to move undetected across Forhilnor. And the ability to absorb almost any type of metal so it could repair itself or create weapons on the go. The only weapon it has as a standard was it's claws.

As for intelligence. The scientists programmed an incredible AI for the SIaRU. So it could adapt to diffrent sorroundings in short notice. After a few years of testing. The SIaRU was sent to Forhilnor so that it could start it's mission. To weaken the opposing forces deffenses so the Corporations' troops easily could take out the remaining forces. As it would do it's job. The Corporation would sell their weapons to the diffrent factions on the planet to make profot. And seem as if that was their only intentions.

Little did they know. That the lone SIaRU protorype would learn and evovle in a way the scientists had not anticipated.

Other: SIaRU will gradually become more and more independant as the story progresses.

Thats about it. Later on I plan on making the Corporation as a faction :3

I decided to go with an invading pirate force ^^

Faction Name: Axxiom Pirate Federation (APF)

Race(s): De' Noc' Ra A race of insectiod beings standing near eight feet tall and bearing four arms, two like human hands and two like scorpion claws. Their faces are armored like the rest of them with a hard exoskeleton, although their mandibles prevent them from speaking a language understood by others a device that translates their thought projections allows them to speak with relative accuracy.

Dan-Shui Much like humans in general physiology they are more accustomed to colder climates and living underwater. Their skin is smooth and blue, some with stripes, others with spots. They have no hair and a set of gills on their necks. Their fingers are webbed, as well as their flipper-like feet. On land they must wear wrap around helmets that provide water to their gills. these helmets are open on the face but wrap around the neck and cover the back of the head, there are also small vents in the back that allow oxygen to be filtered into the water for breathing.

Katur-Athas Similar to humans in physiology except with fox-like traits. They are fully furred, have ears like a cat or similar animal, and large bushy tails. Colorations vary to every color of the rainbow, though most tend to be dark colored with a few brightly colored areas. Katur-Athas usually have a deep seated aptitude for technology, developing bionics and strange experimental (and rather dangerous) weapons that are just as likely to work as explode i your hands.

Appearance: He stands about 8'4", towering over even the tallest human. His claws are large enough to to snap a neck, if not crush a head if he's actually trying. Usually he wears black pants and a large coat, although considering Forhilnor's tropical climate he has dispensed with it, preferring instead to wear a simple armored top that comes up around his neck and the back of his head, but leaves his arms bare.
Bio: Kar'Athul has seen more combat than he would care to remember. He became a pirate at the age of 15 and has been very productive ever since, gaining his own ship at 21 and becoming an Admiral in service to the high council of Pirates at 28. He has been sent along with three other skilled Generals to secure Forhilnor for the Federation to call home.
Other: He likes to lead his forces from the front, so look for him there.

Race: Katur-Athas
Affiliation: Axxiom Pirate Federation (APF)

Occupation: Mechanized forces commander

Bio: Because the brains of Katur-Athas mature more quickly than a human's Geru is really more like a 35 year old. His piloting skills are second to none in the APF, but he lacks the all encompassing tactical skill to gain promotion to Admiral. That being said his strikes with the mechanized unit are still very coordinated, but he has no idea how to coordinate other types of troops. He lost his arm two years ago, though it was replaced with his own invention making him a formidable opponent even when he's not in an assault mech.
Other: His mech is a standard anti-infantry model, though it does have cleaner and more streamlined systems than most.

Forces of the APF:

Though many of their groups are patchwork creations of all three races the APF does have standard troop loadouts that that remain generally the same throughout their armies.

Infantry:

Standard infantry: Lightly armored and carrying assault rifles these troops are, although not very effective on their own, ferocious in groups and even more terrifying if coupled with assault troops or the like. These groups often consist of all three races that make up the APF.

Assault infantry: These troops are usually heavily armored and armed, carrying high energy laser rifles that burn through armor as well as rocket launchers for more high brow targets. These groups are more likely to have a larger number of Katur-Athas because of their aptitude for making weapons.

Stealth infantry: Groups of stealth infantry tend to be small and are often called ghosts by their colleagues. They predominantly carry long range weapons and prefer quieter weapons. De' Noc' Ra tend not to be in these groups, they're simply too big to be stealthy in most situations.

Brute squads: These groups are usually made up of mostly De' Noc' Ra because of their size and strength and prefer melee combat. Heavily armored and bearing anything from electrified axes to large chainsaws mounted with sword grips these squads are terrifying to behold, rushing in to get closer and then tearing into ranged squads with their weapons.

Anti infantry mechs are all built on the same basic chassis though extremities like feet are left to be fabricated at specification of the pilot. Armed with a fixed cannon on the front and a four barreled .50 caliber turret that can be use for anything from tearing apart infantry squads to downing aircraft that get too close these mechs are versatile and dangerous.

Artillery mech: built on the same chassis as the anti infantry mech, but mounted with a longer barreled fixed cannon and a large tank turret in place of the .50 cal of the Assault mechs groups of these are extremely dangerous long range killers capable of destroying entire towns in a few salvos.

APF Starships:

By sending such a large ship the pirates have given away their position, but ensured that they have enough forces to fight with.

Contego class defense cruiser: http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/sinsofasolarempire/images/4/40/Serevun_Overseer.jpgRoughly 1/5 the size of the Leviathan class cruiser these smaller ships are armed to the teeth in order to prevent the destruction of the invasion force.
