Name of Race: Elysian
Physical Traits: All Elysians possess pure white skin, back sclera, and black teeth and nails. Iris colors very from shades of red to shades of purple even though yellows are the most seen among the common Elysians.

Homeland: They hail from Elysium, a land that shares jungle land and frozen wastes. The Elysians populate both areas, drawing strength from the various hardships presented by both climates. Elysium’s jungles and rainforests are veritable paradises of greenery and life. However, the trees have been known to move. The movement is slight, but it happens and every so often, new trails must be forged.

Racial Strengths: Along with being physically powerful, Elysians are excellent magicians and sorcerers. In fact, they are the most magically adept race. The Elysians who dwell in the jungles also make excellent trackers and hunters while the Elysians of the frost are particularly hardy.

Racial Weaknesses: Violence. Elysians, by nature, are a violent lot. Not to one another, no that has not happened for thousands of years, they are brash, hot-headed, and rough edged to others.

Cultural Practices: The Elysians give all praise to The Old One. For it was he who shaped the world and gave life to the Elysians, the first people. The Old One is represented, not by a man, but by a great and powerful tree. Elysian faith teaches that the Old One slumbers at the heart of the world and all fallen Elysians go to join him in his sleep until the Great Awakening.

Outside of the religion, it is very common for Elysians to take up to three wives. There is a base caste system in place that every Elysian accepts. The Merchant caste makes up the largest part of the population. Next is the Warrior caste, and finally the Priests and Nobles. There is no worker caste as they are included with the Merchants.

History: Since time immemorial, the Elysians have lived. They are guardians of magic and old knowledge. At one time, Elysians walked with beings that could only be called Gods. They witnessed the birth and death of worlds and peoples far from their home. With the knowledge they had, the ancient Elysians built mergings of magic and technology, creating great cities on their island home.

However, such happiness must end. And end it did. Elysians turned on each other. They why has never been truly known, but what is known is that a great and magical people slaughtered each other for centuries. The war the Elysians visited on each other saw the summoning of great beasts from beyond the mortal veil. It was using these creatures that turned part of Elysium into a land of frost and ice.

And only a few knew the dangers. A group of Elysians called the Harbingers, led by the one who used to be the Elysian king, opened the eyes of their people to the dangers of the abyssal monsters they brought forth. The Elysians united and turned their magic on the demons they summoned.

They pushed the demons back. They sealed their hubris back where it belonged. But, the Harbingers always wondered if the door could be opened again.

Under their king, it was declared that Elysians would never again make war on themselves. The king turned his eyes to the rest of the world. With the restoration of Elysium’s peace, they took their weapons and took on the rest of the world.

That was a long time ago. Elysians no longer rule the world. They remain a great power, but their borders end at the coastlines of their continent.

Name of Race: Orcen(Or Boar Folk)
Physical Traits: Orcen (http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q173/sigma830/Aliens/alien-593.png) stand 1.8 meters, and a large majority typically are squat, green and heavily built, although not all share these characteristics. some have a dark greenish coloration over a large portion of their bodies. however skin coloration does vary, particularly among females, with light skinned and two-toned pigmentation not uncommon. Black, brown, pinkish yellow, and even a rare white pigmentation were possible. Eye coloration varies evenly between gold-yellow, blue, black and brown. horns are mostly a male trait, with very few women to to be born with them. a horned female is considered valuable and a sign that they are gifted with abilities of supernatural proportions.

Despite the generally assuming view of the orcen's appearance. not all Orcen are heavy and squat. some individuals are comparatively lean and tall, they are however, a small minority.

Homeland: The Tir-Na Islands, a chain of eight islands located off the coast of the main continent. each island is under the control of a orcen clan. the islands vary in environments, five of them, Naor, Akgard, Rogodion, Groogunn ,and Jukschis are Lush Jungles, while Trughtar and Ormin are Barren, Rocky Deserts. the Largest of the Islands, Hroag being a mix of the two.
Racial Strengths: The Orcen are renowned melee fighters. with thanks to centuries of clan warfare, the Orcen are tested warriors who fight best with melee weapons.
Racial Weaknesses: The Orcen are a divided people who are at constant war with one another. they are also not the most magically adept race.
Cultural Practices: Orcen are generally an Honor-bound race, each of the eight Orcen clans however have different personalities. some, such as Clans Akgard, Naor, Ormin and Trughtar have rigid, spartan beliefs and never shy away from killing. All members of these clans are expected to pull their own weight and weakness is considered a grave liability which would result in exile. clans such as Hroag, Rogodion and Groogunn are notable for having brought a measure of mercy and compassion, abandoning their old warlike ways and wish to open relations with the other races and wish to no longer be seen as marauders. the clan of Jukschis are rather reclusive and shrouded in mysterym rumors say they have adopted a bizarre religion, one that disturbingly is similar to that of the Barbarians of the Frozen Wastes.

