Your parents have sent you to a preppy boarding school once again. You'd begged them over and over not to do it, but, being your parents, they sent you no matter how much you'd pleaded. When you arrive you see girls in skirts, and ties with hands interlocked walking down the roads.

You look the other way and see a couple of guys in tuxedos talking, just having a good time. As you keep on walking you realize they are all wearing uniforms. Probably the worst thing ever. Uniforms. You keep on walking and find a board. Once you get a closer look at it you see it's a map of the school.

Woah, you think as you gaze all around the board. This school is huge. There are stables for the horses, a large cafeteria, bathrooms all over the place. As your eyes change focus to the bottom of the board, it shows the classes. For a second you hade forgotten it was even a school it was so awesome! Then someone walks up to.

"Hello, I'm guessing your the new student. Please sign your name here and fill out this form.", he says handing you a form.

Scarlett roamed the halls a little bit lost in this big school. She would think it would be nearly impossible for someone not to get lost in such a big school. She walked up to a group of some kids"Do you by chance know where Mr....Williams class-", it usually wouldn't take long for the group of kids to leave her hanging mid-sentence like this. Eh, she was used to it. At her old school her only friends would be the "Emos" as people loved calling them. Or the "Goths". People here were still like that, but she was doing her best to try not to go off on them like she would sometimes at her old school.

Trista ran her fingers through her long red hair as she roamed the halls, there wasn't much for her to do when she didn't know anybody in the school. She preferred to be back in her old school where all of her friends were. She had a lot of friends that had at least one thing in common with her. Here she saw a bunch of preps and jocks walking around like they owned the place, what was with her parents and trying to turn into something she wasn't? She grunted once and looked up from her hair almost walking into another girl who looked like she was just wandering around the school as well. She wanted to say something to her and ask if she wanted to roam around together but all she could mumble out was "Sorry" before she thought of walking away. She had always been the awkward quiet person when she didn't know anybody.

-------------------

Axtre walked up the stairs to the school and turned around looking back at his parents who had dropped him off and left. He knew his father didn't care and neither did his mother. They both were just glad to be getting rid of him. He shook his head and walked over to the side of the door, looking into his new large school. There were a lot of people that looked like they would want nothing to do with him. He slid down the wall outside beside the school and pulled out his ipod. He shoved his bulky headphones on the top of his head and pushed the switch up to turn on his ipod. He scrolled through the songs in his lists, he had listened to them all a million times and it was all use up. He grunted and then looked up and thats when he saw her. His ex girlfriend. The girl that everybody wanted in his old school and she had chosen to be with him. The new boy. He had moved and then she convinced her parents to move her to the school where he was going to be attending.

-----------------

Sara ran her fingers through her blonde hair, she had just cut some of it off so it was hanging only an inch below her shoulders. She missed her hair terribly but it had been damaged from her straightening iron. She needed to cut it so that it would keep growing. She stepped out of her parents chofer's vehicle and smiled looking around at the scenery. It wasn't the best of places but the people walking into the school looked pretty enough to be her friends. She chuckled and started walking towards the entrance of the school as she flipped her hair back over her shoulders. "Oh my, Ax. I didn't know you were transferring here as well. I hear the food is just divine." She smiled and then turned around to walk into the school, pretending like she had no idea that they were going to be going to the same school. even though she clearly had all intentions of getting sent to this school because he was going.

Axtre had dumped Sara a few months back because she was treating him like she owned him. Like he was some dog she could drag around on a leash and have him do whatever she wanted. At least that is how he felt. From her point of view she was treating him like a god and he broke up with her so that he could find somebody pretty, but he was never going to find somebody prettier than her in their old school. This is why she thinks that he got himself sent to this new school. However, in all reality, he had not gotten himself sent here. His parents just didn't want to deal with him anymore so they sent him to boarding school.

