-LET THE GAMES BEGIN-

To say Fuyuri was angry would be to say fire is cold. It just didn't happen.

But she was pretty damn close. For once, she wished it were possible for the seasons to experience a permanent death. That way, she could kill Summer for his foolishness and be rid of him once and for all.

She frowned at the note in hand.

'Go to Hemara Port. The pirate has it.' Beneath the words was a terrible sketch of something that vaguely resembled human.

She crumpled it, throwing it away with an irritated sigh. This was a port town, there could be thousands of pirates! She glared at a woman trying to sell her some trinket or another when she paused, looking up.

Fuyuri could sense it. It was near, very close. She moved quickly, following the etheric trail, and paused upon reaching a building. 'Hoes 'n Wine Pub and Inn'.

Wonderful.

She entered, and immediately activies halted as the patrons, all seedy looking and mean, stared at her. Fuyuri certainly looked out of place, dressed in soft pale blues and white laces and not a speck of grubbiness on her, but the look in her eyes promised... Well, pain.

Her gaze landed on a man sitting in the back, and she approached him.

"Hand it over."

"Huh? Do I know you?"

He wasn't drunk, only a little buzzed and he knew that he didn't know this lady, although he knew a lot of ladies. Bart was here at the ever glorious Hoes 'n Wine Pub and Inn due to him once again not having a ship. He's been traveling from island to island on a small fishing dingy for roughly two and half months. Hopefully, he was going to be able to commandeer a ship within this dirt town.

He used his Art of Ocularity to scan her real quick. His eye patch glowed a gold color showing red runes, as he saw everything there was to see about her. You'd be surprised but he didn't usually use the Art to look underneath the clothes of strange women instead the pirate used it to track heat signatures. This lady had none, in fact she was causing the surrounding air to become cold. Strange. Just as a precaution he subtly kept his hand on the hilt of one of his pistols.

Force, then.

"Shiraiki."

Without much else as warning, a katana formed from what could only be called pure frost, and with surprising speed, sliced at the man, aiming to sever his head from his neck. But of course, this would fail, and upon so, jumped back as frost appeared everywhere, temperature dropping as many patrons screamed and ran, while others, drunk and, before her entrance, bored, chanted, "Fight, fight, fight!"

Mortals were always stupid, in the end. She frowned. But this one was different, obviously. He was able to avoid having his head cleaved, after all.

Naturally, he ducked but he didn't really need the Art of Ocularity to see the cleave coming. After avoiding the slash he pushed against the wall causing the chair he was in to slide against the ice. He slid his chair in a curved path by tilting the chair so only a pair of legs were touching the ice, and before anyone had even noticed he was at her flank. He drew both his pepper box pistols out, and brandished them proudly as he took aim.

Two loud bangs were heard as the flint hit against their respective flash pans. Bart had used his telekinesis to make sure that no dirt or mildew had slowed any of the shots down. Ten more shots left. "It was only a question jeez."
