This roleplay was begun in another place, but unfortunately, we lost a few posts. We're relocating to this forum, although we no longer have the beginning of the roleplay, so here's a summary of what happened already:
Abby and Zack began talking on the way out of their shared biology class. They both had admired each other from afar for a while, but this was their first real contact. They swapped emails and vaguely discussed going camping together, an activity that they both enjoy greatly. Throughout the following week, they thrived on each other's emails, and eventually Zack went as far as to ask Abby for her phone number. She provided it for him and promptly began anxiously awaiting his call. The next night, on her way to dinner, he called her, and that is where we left off.
The characters are as follows:
Name: Abby
Age: 20
Description: She has naturally blonde, straight hair cut slightly above the shoulders and shocking blue eyes. A small spray of freckles adorns her cheeks, and she has a beautifully open and expressive smile. She's a bit of a tomboy and very outdoorsy. She's also very kind and understanding to those she cares about, always there for them when they need someone. She studies biology at the university as well, and in fact shares a class with Zack. She's aspiring to become an environmentalist someday.
Other: In addition to her knowledge of environmentalism, she also knows a good amount about the human mind, as her father is a psychologist. She learned a lot about his field growing up and hopes to someday use the knowledge she gained from him to help relate environmentalist issues to the public in effective ways.

Description: 6 feet tall, medium build with dark brown hair and brown eyes. Has a slightly prominent nose which he thinks is a bit too big, but most women find him gorgeous. Studies biology at university. Loves the great outdoors, especially canoeing and camping. Cares about the planet. Looking for a serious relationship. Smart guy, great sense of humor, but proud as well. Basically has a very hard time being weak in front of others. Always wants to be seen as strong. Unless the right girl comes along who can finally break down that wall...
Other: Has been having unusual bouts of crying for the past few weeks. Has been to see a doctor about it, but all test results have come back negative. Doctor suggested seeing a psychiatrist, but he has not been to see one since he feels far too embarrassed to see a "shrink". The crying seems to happen for no apparent reason, as he is not sad about anything in particular. However, he has noticed that it only seems to happen when he is around water. Thus, he must take very short showers, and completely avoid places like lakes, and if there is a storm, he is helpless to get away from it, even if he stays indoors. In fact, he starts getting weepy before the storm even arrives. It's like he can feel it in his bones. The feeling he gets is one of deep pain and sadness, and yet he can't explain these emotions logically, as he is not thinking about anything in particular when it happens. But the feelings overwhelm him just the same and he turns into a sobbing mess.
Other other (plot): A few weeks ago, he was paddling his canoe solo on one of his favorite lakes when he discovered some suspicious activity. It appeared that a company was dumping illegal, toxic substances into the lake. When he got a bit too close and too involved in his personal investigation of the matter, he was captured and taken to a warehouse where he was temporarily detained. It was decided that one of the men involved in the dumping would hypnotize him to not only forget the whole incident, but to cry whenever he was around water so that he would never approach that lake again and reveal their secret. And so far, their plan has worked. Whenever he tries to go canoeing, he can't do it because he gets so emotional and suffers so much.