Scarlett looked up to the girl she'd just bumped into. "It's fine.", she said with the wave of her hand like she was trying to swat a fly or something that was getting in her way. "I'm new her.", she said with a quick pause before continuing on. "My name is Scarlett. Would you like to walk with me?", she asked with a smile coming to her face. She fixed her hair as she stood there waiting patiently for the girls reply. I hope she will walk with me.., she thought to herself thinking it would be pretty nice to be able to maybe get a chance to talk to someone and possibly make a new friend.

Kura kicked up his feet into the seat next to him, he then shuffled abit before he got comfortable against the wall. He was sitting at a lunch table near on the wall in the cafeteria. No, cafeteria seems too small to describe it, the whole thing was more of an atrium of a food hall. Bustling with teenagers and the like, Kura chose an empty table a bit away from the crowds.
"Now this......this is a school" Kura voices lowly to himself as he grabs a small netbook out of his shoulder bag, he sets it on the table, opens it up, and hits the power button. His left hand goes to his chin and brushes the stubble hes been growing. He then loosens his blue tie before fiddling with his comp. "This place has wi-fi. nice! So much more better than the last school." His eyes trace over his routine websites he frequents, opening and closing various windows. It'll take time to adjust to the locale, but Kura figures that with the benefits here, adjusting will be easy.

Freya walked quietly down the school hallway silently with her uniform skirt swishing by her hips. Her long brunett hair flowed behind her almost like a super model though she never cared for looks. Regardless even if she didn't make herself pretty in the mornings she still looked stunning either way. Maybe it was because of her perfect hair or her entrancing silver eyes. She had been at the school for about 2 weeks already and she was already acustom to the outrageous rumors that spread through the school for entertainment, she of course was one of the topics. One of the new students at the school and she still doesn't have a group of friends to hang out with. She of course didn't mind, she could care less if she had friends or not.

Jace walked across the schol courtyard with his school books under his arm. He had been a student at the boarding school since last year and everyone knew him...or they thought they did. He was always rumored to be a sports lover, but in reality he would rather have his nose stuck in a book. As he walked through the hall way everyone, mostly girls, began to stare in awe...he of course was one of the most attractive students at the school but everyone was too imtimidated by his peircing green eyes to walk up to him and try to make a conversation. Even if someone did he was naturally a quiet person and it would result in a very short talked conversation.

Scarlett walked with the girl then bumped into Jace. "I'm sorry..", she said kind of lowering her head as she was going to walk away in shame. She had dropped her bag so she bent down to get it along with some of her books. "Once again, sorry.", she hadn't even taken a glance at this guy, but she had talked to him. She bit her lip as she walked away by herself again. This was how her first few days had been, everyone avoiding her, and ignoring her.

Jace was somewhat startled as the girl bumped into him and he watched as she nervously picked up her books and then left. He turned to watch her closely and then turned back around to continue on his way until he found a book she had left behind. He quickly bent down to pick it up and then rushed over to her side. "Hey, wait up!" He called for her and then walked to her side. "You left this." He said handing her back her book.

"Thanks...", she said with a slight smile showing her pure white teeth that looked as if she'd had them whittened before, but she hasn't. Her teeth were almost perfectly white. She took the book and shoved it in her bag that she had thrown over her shoulder earlier in the morning. She looked at him this time and smiled again, the sun reflecting off of her teeth they were so shiny.

Jace smiled back at her giving a warm smile to show her some kindness. "You must be a new student here. I am Jace." He said holding out a hand for a handshake. His perfect blonde hair curled right above his piercing green eyes and he had the perfect tan that all girl swooned over though he never noticed.

Scarlett shook his hand and said her thanks once more. She adjusted her bag on her shoudler as it had started to rub on her shoulders and give her little red marks on her skin because of it. The weight of the bag was also a factor of it, she was carrying most of her stuff in it, including all of her books, and a notebook, along with several pens and pencils. Her bag was so full it had started to rip on the bottom.

ashford211994
04-14-2011, 12:12 AM
Jace noticed the baring weight of her bag and also it's condition. "oh um...would you like me to carry that for you?" He asked curiously. "It looks pretty heavy for you...have you gotten a locker yet? Maybe we could put some of your books in there so you are not having to carry these heavy books around all day." He said taking her bag from her and then putting it onto his broad shoulder. "What is your name by the way?" He asked looking down at her with curious green eyes.

