Twirling and Whirling
We all dance through life,
We are all Dancers

But you,
You stopped
The spotlight was just on you

Why?
It was your solo
Your chance to shine.

And yet you passed it up,
And let someone try to take your place
Didn't I tell you no one could be you?

Didn't I love you enough?
Couldn't I stop you?
Don't you know my heart is bleeding?

Yet I must Dance on
All alone without my partner,
We are all Dancers

And I want to stop
I want to give up,
You aren't here to catch my tears

I won't give up
I have to finish the Dance
Because if I don't

I will be like you,
And I will never know how the Dance ends
We are all Dancers

The show is over,
I must take my bow
Will you be waiting? Just back stage?

A/N: Alrighty this poem is several things for me. It's a reconciliation of someone close to me who ended up killing themself. And it was cathartic writing it out I cried several times. But also it gave me the will to move on and as the poem says "finish the Dance". So anyways I hope you enjoy. ^^