Orcens prize honor over all other things in life. first to bring honor to their clan and secondly bringing honor to the self and to their sense of self-worth as an individual. hospitality(at least to the Hroag, Rogodion and Groogunn Clans) is considered one of the greatest honors that can be bestowed.

The Orcen as well are Religiously diverse, some clinging to their old shamanistic Beliefs, while others adopt the human religions.

History: Long ago, Orcens were once slaves to Elysium, used as cannon fodder in their wars of conquest. it was until the civil war that the Orcen were free, however they were not at peace. as soon as their Elysian Masters left them to their own devices, the Orcens formed into small tribes all across the island chain. each vying for control of their respective islands, and were at constant odds. many centuries after, each tribe fell before much stronger ones and gathered strength, soon the dominant tribes formed into powerful clans named after their first Warchiefs, as well as naming the islands after their clan.

When the Orcen were discovered once more, this time by Humans, they were instantly met with violence, killing a few of the explorers and perusing the others to the main land, with led to the eventual Orcen Invasion, an army numbering nearly in the hundreds of thousands touched upon the coasts of the continent, and ravaged the lands for nearly a decade before the human kingdoms untied in an effort to push back the Orcen army.

Many years after the war, remnants of rouge Orcen "clans" remained, raiding and pillaging settlements on the main land. while the Orcen in their home islands faced a series of changes, such as several clans trying to establish good relations to their old enemies and others, as well as clans once again waged war on one another.

Name of Race:

Draca

Physical Traits:
The Draca are human in appearance, except that they have many traits of a dragon; including draconic wings, pointed ears, reptilian eyes, sharp claws, fangs and patches of scales. They have as many variations in colour and body type as their father race, the Dragons, and they are much stronger than an average human. Some rare Draca go even further, with scales instead of skin, tails and being cold blooded even, becoming almost Humanoid dragons. Female Draca often lack wings though.

Homeland:
The Asthlare Continent and the Draca Isles

Racial Strengths:
The Draca are much stronger than humans, and most of them can fly as well. They are natural warriors, and they have long lives, with more than double the life span of a human. They are also all born with a trace of magical power, though sometimes it is so weak that it is useless.

Racial Weaknesses:
The Draca are hot headed and anger easily, sometimes even frighteningly fast, and male Draca can’t wear proper clothing or armour on their torsos, because of their wings. Draca are also cursed (or blessed?) with the inability to lie knowingly and they are unable to kill Dragons without the blessing of the Dragon Lords.

Cultural Practices:
The Draca live mainly with other species, adopting their own cultural practices. But almost all Draca believe the Dragons and the God Mahak and the Goddess Daha to be the only things worth worshiping; finding a Draca that worships another god is almost impossible.

History:
The Draca were created by the Goddess Daha and the God Mahak to fill the Draca Isles as a favour to the first Dragon Lord. The Dragon Lord was given one wish when he was birth, and he said that he wished that a species that was like him, yet not like him, and which would never turn on him existed. The God and Goddess fulfilled their promise, and created the first two Draca from the Dragon Lords mate’s two eggs, creating the species and blessing them with magical powers for all eternity.

From then on the Draca have interacted with the Gods and Dragon Lords much. Mahak walked with the Draca much in the first years of the world and he taught the ancient Draca many secrets about the Gods and about Magic. Then he left the Draca and Daha descended to walk with them, teaching them the secrets of beauty potions and of love potions and magic’s before she too left them. And before she left, she gave them her promise that she would always protect their race, and to this day the Horn of Daha is handed down to each of the Draca King’s upon his ascension to the throne and anyone who blows the horn can summon the God Mahak and the Goddess Daha to protect the Draca race.

After this time the Draca lived peacefully, reigned over by the Dragon Lord and their chosen King, for many century’s. Until the people of Prometheses rebelled against the Dragon Lord; this great crime caused the King of the Draca to march upon Prometheses, taking with him his main army. Together with the Dragon Lords, they smashed Prometheses, splitting the land apart with great magic and forces and turning it in to a shattered sprinkling of islands. Once again the Draca returned to a time of relative peace, only minor civil wars breaking out for an entire millennia and only a few pirates to worry the kingdoms borders. That was until the Gods enchanted the Dragon Lords in to a deep slumber, and the Age of Despair erupted. The Draca were outraged, and many temples were ransacked and burnt in retaliation, and entire monasteries massacred. The King was struck down by Mahak, his entire city burnt to a molten lake by the Gods anger and the Draca nation began to fall apart. Dukes and Earls and Barons warred over land and the Temples became warring powers as well. Pirates began to attack deep in to the land, and two great Wizards began to fight, sinking many of the small islands that surrounded the Draca Isles.