Princess C
04-14-2011, 12:16 AM
"As for the bag, yes please.. And for the locker, no, I haven't. Who do I talk to, to get one?", she asked then continued. "And my name is Scarlett. What's your name?", she asked tilting her head to look up at him. He was pretty tall, either that or Scarlett was just short. She stood only at 4'11 or five feet.

Jace chuckled a little. "I thought I had already adressed that, but I would be happy to reppeat." He said with a crooked grin. "I am Jace and to get a locker you go to the activities office which is located behind the main office and purchase a locker there. That or you could always just leave your belongings in your dorm." He explained as they walked across the courtyard. He looked down at her and noticed the major difference in their height. He stood at 6 feet 4 inches which was slightly taller then adverage guy, but she was two head smaller then he was, but he didn't mind. "So where to Scarlett?" He asked as they passed a group of cheerleaders glaring at the two as they walked by.

Princess C
04-14-2011, 12:24 AM
"Oh, sorry about that..Didn't catch that.. But, nice to meet you Jace. And okay, thanks for the information on my locker.", she said with a smile. "And my schedule..", she said pulling out her schedule from her pocket and unfolding it then moving her finger to where it showed her next class. "Um, Mr. Williams..", she said with a sigh seeing that it was her least favorite subject. Science.

04-14-2011, 12:28 AM
Jace bent down a little to get a better look at her schedual and then a smile came to his lips. "Looks like you have first period with me." He said with a small chuckle. "Guess I will be walking you there, but it seems you are not very entusiastic with this class." He said as he saw a some dispointment into her eyes. "Do you strugle with Chemistry?" He asked curiously adjusting her bag on his shoulder so that it wouldn't fall.

She sighed then looked up at him as she bit her lip slightly. "Y-y-yes..", she said shaking her head and looking down. "I'm horrible at it..", she said remembering last year she almost didn't make it here because she almost failed her Science class by one point. Her teacher had let it slide just because of her parents. Her mom being a cop, and her father being a lawyer can obviously make an impression on people.

Jace looked down and heard her studer. "Oh, um...I never ment to make you feel uncomfortable." He said apologetically. "If you ever need help, I can always help you." He said with a small reasuring smile down at her. "I am good in Chemistry and Biology, but my best subject is English. If you ever need any help in any subject I am usually in the library after school so you can always meet me there and we can work on our homework together." He explained. He wanted to be as helpful as possible this year, this was the first time in a long time he actually socialized with anyone for more then 2 minutes.

Princess C
04-14-2011, 12:41 AM
"It's fine..", she said looking up at him. "And that would be awesome if you could help me out with those classes. English I'm really good in, but in Chemistry and Bio, I'm horrible.", she said putting an emphasis on the word, horrible. Scarlett was usually an anti-social person, but she wanted to change her reputation at this new school.

Jace grinned and chuckled, something he hadn't done in a wile. "Well I am the guy to talk to." He said as they walked onto the school campus and threw the hall way. "Funny thing is, I have never been a very socialable person before, but yet I am actually talking to you." He said with a small laugh as he looked at her. "Maybe it is a good thing, after all this is my last here at the school...it would be good to make friends."

Princess C
04-14-2011, 12:53 AM
"That's odd.. I'm usually not that socialable either..", she said with a slight smile. She was proud of herself for actually going up to someone and at least attempting to start a conversation and trying to begin a friendship. She'd never really came out of her shell this much, so she didn't quite know where to direct this converstaion from here.

