Right now all I've got it a sketch/thumb for the next thing I've cooked up.
deadline is 17th due to it being a special drawing for a challange issued by Bill Presing a storyboard artist from Pixar to the viewers of a video-cast I watch called the Chiu stream. :3 Challange is "Pin-up" girls.
And I chose a few of my RP characters and actually one of Cheshires too!

not much done today slapped down some color on that pin-up thumbnail and cleaned the sketch up. and I messed up on the deadline. from the site it says

I thought it was the 17th D: shows how much I need to pay attention!

and I believe I am done with this peice for now in this space and time. I submitted it to the Chiu Stream Bill Presing challange with four hours to spare at the cost of forgetting what time I should have gone to sleep ~ugh~

Gonna keep my chin up gladiator style even if I don't ring in a victory!
(I totally misenterpeted the challange title. like the date. it's "Pin up girl" not "Pin-up girls" ) the interview on the chiu stream might be more than a ton of help to graphic noveling. since the guy's a storyboard artist too. :O

(Not getting my hopes up but this is pretty cool to hope for! (http://billpresing.blogspot.com/2009/12/prize-fight.html) :eager: )

I'll see about hosting these somewhere else after again more power to my brain core is restored in case anyone wants to see these larger or higher quality. detail shots are always an option but I try to make sure not to break the forums!

One of my ooooold RP characters. dateing back about three years ago on the Second Life Engine. I still RP her every now and again (She's the active manager of the Crisis Core timeline Echo bar in Junon so it's a bit mandatory for me to show up once in a while XD)

Tried out a different way of coloring today. felt a bit weird just using flat color instead of rendering heavily. D:

Sort of idealizeing what I want to do for my Balistic publishing's EXPOSÉ 8 entry. I may end up needing to redraw this and fix it so it's "Rule of Thirdsy" (http://features.cgsociety.org/story_custom.php?story_id=3275&page=1)enough or compositionally sound enough for Fine art. XD

but at least I've got a bit of an idea down. and perhaps a bit more to fit into what i've seen in previous Balistic books. maybe a scene change through the side going from a dreamy fluffy world to a mechanical outside of comfort zones type of place.

Apologies for the lack of updates. Holidays and old friends I hadn't seen in four years and new years eve blindsided me XD

I've got a hefty list of things to do and it never gets shorter. includeing making a schedule wallpaper
(Based off Valve's portal. nothing better to remind you that you have to work than a wallpaper saying it'll give you cake made out of lies if you finish an illustration on time ~rofl~ )

Heres a bit of a more polished illustration I did in october for a Chiu Stream challange. I need to get back on watching those so I can be SUPER MOTIVATED and energized all the time instead of playing through Dragon Age origins five times in the last month XD

having a hard time grasping the logic in it. aside from studying what the old masters did while they painted and their brush strokes and techniques and a different way to about it that's just fine. but trying to get into their heads as to why they were painting or what their exact thoughts were while painting each stroke. I may be wrong in questioning it but a majority of the time it literally could have translated into "I should take a dump soon." or "I must finish this painting or my family will starve". from one extreme to the next and middletones barred with frustration that's translated from the old ages to the very period of today- and I'm rambling ~rofl~

but at the very least I was able to do a technique study today of someone I have watched before I started painting.

The character itself is a character I still RP today by the name of Ekiri. with her fancy materia eye and upper lip that's always painted blue.

And here is the final of my many sketches to figure out how to compose this image. loosely refrenced from my previous very candylike picture I asure you all there will be candy when it is all done. just had to fancy and "Fine art" it up some more. now onto perilous rendering.Task at hand now is to figure out how much is statue how much is person, what TYPE of material the statue is throw in the hair and a bunch of boring things that makes me sound ramblish. -monocle-

Here is my stab at making a Drell-Esque character from this morning, but it does need alot of work.
(Stop looking like Thane dangit!)
The Drell being a race from Mass Effect, omnivorous reptile like humanoids.
I like the fictional Drell race more than a person probably should
but still within normal bounds, I label it under exessive character design obsesion with floating hearts.
though troubleing thing is; even though it's probably unlikely I feel i'm the only one who likes them. -graah- + -_-