All of this war turned the heart of the species against the gods, and Daha began to falter as her worshiper’s streamed away from her temples. Once she was even attacked by a Wizard and badly wounded. This prompted the Gods to bring the Dragon Lord out of his slumber, and he slowly restored peace to the Draca, and Asthlare as well. And so the current time came around.

Name of Race: Stygians

Physical Traits: The color of their scales range from shades of dark green to gray to even black. They're tails usually extend to around a meter long and are used to give them balance. The mouths of a Stygian is more similiar to that of shark than that of a reptile, due to it usually being host to rows of hundreds of teeth that replace each other when lost.

Stygians always wear the rags from before they were banished although they're exceptional armor still proves to retain it's old quality. Stygian armor pieces are said to be made from adamantium, an indestructible metal.

Homeland: Svartálfaheimr/Múspellsheimr

Racial Strengths: They are a powerful race that could potentially conquer the world if left unchecked. Highly skilled in both magic, and combat makes them a force to surely be reckoned with. Luckily, however the gods have cursed them by severely limiting their inherent magical prowess once they walk above the surface.

Racial Weaknesses: Aside from the curse that they have been stricken by as a race, they often also suffer from insanity from living in the treacherous underworld that they themselves created.

Cultural Practices: At birth each Stygian babe is put under tests and trials. Any defects will warrant the taking of it's life. Once they have been proven healthy they are than put under constant surveillance by Stygian priests who will determine which part of the caste system they are destined for. The caste system is split between surfs, warriors, priests, mages, and the position of God-King himself, in that order of power.

History: They once ruled over the vast city of Svartálfaheimr, where the towers were to have said to reach the heavens. All other races bowed before the Stygian race and were rightfully used as slaves to help build the great city. However there came a time when the Stygians had attempted to use their magical prowess to truly make themselves gods, and actual divine powers took offense so abruptly sunk Svartálfaheimr and laying a curse upon the race. The slave races than rebelled and forced the Stygians deeper into the ruins of the old city, and ruled over the surface world that was now to be called, Múspellsheimr.

Name of Race: Lohikäärme, or what they are more commonly referred to as Dragons.

Physical Traits: Although they are famous for being reptilian due to having a scaly epidermis and reproduction through eggs, due to both their biology and behavior they more closely resemble felines, especially large cats such as lions and panthers. At the very least their posture, bone structure, movements are similar. Other similarities between the draconian and feline creatures are that they are both warm blooded and nearly the same eye composition.

The color of their scales can range to nearly any shade on the spectrum including metallic colors like gold and silver. A dragons wingspan depends on on it's environment and it's actual need to fly for some dragons don't fly at all. Dragons vary in size but almost always at least larger than your average sized house. Often they are born with unique combinations of fins and horns, which can be used to distinguish two dragons of the same color.

Dragons are famous for their powerful magic, and often use it to polymorph themselves into other sentient races in order to mingle among them. Usually it's to further ulterior motives, but on occasion dragons will actually enjoy being who they deceiving everyone to believe and will remain in their polymorphed form for years, decades, and perhaps even centuries.

Homeland: It is said that they originated in Niflheim, but it has yet to be proven. They are however known frequent both Niflheim, and Múspellsheimr sometimes even Asthlare and the Draca Isles although not many.

Racial Strengths: Sheer power. They are symbols of power within nearly every realm, and know it. A dragons size, and strength would be enough to kill you strongest warriors but that added to their breath weapon and inherent ability to take flight makes them nearly impossible to kill even with an entire army at your back. For this reason any who slay dragon will forever be celebrated as a great hero and warrior.

Aside from their combat prowess they are also calculating and intelligent, often plotting and fiddling into the affairs of mortals. Some of the more powerful dragons can cast spells, and speak in many different languages other than Draconian.

Racial Weaknesses: Due to their extremely long lifespans which almost borders on immortality, many dragons have found themselves bored. This makes them very curious creatures to anything that is even remotely interesting. This could be used to trick a dragon, but be aware that in no way is a dragon stupid and if your found out be prepared to meet an untimely doom.

Cultural Practices: Despite occasionally being apart of clans, they still remain a very ungregarious people often intentionally creating their lairs leagues away from each other. They are highly territorial and will destroy entire landscapes to drive away any supposed invaders including other dragons.