Trista nodded with only a slight smile as she started to walk with the other girl. When she bumped into some guy she rolled her eyes and looked down at the ground, stopping when she saw this other new girl walk away with him. Of course, she was ditched again like she was always. She wasn't much interested in finding a guy at the moment so she just wanted to find somebody she had something in common with to be friends with. She sighed and turned around to walk down the other hall way. She just decided to try and find her first class instead of wandering the halls like she didn't know what was going on. She sighed once more and then pulled her ipod out and turned it on, turning the volume up loud not caring who thought it was rude or not. She wanted right now to tune the world out. She started walking mindlessly through the halls of this new school with her head caught up in her music.

----------------------

Axtre mumbled a few words before he pushed himself up and peered into the school one more time. His music was still playing but only loud enough for him to hear it, if somebody was to talk to him he would still be able to hear them. He took a deep breath and then shoved his way into the school to find his room or locker, anything. He looked down at his stomach as he heard it growl. It had been almost six hours since the last time he had eaten so he figured its why his stomach was growling. He shook his head with a some what non existent look on his face. He didn't want to be here especially with her here as well but he had to make the best with what he was given.

--------------------

Sara walked through the halls of the school looking for a group of friends that wasn't that popular looking to become friends with. This was what she always did, make herself the pretty one. Or at least that is how she felt. She had all plans of ditching them later but she wouldn't let them know that at all. She had done it in her last school as well. With a small grin spreading on her face she saw a boy and girl talking and approached them to see if she could insert herself into the conversation as well, trying to seem a little helpless. "Hey ... I am new here. Would you two like to help me around?" She spoke quietly trying to sound innocent. She had no idea if they would even know the way around but letting them know she was new here, she thought, was her best bet.

Figuring that class was going to start soon, Kura shut down his netbook and put it into his shoulder bag. Shifting his glasses a bit further up the bridge of his nose, he took the shortest path out of the large cafeteria. As he opens the door, a couple of upperclassmen shove past from the other side, slamming the door onto his face. The force of the door smacking his face broke the bridge of his glasses. With a groan from his mouth and a frown on his face, Kura left the cafeteria.

"Ah, dammit! Thats the third pair this month."

His eyes were glued to the pair of broken glasses in his hands, he didn't notice that he was coming across cross hallway until he collided into someone who happened to be listening to their music alittle too loudly. Both people fell to the floor.

"Ah, sorry. My fault" left Kura's mouth as he managed to his feet.

He asked curiously trying to find conversation with her.

Orion was shoved into the hallway and the door slammed behind him. His first day here, and these freaks were already forcing him around. He shrugged at his own thought, and then walked down the hall. He let instinct guide him down the hall and he stopped near a boy and girl who were talking about something. He easily put on his most bored expression and approached.

"This place is so confusing, do either of you preps know where I can get a schedule? The office full of self important pompuses didn't give me one."

Jace looked down at the other student who seemed to be new to the school as well. The comment about him being a prep tinged a little like a guitar string, but he simply ignored it so he could stay the pleasant person he usually was. "Yes, the mian office is over there." He pointed behind him from where he had come from. "At the side of the main office is the activities office, they should know what to do." He said with a warm smile.

Then they were aproached by another student, a girl seemingly innocent. "Oh um sure." Jace said wondering why all the new students were coming to him for advice. In his first years at the school nobody would talk to him, but now they already formed a large group of people, mostly new students of the school asking questions.

"Yeahhh..", Scarlett said to his first comment. "And well, I'm a pretty nice girl once you get to know me well enough...", she said and then continued on. "And.. well.. I'm kind of... emo... as you can probably see.", she said simply as she pointed to herself and moved her hand up and down in front of her body pointing our her hair and peircings, and clothes. She dressed differently, and had peircings, and some tattoos, but she didn't like people who always stereotyped her about being emo, so she didn't tell many people. But with Jace, she felt comfortable with him already as he had helped her, and hoped that he wouldn't ditch her like everyone else would just because she's emo and all.

