Depiction of the Vaskian system, just south of Varangis in the galactic west.

Naturally a dull metal, Vaskium transmutes into a powerful sublight fuel in high pressure environments, like planet cores. Vaskium is extremely rare due to the special conditions needed for it's formation in star cores. The crumbling Varangian Empire viciously defends this valuable export, it's lifeline, and reason for financial and military support by the Interstellar Senate.

Inked drawing of a Saiv militiawoman. The coloring didn't turn out quite how I wanted, and I wasn't prepared to do the face; I hope it's OK.

The Saiv are the predominant race of an empire that has colonised or conquered tens of thousands of star systems. They are a human analogue, which means they are one of the races in known space that are almost identical to humans in appearance. Their definining features are their long, balancing tails, carnassial molars and flourescent irises.

On their dusty, metal-deficient homeworld resources are scarce and water is largely limited to the seas in the subtropical regions. A militaristic, tribal society exists in which the protectors of a tribe's interests, and ultimately urban militia, hold significant political power. In a modern version of this culture, power within the Empire as a whole lies with the spaceborne navy and the Emperors who hold it's support.

Different militias of different colonies, most being small, poverty-stricken mining outposts, have their own cultural preferences seperate from those on the homeworld. They're mostly maintained through tradition since only the navy can afford proper warships. On the homeworld militia members wear trenchcoats, some taking up employment as rangers, roaming the many lawless wastelands to seek out and defend against raider bands. This woman belongs to a homeworld militia.

Planet Griffith in the Alpha Centauri AB system.

Griffith was found by a human cryosleep vessel in 2057 A.D. It is a lush garden world lying within the habitable band of it's parent stars, boasting a breathable nitrogen-oxygen atmosphere and environments ideal for human habitation. Not suprisingly, it was immediately settled with priority above all other bodies in the system.

While essentially perfect, Griffith does experience a warm period when it crosses over the system's barycentre, in it's figure-eight orbit. The planet's tropical and equatorial regions alternate between humid and arid climates throughout the local year.

Griffith has two moons. Feynman is a regolith-coated barren rock, similar to Luna back in the Solar System, while Bose is dense enough to retain an atmosphere and is overrun by dense jungle.

Teh Alchera System.

Alchera Prime, a former Xin'Ta'Faxi colony, is the largest moon of the gas dwarf Hydakia, which follows an orbit fringing the outer edge of Alchera's habitable zone. The star itself is a white F-class star with a surface temperature of 6,100 K; hurowever, due to the abundance of icy debris fields, it illuminates the system in a haze of cyan.

The moon is rich in heavy metals and radioactives, prompting the Xin'Ta'Faxi to colonise the moon in 2278. While naturally very uninhabitable, due to the radiation being emitted from it's parent gas dwarf and the constant bombardment by ice asteroids, it does have massive oceans of liquid water. The moon is surrounded by a ridiculously expensive energy shield to combat the deadly local weather; to date, no Imperium agent has managed to extract information regarding the source of their funding.

During the Aeil Deos invasion all contact with the colony was lost. It's present state is unknown.

As far as my concept goes, diabolic sigils are the unique symbol of a devil. Most devils do not have them; only the most powerful do. They are used as signatures in matters of court in Medére (Hell), signatures at the bottom of diabolic pacts with unsuspecting mortals (written in blood of course), personal banners, or slavery brands.

If you were a lord (or lady) among devils you would have a personal sigil like this.

It literally means your name or "Kris" in this case. :D If rendered in the Infernal language "Kris" becomes "Eyhas" written as (prototypically):

Kris is rendered as Eyhas because it's morphemes changes from English to Infernal. White is a word, so it might simply be translated:

Āngwah

The macron over the A stretches out the vowel so it would be pronounced Aahngwah.
