The Kidnapping (OOC Not accepting as of yet)

Year 2036:
Five years after the Third World War, caused by world-wide nuclear tests that went horribly wrong, that devastated the Earth. Nearly 1.5 billion people died in the war, another 300 million died in the aftermath. The world is now poverty-stricken, except for pieces of Asia, Europe and Africa, which are currently warring with each other. Rumors of a Fourth World War have everyone fleeing away to North and South America, hoping to find freedom.
Lowdine City, Brazil:
The largest city in post-apocalyptic South America. The center of the remaining technology from before the third World War in 2024. This is where many of the refugees of Asia and North America flee to as smaller wars continue to rage on. But, what many of these people don't know, is that as they flee to freedom, they're falling into a trap. A trap that forces siblings to destroy each other, for parents to murder (and often times, eat) their offspring. A trap they may change everything about them. Down to the last little shred of DNA. With the war on the horizon, Lowdine could be a real force to be reckoned with.

Short backstory: Alice was captured, along with most of her family, when they fled from a small Irish town when she was six. They were forced to kill each other, and only she and her older sister, Emma, survived. Being the younger of the two, Alice was experimented on the most. Her body rejected most of the DNA mutation, and in order to keep her alive, they enhanced her body with cybernetics. She was trained until her body would give out, and was still considered a failed experiment. They placed her in a Life Enhancement pod for a time period of 20 years. Eleven years have passed since then, and she is awakening early.

He's been arrested many times by snooping in restricted areas, and has been spending the last couple of months in jail. He was recently released and has started investigating again.

Homeland: High Level, Alberta Canada
Current location: Heading towards Lowdine City

Short backstory: Lived with her parents, younger brother and dog Kaine. Since her mother was a martial arts expert and her father was a personal trainer she and her brother grew up to be very active. It was a very strict family and sulking and complaining was simply not tolerated. So she learned very quickly to hold in her emotions and to deal with pain by herself. At first the war hadn't really affected her or her family but after a while it took its tole on them. After the second year both her parents had to fight in the war and six months later Kaley learned that they had died. That left her to take care of her brother and dog. However her brother had caught a high fever and since they had absoultly no money to take care of him, he died from it. She's now heading to Lowdine with Kaine in hopes of a better life.

Short backstory: Hermes' family went to Lowdine City in hopes for a better life away from the war when he was twelve, but like everyone, they were tricked. His two younger siblings, his three year old brother and six year old sister were kidnapped out of the alley they lived in, and in a fury his father grew enraged and went mad. Scared for his life, Hermes picked up a thrown out 2x4 and hit his father upside the head just as he was attacking his mother. He went to his mothers aid, with his father now unconcious, but it was to late. She died a few minutes later telling him she loved him. It was then that he ran. The next day he came up to a window in a richer part of the city and looked in the window of a shop and watched the TV in the top corner and saw the top story was the murder of his parents. He wept for his mother and father learning that he had in fact killed him by accident. After that he became a thief and a performer, entertaining the more well off people with fire tricks, his specialty being the fire staff. He took a durable wooden staff, made an aluminum shell for it and replaces the ends with special gauze for fire, but being on the streets, it doubles as a weapon.

Short backstory: Fleeing Cuba with her two brothers, Adelia was headed to Lowdine city for shelter. It was a place of glimmering hope in a world that was dark and chaotic. Sadly, upon arrival, the threesome was snatched up and forced fight. Their captors told them that only the strongest would survive. As it were, the strongest was Adelia. The scientists proceeded to induce gene therapy, mutating her DNA. The result was the ability to heal from any wound, as well as above average speed and strength. They put her abilities to the test, the climax of this torture being when they removed her head and reattached it. After that, she begged and pleaded for release. In the end, a deal was made. In return for her services as a guard and hunter for new experiments, she would be allowed to roam the streets unguarded.