Jasmine Rose wandered through the halls of the new boarding school she was just freshly enrolled in. She stopped and turned back to her twin, " Can you believe it Daimen, this...place is a school. More like a castle." Jasmine stared at her brother with a fairy tale twinkle in her eye. " Maybe there's secret passageways or a curse or even, some sort of beautiful legend about this place. Jasmine stared at one of the walls that was filled with pictures and awards from pervious years.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Daimen stared as his sister dreamed of this school being a fantasty land. He loved how his younger twin used her imagintion but for once, he wished that she acted a little bit more mature for her age. " Jasmine, could you please get your head out of the caste's clouds," he said with a smirk. " We're suppose to be here to learn and stuff like that. Daimen looked at his and Jasmine's schedule, " We both have English first period. So can we go and get good seats. I wouldn't like to be late our first day and have terrible front seats."

Being late on the first day at a new school wasn't the best idea, but it wasn't his fault his dad's navigational skills weren't worth a dime. Now, he stood in the office, waiting for the older woman, behind the desk, to find his schedule. She had practically taken a chunk out of what little self-esteem he had left when he walked through the doors ten minutes late.

She snapped her head up, her eyes furious, "Here's your locker number, combination, and schedule."

He shifted his backpack over his shoulder, and took the paper she had rudely shoved at him. Why on Earth was she taking this so personally? He was sure the confusion he was feeling was splayed across his face, but she didn't bother enlightening him. Instead, she gave a dismissive wave, and he gleefully left the miserable woman's office.

Mina stared down at the paper in his hand, glancing back up from time to time just to make sure he didn't miss his locker. The number was scrawled in chicken-scratch up at the top, and he could barely make it out. He bit down on the inside of his bottom lip, holding back the scream of frustration that was clawing at his throat. How the hell was he supposed to make it through this year? It was right about now that he was regretting his life's decisions.

Heaving a sigh, he stopped and massaged the bridge of his nose.

"Keep calm. Everything will work out for the better," he assured himself.

Glancing around again, he spotted his locker number and instantly felt relief. Making his way over to it, he let a smile grace his lips before looking back down to find his combination. The smile immediately faded as he tried desperately to make out the scribble. He pressed his forehead against the cold steel of the locker and let out a groan.

"You have got to be friggin' kidding me."

Beeeep boooop beeeep 'Scratch Scratch'

Suddenly every room in the school was filled to life with the abnormally pestering beeping sounds of the speaker system. A soft chuckling noise could be heard muffled on the other side.

"Hello, student body- and faculty." He added the last part as if it tasted like dirt on his tongue. "Just a friendly little reminder to go screw yourselves." He shuffled around a bit more, his surprisingly tender voice never wavered while words of venom slithered off his tongue.

"Ohhh. And, please enjoy this little treasure trove of entertainment brought to you by- yours truly." He pressed his fingers against the 'play' button on his mp3 player and suddenly the loudest most barbaric sounding song began to play (( This one ;3--- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iHW01gY7H-4 )) It filed the hallways for a total of twenty seconds before there was a final 'click' and the boy was pried away.

"Please disregard that announcement. I repeat... Disregard."

XxXxXxX

Moments later Victor was pushed out of the office with a big fat bruise along his rosy cheek. He'd struggled when the teachers came to pry him away from the speakers, but in the process he'd fallen down and bonked himself- giving himself a nasty little bruise.

They let him off with a detention, but next time they assured him he would no longer be allowed to attend.

Scarlett was now rushing through the halls of the classroom to find her next class. Jace had gotten lost in the crowd of people by now, so she was alone once again. She was scurrying through the hallways when she saw a boy with his head leaned against his locker. She walked up to him out of curiousity. "Uhm, is everything .. okay?" she asked. She knew that this year a lot of newer students were coming in and they were having the same troubles that she'd been having here.

She sat there then when the announcments came on she smiled a wicked little smile and looked around, seeing everyone stop what they were doing to listen to what this person had to say. She giggled a little bit and smirked all throughout the song. She looked back to the boy that had been standing there and waited for his repsonse.

The sound of the someone's voice, close to his ear, interrupted Mina's depressive train of thought. He lifted his head, eyes narrowing in suspicion. The suspicion abruptly turned to realization that the other person, was in fact, speaking to him. He opened his mouth to speak, acknowledge the female's presence and tell her that he was just "fine" and there wasn't a need to worry about, and that she could be on her way.

