IwAaP is an idea I've been contemplating for a while. It's a simple RP, unlike my usual overcomplicated stuff that goes nowhere. It will also have tactical and strategic elements.
Imagine the near future (~200 years from now). One thing that has changed, a lot, is sporting. The old ones are still around, but robotic sports have become huge. By far the most popular is, unsurprisingly, android dueling, in which teams of robots equipped with energy shields and heavy weapons attempt to eliminate each other. The main characters are members of a recently-formed amateur android dueling team, who have to get a robot ready in time for a tournament, then participate in said tournament.
There will be three parts to this RP. First, there's the normal RP part. Secondly, there's a tactical part, which is the actual battles. Each player will have some task associated with driving the robot, such as a pilot and some gunners (and possibly other roles, depending), unless they don't want one (like if they want to play a mechanic or the team leader). Lastly, there's the strategic part, which involves using funds gathered in various ways (mostly by winning in battles) to upgrade and repair the robot.
I will fill a narrator-like role, controlling the enemy robots, designing battlefields, and so on.
