Note: This RP takes place 1 year after the end of R2 and therefore will include spoilers as to how the show ends so please bear that in mind before reading ahead.

Preface
"Lelouch Lamperouge, you have the power of a king and of geass." Came a familiar voice into Lelouch's ears as he laid still staring into the darkness of his own mind. "Wake up my son and become what you are meant to be." The words seemed odd to Lelouch at the moment, his mind raced remembering his death at the hands of Suzaku as he slowly opened his eyes and was met with a gaze similar to his own... the gaze of Geass. Suddenly, fear overtook the now conscious Lelouch as he stared up at his father and attempted to move away from him as a scream escaped his lips.
"No! Your dead! I'm dead... this can't be possible." Lelouch said in broken words, his hands running down his body and resting on his chest where the sword had pierced his skin.
"Silly boy... How can the king of the world die?"

Lelouch walked slowly down the halls of Ashford Academy, his hands buried deep into the pockets of his old uniform. The school was peaceful and he assumed it was because classes were currently in session. "Perfect." He muttered to himself as he turned the corner and was met by a force that caused him to fly to the ground. He groaned in pain as he sat up and looked at who hit him and smiled as he recognized the face at once. A student with messy blue hair sat in front of Lelouch, his hand resting on his head as he gazed at the floor whimpering slightly.
"Ow... I'm sorry... I didn't mean to." He began to say as his eyes open and looked at the boy in front of him. It took Rival a moment to fully understand what he was looking at and gasped in shock as the face was given a name in his mind. "L...lelouch?"
"Hello Rival... would you kindly obey my every command." Lelouch muttered simply, his own eyes filling with the mark of Geass as he looked into his old friend's eyes. Rival's expression changed from fear to a calm look as he leaned up and arranged himself on one knee.
"Yes... my king."
Plot
Lelouch has returned from the dead, but with a different goal. Instead of saving the world, he wishes to control it and plans to use whatever tricks it takes to achieve this goal.
The start of the roleplay is two weeks after the above incident, and Lelouch has made Ashford Academy his headquarters known as "Area Zero." Most of the students have been taken under his control, while some escaped and have hidden themselves underground. The area around the school have been stationed with knightmares similar in design to the Lancelot, manned by an army of the best pilots (asides from Kallen, Suzaku, etc.) in the world all of whom are under Lelouch's control. Any military attempt to capture Lelouch has been foiled so far and it seems as though Zero and the Black Knights are needed once more.
Rules
1. No Goddmodding <- obvious
2. Cursing is permitted, but please keep it to a minimum.
3. This is a slightly literate RP. 1-2 Paragraphs per post is recommended, however, writer's block is always possible and it will be understood.
4. If playing a character from the show make sure to be in character. Doing something that they wouldn't do just seems wrong.

Personality: Elsa wears the mask of a clumsy, upbeat girl who's a star pupil at Ashford Academy. Behind that mask is a clever, loyal woman who knows how to get her information. Her emotions
History: Elsa was very young when she was taken from the Homeland along with her family. Her parents were researchers of Geass, and worked many long hours. Without their knowledge, she was tested on, given the power of Geass, and eventually, learned how to harness it for herself. She was called a shield, her Geass acts as an immunity to most other Geass powers. However, she is anemic and cannot do much physical fighting. She is an adept enough knightmare pilot.
She recently came to Ashford Academy with no knowledge of how she even escaped her prison alive. She is also pretending that Lelouch's Geass as affected her.

Personality: Calm and tactical while on the battlefield, Ryo has seen quite of bit of death in his time mosty in the form of friends dying around him during battles. Outside side of a battle zone, he seems life a pretty nice guy if a bit distant fearing attachment only makes like harder down the line.
History: Ryo had been in the original black knights under Lelouch joining at the same time as Kyoshiro Tohdoh as one of the last members of the Japan Liberation Front. Though not the most remarkable personality, he has an impressive service history as a knightmare frame pilot and was in every battle that featured the main forces of the Black Knights along with the instigation of the second rebellion. With the lose of many of the top knightmare pilots to Lelouch, Ryo's had to step up becoming something of an ace among the new Black Knights.

Personality: Richard in the most simplest forms is a bore, a knightmare pilot who lost sense of himself and is left only the tactical mind of a fighter. One of the newest and easily most popular recruit of the Black Knights, he is surrounded with mystery and keeps mostly to himself.
History: The forgotten son of the Japanese Federation, he is the half brother of Suzaku Kururugi (the current Zero) and was tired by "Zero" as a soldier. He was raised with a Britannian Family that raised him as a Britannian keeping him hidden from his Japanese heritage. At the age of 21, he joined the black knights as a volunteer helping to clean up Japan and due to the new screening of the Black Knights for health issues, it was found that his parents were not his. After a while of searching, it was discovered that Suzaku was his family and this information was told to Zero. Suzaku took him under his wing making him one of the ace's of the Black Knights, all the while keeping his secret from his brother.

Personality: In combat, Hans is quite violent and aggressive, one of the few reasons of being discharged from the EU military. He's very determined to be the last standing in a fight. he can also be quiet the ladies man, well to him at least.
History: Once a pilot in the German National Guard. He took part in the defense of Africa against the Britannian Empire, in campaign he was known to be rash and often abandoned his unit to fight on his own. he fought fiercely against the imperials. however, mid-way through the war, he killed his commanding officer and two of his squadmates during a mass retreat, he claimed it was "Friendly Fire" but most were not convinced. as such he was discharged from the military and was sentenced to life in prison.
Although Hans had other plans. before he could be sent to a military prison. he fled the EU and worked as Mercenary ever since. today he now works under the services of Lelouch, and as a token of his loyality he was giving a new Knightmare, Arthur.

Q: where did the knightmare frames come from? and are the pilots the geassed students or what?
A:The knightmares were created by scientists that Lelouch has controlled (he basically rolled into the school with his own personal army) and the pilots aren't the students but professional fighters.
Q: Is it okay to have a Geass?
A: Yes having a Geass is permitted but your history needs to explain very well how you got it and what it does. Also make sure you do not make yourself overpowered since a Geass can do that and include what the weakness to your Geass is (i.e. Rolo not being able to use it continually, Lelouch only being able to use it once on people).