'Because I don't want any friends from this school,' he reassured himself that that was, indeed, the reason for his attitude.

However, he didn't quite get that far, and soon suspicion had crept back into his eyes. He turned his attention, like everyone else, to the screeching of the intercom, and frowned when he made out the faintest chuckle behind the static of the intercom.

Once the announcement had begun, it was clear to Mina that the person on the other side was not supposed to be there. He dropped his books, covered his ears, and let out a noise, much likened to a sort of hiss, of annoyance. He was not one for loud music, whether it was designed that way, or some idiot had just cranked up the volume on an average song.

He was thankful when it ended and whoever it was had been escorted from the office. Mina bent down, gathering his things once more, he looked up to the female while he did so, tossing her a look that spoke of his annoyance towards the event.

"I'm fine," he whispered, finding it hard to talk with confidence for a moment.

The music must have shaken him more than he had thought.

Within moments the door to the classroom opened and the air was sliced in half as if an invisible knife had constantly dawned Victor's presence. The king of vanity held his bag over his shoulder with ice colored eyes set focused carefully on the inhabitants of the classroom.

He might have looked elegant. Angelic even. If it weren't for the big shiner on the side of his face that served as an anchor- an anchor that reminded him of just how human he really was. The blonde popped out a packet of what appeared to be orange 'tic-tacs' and balanced one on his tongue, body shifting into movement as the slender blonde made his way over to two very interesting looking inhabitants of the classroom.

"Mmm. Cheer up buddy." His husky voice came out cocky as he patted Mina's back. The boy looked like he's just seen a ghost.

He took the seat in front of the two, spinning it around so he could press his abdomen against the back. He didn't smile- he didn't need to. Those eyes of his seemed to do all the work, they moved with happiness, they laughed even when his face was still.

"Good afternoon. Can I interest you two in some lovely tasting tic tacs?" He held them out to the two of them, winking.

Scarlett looked to the blonde boy who had just offered them some 'tic-tacs'. She nodded slightly, like, Why not? She held out her hand to him, as she turned around slightly to retrieve one. She didn't care if she got into trouble with the teacher, since class didn't start for another two minutes or so. She wasn't one to be a huge rule breaker, but she wasn't a complete goodie two shoes either.

She remembered his voice from somewhere, but where? Then, it finally hit her. "Are you the kid from the announcements this morning?" she said with a slight smirk, and a big grin growing on her face. If it was him, she would begin to like this kid. He seemed like her a little bit. Once you got to know her, you would either judge her as a complete bitch, or a really nice girl, who just loves to be herself.

She hung her back on the back of her chair and watched him, and the other boy, Mina, exchange several glances at each other. She didn't know what they were doing, but she knew she wasn't involved in it, so she just took her tic-tac and popped it in her mouth, and looked back to the giant white board sitting in front of them.

Mina hadn't really noticed the entrance of another student, his mind was occupied by the stress of a new day. He was shuffling his papers back into order, stacking his new notebooks by class, and glancing over his schedule just to remind himself of the next class and attempting to memorize the room number. It wasn't until a hand was touching him, that he completely snapped out of his thoughts, bolting upright from his hunched over position. If he had looked worried before, now he resembled someone who had just been struck by lightening; his face contorted with surprise and just a dash of fear.

The voice and words of his fellow student did nothing to calm his staggering heart. It wasn't until the other boy went to his desk that Mina allowed himself to breathe.

"I just lost ten years to my life," Mina muttered, looking utterly exhausted.

Mina glanced back up to the boy, who had now positioned himself in front of them, and shook his head, avoiding eye contact for the moment. It was the girl's question that stole his attention. He glanced at her, out of the corner of his eye, and listened, halfheartedly, to their conversation.

He pressed his left elbow onto the desk, leaning his cheek onto his half-opened palm, as his eyes wandered back to his schedule, and he tapped the point of his pencil against each class.