Dragons like any predator has very acute senses that only get better with age save for their sense of touch which diminishes as their scales get thicker. Depending on the dragon in question their actually tastes can be especially different from one another for while some may prefer flesh others prefer stone and other minerals. They have even been rumors of dragons who are entirely herbivores.

History: Not much is actually known about the species other than what can be studies through "friendly" dragons, and already dead dragons. It has concluded however that their origin had something to do with gods themselves.

--------------------------------------------------

Name of Race: Dökkálfar, or dark elves.

Physical Traits: They have beautiful smooth skin just like their light skinned counter-parts but are afflicted with pitch black, almost purple skin. Eye color can range from gray, red to a bright purple which indicates magical power. Their hair is either black, gray or snow white and are often made into strange hairstyles which are uncommon on the surface. The hairstyles symbolize a dark elf's house and social class.

Homeland: It is said that they once lived in Álfheimr, the heavenly land of the elves but were banished and currently reside in the ancient ruins of Svartálfaheimr.

Racial Strengths: As a race they fight for their own survival within the cavernous Stygian halls, so only the strongest live to see another day while the weak are left to rot. Although not as skilled as the Stygians, a dark elf warrior however is still a worthy opponent to anyone on the surface. There aren't many dark elf mages for it is very lowly respected class, and in it's are the priestesses that draw from dark gods. Dark Elf assassins are also highly revered in society for they have the true pull in politics.

Racial Weaknesses: Dark Elf society is filled with murder and treachery. A general rule is that you can trust no one, and it is due to this infighting that destroys any chances they have at conquering even the rest of the underground labyrinth. They also have weak eyes that aren't used to the sun, and will take a few days of getting used to.

Cultural Practices: It's society is split into Houses and Clans which are in basically noble families which constant fight to rule. Due to this most Dark Elves have adopted a survival of the fittest attitude. Assassinations are an everyday occurrence, and so are sacrifices to the gods.

History: Once they were Ljósálfar, or light elves, but after one of the most trusted elves had lead an uprising against the Elders in a coup he and his followers were banished from the Land of Light onto the deserts of Múspellsheimr where they eventually found refuge from the harsh conditions within the ancient ruined city, Svartálfaheimr.

Name of Race:
The Asthlare.

Physical Traits:
The Asthlare are tall, lean and dangerous. They have the look of a predator, and they are just that. They have sharp claws, and deadly fangs and the eyes of a Asthlare can temporality paralyse a man if the owner of the eyes wishes it so. They have huge feathered wings, which seemingly soak up light around them and which are not only pitch black, but almost a ... void; a nothingness in the shape of feathers. When looking at them you feel like your looking in to the very abyss.
Their wings can reach almost 10 meters in wingspan. Each feather on their wings are magically infused to be harder than steel and a sharp as a finely honed blade, but as light as... well a feather.
Every Asthlare also has a single feather that grows out of their skull, and which is normally a strange and wonderful colour, for example: Dark green, purple, dark blue or even violet or hot pink are just some colours. They also have long, slender, scaled tails, but ones which are tipped with a spray of colourful feathers, which are normally the same colour as the feather in their hair. It is common for both the tail and head feathers to glow in the dark.

Asthlare also all have delicately scaled throats, thighs, under-arms, palms and the soles of their feet are also scaled. These scales are tiny and delicate which are so fine that they still almost feel like skin to the touch and which are only for decoration; they also happen to change colour, shade and sometimes patterns will appear on the scales, coming and going with the mood of the Asthlare in question.

Homeland:
Known only as The Kingdom, it was a vast continent that is now lost to time; the much smaller continent of Asthlare and the Draca Isles are all that remains of their home land.

Racial Strengths:
Asthlare can paralyse a mortal with their gaze, if they wish so, and they also have inhuman strength. An Asthlare can shift his or her form in to any Humanoid being they wish, though they can't increase their own size by very much at all; at most they can make themselves half a foot taller. There are also many Asthlare who can wield magic, though actual masters of this power are rare. The Asthlare can live for many millennia as well, though disease and other harm befalls them just as any other mortal species.

Racial Weaknesses:
The Asthlare are rare, almost extinct in fact, and they also have no tolerance for Stygians, Titans, Dark Elves, or most other 'dark' species. An Asthlare will feel physically sick if forced to be in the company of any one of these beings for more than a single day, and far before that they will begin to feel irrationally angry.

