~Story~


There’s at least one in every RP, that one character that either does not fit within the story or simply cannot play fair or abide to the laws of physics. They’re either annoyingly cliché to no end or just make no sense and have questionable unlimited and unimaginative power. It’s that character that ruins RPs, that character that makes people discuss its poorly written character sheet, and it’s that character that seems like a total rip off of that popular anime show or video game everyone has been talking about in the past week.

In the world of RP characters, there’s a place for all. In the Grand Council of RP Characters, only the most imaginative, ground breaking, most original three-dimensional characters make the majority of the decisions for the rest of the RP characters. It’s more or less a dictatorship, none of the other characters have any say but no one really seems to have any objection to any of their decisions.

Originally, each poorly thought character was to be sentenced to pit of rotating knifes, but new UN human rights laws forbid any such action to take place. However, the Council decided to segregate every unimaginative character to a small village where they could live happily, and hopefully explode…

This village was called Godmod Village. Will you live in it? Or will you try to escape…


~Godmod Village~


Nothing too special or exciting, actually it is your typical village. There’s a town square with a somewhat large community town hall in the centre. One main street leading down an array of typical weapon/armour/bakery/Inn shops and boutiques. The entire village seemed to go for a northern European sort of style for the buildings… nothing too original there.

To the west of the village a large lake could be found, and north a small typical unimaginative forest that sigh with unimaginative boredom. An arena can be found to the east while to the south… nothing, there is nothing special or interesting to the south of the village.

There’s no sure road to enter or exit the village, most of it’s citizens simply appear due to lack of imagination on any sure-fire entrance that would make sense. It’s a village that leaves room for gross and ridiculous non-sensible expansion, who knows what kind of crap will appear in this village as time passes.

In short, it’s a village that follows the rules of the unimaginative creators of these cliché characters… nothing too special here.


~Races~


The Cliché: Their past has been told over and over again, nothing original with this character. Most commonly a farmboy who’s adopted parents were murdered by some bad guy therefore declared war and gain ridiculous powers to fight evil. There are many kinds of cliché characters, which one will you be?

The Adaptation: The character who’s abilities, personality, and appearance matches one of a well known popular anime/videogame character who’s only difference is the name. Most likely a total rip-off, there are many kinds of these characters lurking around.

The Overpowered: A character who simply cannot put rhyme or reason behind whatever abilities they have. More often they make up their own abilities on the spot, and carry convenient items that always save the day and break the rules of physics.

The Random: Makes no sense… has no logical category other then this one…

Profession: Bringing darkness to the world, in amusing and entertaining ways.
Powers: Basement Cat knows no limits to his powers, which include the ability to use the eye-lids of his enemies as disc launchers and summon legions of darkness from the underworld.

Bio: When God created light, the first shadow was born, and from that shadow, Basement Cat was born; Rising from the depths of Hell to seek revenge on the world for no particular reason, Basement Cat continually battles against his arch nemesis, Ceiling Cat, for world domination. When the powers that be determined that Basement Cat was not compatible with the world of reasoning, he was banished to Godmod Village, where he spends his day doing his best to terrorise its other citizens, albeit with limited success.

Bio: Mary-Sue was born full-grown! She came from a tree! Her beauty inspired the elven villages to worship at her feet as a goddess. And indeed Mary-Sue is a goddess. Her village was burned down by the evil humans. Every elf died but Mary-Sue was a goddess she could not be killed. Vowing for revenge she travelled to the human villages. Upon arrival Mary-Sue suddenly lost all memory of her her village! Oh no! But it was decided that Goddess Mary-Sue was much to powerful for the world of mere mortals. She was banished to the God-Mod village where she errected a beautiful temple for herself and ascended her rightful place as Goddess once more.


Because a god-mod village is never complete without one.

As ridiculous as I could make it. And I have to admit...it was rather hard to dig up newbish instincts such as those.

Race: Nosferatu (In terms of classification Adaptation/Overpowered
Profession: Monster hunter

Powers: Expert marksman, In possession of several weapons that humans are unable to wield, Able to speak numerous current and ancient languages, Able to take near total damage and still regenerate, Able to turn body parts into weapons, Able to turn body parts into shadow familiars, Able to summon up the souls of consumed enemies into corporeal entities, Able to survive off of blood, able to consume souls, superhuman speed, strength, and agility, not immune to normal vampiric weaknesses. (<OOC> Jesus Christ! These are all actually powers that the character has IN CANON, I didn't make any of these up! </OOC>) Complete control over, including manifestation of, shadows.

Bio: Cain got turned into a vampire a long timeago and as soon as he did he was conpletely badass. he started off by eating all of the idiots that tryed to kill him the frist time, and then he laughed about it from there he just killed and ate his way thru all of europe for like 3000 years. but then when he was sleeping this dick named hellsing showed up and caught him and cain was like WTF HAX and then when his grandauter showed up liek 200 years later instead of helping her he ate her and then ate like everybody else in the house as well. then he he walked out of the building and somehow found himself in this stupid little village and he can;t figure out why he cant leave.

Powers: Nothing is beyond his power, he exists in all times and is bound to no single code of physics.
Appearance: Commonly just looks like a Graxiphian, an oversized eel with legs and arms. However, he is bound to no single form.
Bio: He was a jolly Journeyman before his death. Though after death, his consciousness was transferred into a cloud of nanites. After a while, he ticked off an alien door that kicked him out of the multiverse. He hung out there for awhile as he tried to figure out how to get back. Physics are inconsistent in the omniverse, so he had to learn how to adapt. Upon his return he found himself able to alter the laws of physics as he saw fit, at least locally, and over a short span of time, he came to become a god.

Yes, it's Rydia, the strangest and most cliche character in Final Fantasy history. And yes, that includes Rosa. Bonus points for me!
Bio: When she was eight years old, her village was burned to the ground, but she was miraculously able to escape thanks to one of her monster pals. Soon after, though, she was swallowed by a giant sea serpent and somehow ended up in the land of monsters, where they took her in and raised her as one of their own, and where she aged at least twelve years in a matter of days. She's not quite sure how she ended up here, but it must be some sort of mistake. No worries though, because her cuddly and not-so-cuddly friends will help her escape this awful place.

Appearance: Step 1: draw original Pac-man. Step 2: Add kirby arms feet and eyes. Step 3: Change Kirby eyes to red, add eyebrows. Step 4: Giant Ultimate Chimera teeth, add them.
Bio: Munchy was a chimera created to eat pollution. He was made a blatant idiot so that he would not revolt and destroy the world with his Ultimate Chimera power. Another invention of the scientists did revolt and took Munchy with him. Munchy eventually learned to think on his own and became independent. Ever since then he has vowed to take over the world, but has not actually even made any attempts at doing so. He has, however, caused a great deal of random destruction in his life.


On a side note I do actually use this character quite often, but as a comedy relief character and not a serious villain.