"Mmhm. Yep you're right darling, that was me." Though he seemed proud of his escapade he made no move to entertain the notion any longer, he wasn't exactly proud of his punishment. He eyed the boy he'd just scared- Mina- and a sense of melancholy stretched across his features, the brief moment that they made eye contact he shot an apologetic glance towards him. He hadn't meant to scare the poor thing.

He smiled a bit at Scarlet for a few moments, leaning forwards and playing absent mindedly with one of her pencils, he seemed to like too barge in on people's personal space. His attention was then stolen by the bruise. He pouted, pressing a cold hand to it and closing his eyes as he turned back around in his chair, the cockiness subsided and for once they were blessed with a moment of brief silence.

He had taken to leaning back in his chair so that it only stood on two legs, it would be quite hilarious if he were to lose his balance.

Mina cast another glance in the other boy's direction, meeting his eyes for a moment and acknowledging the apologetic look. While he rather not engage the other in conversation, he found it quite polite of him to apologize--- even without the words attached. He came off different to Mina than the other students.

'I could learn to appreciate that,' he thought.

What he didn't appreciate was overhearing that he was, indeed, the kid that had done the intercom stint. A frown pulled at the corner's of his mouth. Just remembering the music was enough to cause a headache and he dismissed the thought quickly.

'Well, he's extremely friendly.' Mina noted as he watched the boy invade another personal bubble before turning around and leaning dangerously on his chair. It provoked a memory of when his friends would goof around before, and sometimes during, class. He remembered Alec, who constantly leaned on his chair, and how he'd reach over his desk and give his friend a shove. Of course, he always got smacked in the face afterwards, but it was worth it to see the look on Alec's face and hear Kate's laugh.

'But this kid isn't Alec, and Kate isn't here,' he reminded himself.

Mina turned away, fixing his gaze out the window instead. The last thing he needed now was to remember them.

Adam let his feet guide him aimlessly around as his head was filled with worries for this new school, he was going back and fourth in his head from trying to remember his room number where all of his earthly possessions were now stored to thinking 'transferred...again' to if he would make any friends here or not. The new school feeling passed quickly when moving from school to school every year, although none had this much campus to explore.

He passes a few classroom doors and a wave of fear passed through him before he reminded himself that his classes start tomorrow, today was just to get to know the halls slightly. He stopped daydreaming when a large group of people flooded the halls going the opposite way, he stepped quickly to the side not knowing if he would be trampled or not. The loud din of talking and footsteps quickly overcame any other noise as the wave rushed over him and kept him where he was standing, not able to make any headway versus this wall of humanity.

He pushed his hand in to his pocket and pulled out a paper with a school map on it, feeling slightly foolish for having such a mark of novice out he quickly traced his path back to his room then shoved the paper out of view into his pocket.

Marcus had walked through the front gates of the school, filled with anticipation, wondering what this new school would be like, he had always gone to public school till now. But from the moment he saw the actual campus, He knew this was going to be a good place for him.

Entering the main building with a smile on his face and a happy strut, Marcus walked into the main office, getting his class schedule, locker number, dorm room number, map, and a quick shooing off to class.

Having a good sense of direction, Marcus began walking in the direction of his first class, Til being startled with a loud announcement, and some blasting of Job for a Cowboy. "Well, someone is brave, atleast they have good taste in music though." He mused to himself, Before finding his classroom.

Marcus entered the classroom quietly, and took a seat in the back. Pulling headphones from his pocket, Marcus inserted them into his ears and began blasting Protest the Hero loud enough to block out the sound of everyone around him, and began wondering how he would make friends in the new school.

Shay waltzed into class long after the stream of students had ended, "Fashionably late, as always," she muttered to herself, "And too late to make a stunning entrance, too." The boy on the speakers had already accomplished that feat and she had no intention of trying to top it. She did, however, ave every intention of tracking him down. He seemed like an interesting character and she loved characters. And how rebellious! The petite green-eyed pixie had a feeling she'd be wandering around the school for the next week "borrowing" iPods until she found the culprit.