Cultural Practices:
The Asthlare have no solid society, but the God Gudbrandr is sacred to them. They mainly mix in with the normal society of the time and realm that they happen to be in, hiding themselves in disguises as any number of beings. Many Asthlare pull the strings of power across the world, taking their places as Royal Advisers, Generals and Royal Courtiers, and some have even taken noble titles for themselves. The occasional Asthlare also becomes a successful merchant, spy, diplomat or governor and almost every Asthlare is rich beyond the dreams of many a man, including many of the world’s monarchs.
A lot of the world’s Asthlare feed much of their money in to various secret sects, societies and organizations, who steal, buy or guard magical relics, build temples to Gudbrandr, and research ancient, long since lost spells, technologies and battle techniques. It is rumoured that the Asthlare are responsible for many of the libraries, archives, academies and museums started by Kings and Emperors; which they 'advised' those same Kings to build.

History:
The Asthlare are highly secretive, only popping up in the mythology of Ashaheim occasionally, and never being confirmed to exist. It is said that the Gods themselves know very little of The Asthlare, and no being has met an Asthlare knowingly for the last thousand years. But the myths say that once they ruled a great kingdom, which spread over a great continent that no longer exist. It was said that Pilgrims would come to this great Kingdom from across the world and ask advice of its great King and its Priests and Wise men, and that merchants would literally drool at the sight of an object made in The Kingdom. The Kings and Princes and Emperors of the world were consumed with jealously by the sight of the Kingdoms riches, and eventually an alliance of the most powerful rulers in the entire world marched on the Kingdom of the Asthlare.

They were led by Generals from every race, and the Dragons themselves joined the army in its attack. The world’s most powerful Wizards and Mages and Witches all took up arms and even one of the Gods, who was much annoyed at not being worshipped in The Kingdom, joined the battle, granting great powers to the leaders of this army. People were said to be able to see the great sea of soldiers from miles away as it crossed the world, and when the ships carrying the army poured across the sea to The Kingdom's continent, it was said that the sea was obscured by the ships and that ships were still pulling out of the coast of one continent when the first ships reached the other side of the sea and began offload the army.

The Kingdom erupted in panic, it is said. Villagers of all types fled before the wall of death that was bearing down on them, and nobles committed suicide as soon as they saw the army approach their manors and castles. The army burnt every tree, crop and building it passed, and they looted and massacred the villages, towns and castles they came upon. They even massacred monasteries and holy refuges.
Soon they came upon the Great City, and they besieged it, throwing attacks of all types at it; The god who had helped the army threw divine attacks at the city, and the Wizards and Mages attacked with powerful magic’s, and the mere mortal beings hurled boulders and flaming arrows at the city, and the Dragons, Demons, Titans and other strange beings who had allied with them began to rip the walls of the City down brick by brick; smashing through protective spells and shields and killing those who manned the walls.
It is also said that so many died that day that the God of Hell spent seventy years just reorganizing hell to fit them all in.

When it had all passed the entire Continent of The Kingdom had been destroyed, split apart in to islands and much smaller continents, and some of it just sunk to the bottom of the sea... And so Asthlare and the Draca Islands were created from the wreckage, and The Asthlare species became almost extinct.

Name of Race: Pragarian (Prag)
Physical Traits: Dark brown to almost black skin. Hair color ranges between darker shades of red brown and black. Feathers grow naturally from their scalp. Dark solid colored feathers are seen mostly on men and lighter more vibrant mixes of colors are seen on women. Their Arms are more muscular than human arms and their arms are on average 6-7 inches longer than human arms.
Homeland: Prag's comes from a tall almost inaccessible archipelago composed entirely of wave beaten rock spires. Their homes are even comprised of small caves and makeshift villages hanging off the cliffs. This archipelago
Racial Strengths: Immensely strong and dangerous foes. Their long muscular arms make them outstanding climbers.
Racial Weaknesses: The Pragarians have a small population count. Ages ago part of the human race interbred with a humanoid avian race and created the Pragarian's as a result certain genetic disorders developed that made them only able to reproduce once per person. And due to the hostile nature of their homeland kept their population low. The Pragarian race is quite literally several thousand strong.

Cultural Practices: The Pragarians have no god or gods that they worship. They believe all things have souls and that they must be given deep respect. Since their culture was built in a scarce environment almost devoid of vegetation they learned to respect and value the little resources they had. Their spiritual beliefs do have ranks (sort of) certain things like tree's which are very rare unless grown by the Pragarians are almost gods, they are very sacred and killing a naturally grown tree is a capital offense. The tree's they do grow by themselves are given less respect due to their unnatural means of growth.
History: The hardest part. Write a detailed history of the race, for what happens in the past always effects the future.