She walked towards the back of the classroom, hoping the empty seats at the front weren't the only untaken ones. And then, she saw it. A blonde-haired boy with a nasty shiner leaning precariously in her chair. For a moment, she resisted, but it was just to easy. He was practically begging for it. In fact, the kid might as well have walked up to her and handed her a note that said Hello, it is a pleasure to meet you. Would you render me a great service and kindly shove me? I would forever be indebted to you. Love Always and Forever, QT Pie. And so she did it, Shay walked right up and kicked the chair out from under him. And so far as she was concerned, it wasn't even her fault. The kid had clearly wanted someone to do it. In fact, he'd handed her a note telling her to.

I, Terri Macedon, was so over the entire prep school atmosphere. Sure, things were beginning to go smoothly and all, but the fact that I still stood as a complete loner in the entire building completely and totally sucked. As I dragged my feet into class, totally disregarding everything around me, I shoved myself in a desk in the back row of the classroom. My eyes gazed around the room and stopped carelessly on a girl who was seemingly interested in a guy leaning forward in his chair. I hesitated a moment before leaning up in my own, watching dutifully at the girl.

That's when she did it. She kicked her foot on the bar of the guys' chair and didn't even look halfway concerned at the fault she carried. It wasn't like the guy was asking for it! ... well, I actually didn't know for sure if he wanted to end up on the ground, but the thought! The nerve of her!

Standing up from my seat as her foot collided with the chair, I raised my hand to grasp her attention and called: "Hey! What do you think you're doing? You wouldn't want that done to you, would you?!" I didn't even know the girl, but she struck a nerve. And that nerve was getting the better of me.

Shay smiled warmly in response to the accusatory glares, "I have poor impulse control, but I'm working on it," she offered up innocently as an explanation, "He was leaning, you're taught not to do that as akid for this exact reason. So far as I can tell, I was teaching him a life lesson, like when your mom tells you not to touch the hot stove." The petite blonde stated this all in a very matter of fact tone.

"I'm Shay, by the way," she bowed low and curtsied.

"I wasn't acting aggressively and I have no desire to hurt him. If I had, I would've thrown him out a window or kicked him around a bit once I shoved his chair," the girl said plainly, "I'm just teaching him not to lean. I'll apologize if it'll make you fell better, though." As crazy as her actions were, Shay acted from some strange path of logic and really had no malicious intent, she just had a few screws loose.

I mean, sure, it was a problem for her but as she told us why she had pushed him on the ground; it was awkward. Continuing to lean forward in my own chair, i stared at them as their conversation gree. My face slowly grew a bright shade of red as the realization grew. I literally felt bad. "Im sorry..." i whispered as I started to sit back in my own chair and slouch into myself. How could I jump to such conclusions!

It didnt matter what she said about it, i was still completely humiliated by the entire thing. I shouldnt have called her out on something that she thought logical. Even though it clearly wasnt; it was for her. And thats all that mattered... not mine and Abs inputs.

Smiling shyly I looked up at Abs. "I probably wont be able to get coffe..." Except right on that last word that fell from my lips; i realized she hadnt even invited me for coffee. Only Shay. ((Thankyou, :) ))

"It's a pleasure, Terri," the teenager summoned her warmest smile, and offered a slender hand to shake. The girl had often been teased or overlooked because of her diminutive size, and perhaps because of this, she had formed a very bold, forceful personality. "No coffee? You don't like coffee? Or you have prior obligations?" Running thin fingers through her bottle-blonde hair, the girl's lip pouted in thought. "I mean, we could do something else if you're so inclined. What do you like to do?" It didn't seem to matter to her that there was hardly time to breath, much less actually answer her between questions.

After awhile, a girl whose name I did not know, whirled around and sneered in our direction. I would have said something to her if it wasn't for the fact I was already completely nervous and humiliated with myself. She was definitely being a jerk and I didn't like that.
