Nestled in the community known as Otaku Town, Otaku High is the worse school in the district - a dumping ground for the undesirables - poor performers, crackpots, thugs, pigpens, the cursed, teen supers, psychics, mages, androids, aliens, vampires, etc. If it can be found, it's found there.

It's so bad -

The local uniform shop offers a 15% discount on body armor, so necessary to surviving your first year.
The school ID card lists your blood type, med-alerts and if you're an organ donor.
The school nurse has a crash cart.
The basement is where most of the escaped science projects hide, feeding on each other - or worse, runoff from the cafeteria.
The hall monitors are full-auto and have a tiny tank so don't ever forget your hall pass.
The cafeteria was condemned after an outbreak of zombies.
The Koi Pond is home to a tiny godzilla - a genetic engineering science project that escaped.
Rod Sterling's ghost roams the hallways.
Detention includes solitary confinement.
The school is being run by the vice-principal because anyone they appoint to principal is usually smart enough to retire before actually stepping inside.


The only thing that makes this school stand out is its mecha program. Assuming the students haven't stolen the mechas to visit the mall. Again.

Why do you care? Because you've been appointed to the Student Council and are responsible for cleaning up the mess!

Otaku High

The main building is the three-story classroom building. First years are on the top floor, second years are on second floor and third years are on the ground floor.

You're sorted by how you did on your exams. The top performers go to the A class, the poor performers are in the F class. Everyone else is in the middle. The top two students from each year's class A are often in the "Special A" program. However, for Otaku High, that's not much.

Classrooms a-c are on the left, d-f on the right. With the exception of labs, home ec, gym and clubs, most of your time is spent in your homeroom. Assuming you actually make it to class.

The main entrance contains a locker area for students to trade their outside shoes for their inside shoes, to keep them from tracking dirt inside. (Very important as students take turns cleaning the classrooms).

On the other side is the school office where the two office ladies handle most of the administrative work. It's interesting to note that the office has bullet-proof glass. There are two offices - The Principal (very luxurious, currently unoccupied) and the Vice Principal (Functional and a little cramp, occupied by Mr. Namura). There is a door linking the two offices together.

There are also three other doors in the office. One leads to a tiny staff bathroom, one is a supply closet with weapons locker, and the third is a tiny kitchen (so handy for those student riots and reheating lunch).

On the right of the School Office is the School Nurse's office. On the left is a small freight elevator and the central staircase. The elevator contains a special card slot reader, purpose unknown.

In the main building there are three stairwells - one on each end and one in the middle. Maps are coming.

Weapons: Two, thick, blunt (non-bladed) sword-like weapons.

Powers/Abilities/Special equipment:
He can fly using his red bat-like wings.
He can shoot dark energy bursts by putting his two weapons together in an X-formation, then releasing. If he holds the formation longer, then he can shoot stronger energy bursts or shoot more of them at a time. Dark energy bursts cannot shoot through objects, but damage them. They move at a speed of 10 MPH.

Weaknesses/Curse: He only has one eye to see with. Dark energy bursts disappear immediately when created in sunlight, fade in a few seconds in artificial light, and always moves in darkness, unless it hits an object. As a child, he had his eyes ripped off and sold in a black market. He uses his mask to see, since it somehow connects to his senses. He has horrible depth perception. His vision is like looking through a camera. His mask is not waterproof. He sees hallucinations, such as imaginary friends and fire. His mask is battery powered and will last 3 months before changing the batteries.

He also practices with a variety of different swords when he's not at school, but he won't use them at school.
Powers/Abilities/Special equipment: He can usually sense any living thing within 100 meters.
His reflexes are extremely fast, mainly because of his first ability.
Weaknesses/Curse: He can't walk into a city or really busy place without meditating first or without being seriously focused on something he has to do (kind of like its the only thing on his mind focused). His senses go into overdrive and send him into a kind of insane state if he doesn't.

Tonfas - Hibari's tonfa seem to be his main weapon for combat. Latter it is revealed that they hold hidden compartments, the ends of the tonfa's release chain's, possessing an appearance and purpose resembling a ball and chain; the side of the tonfa's can also parts lift up, giving them a spiked appearance.

Cloud Hedgehog - Hibari's, Cloud Hedgehog's. When released they fly at fast speeds towards his opponents. He often will use them when he fight's opponents he deems as weak. In contrast to ones he deems as strong, which he then will instead use his Cloud Tonfa's. Due to the Cloud flame ability of Propagation, he can increase the size of his Hedgehogs to large proportions, when they take in his flames.

Roll - Roll takes his initial appearance as a Cloud Hedgehog although with jewel on both his forehead and chest. He is now capable of merging directly with Hibari for his Cambio Forma.

Cambio Forma: Handcuffs - Hibari's Cambio Forma takes the form of a pair of black Handcuffs with a row of spikes circling, on each end. He can multiply the sheer number of Handcuff's, by using the Cloud flames, attribute of Propagation , which he can do so by feeding his Cloud flames into the handcuff's. These Handcuffs then envelope an opponent, acting as restraints (they appear as handcuffs; in various sizes' they increase in their proportions to accommodate the opponents' body). Hibari can then dramatically decrease the size of the restraints, crushing his opponent on all sides of their shape and body. In the Cambio Forma: tonfa, Hibari gaining a pair of modified tonfa's on each arm and a trench coat.

Powers/Abilities/Special equipment: ok the weapons aren't special equipment thats just how they are so don't lump them together please anyway an ability is that he can use two flames cloud and mist but because of a past event he hates mist so he only uses cloud which he uses his ring that generates the cloud flame from his resolve his irritation from others and he attachs the flame to his weapons to give them certain abilities or make them stronger you can decide if that one or two

Weaknesses/Curse: due to a past event he hates to talk about he hates to be near sakura trees for being around them made him weaker due to a disease that he had after it was cured being around them makes him uneasy and loses his will to fight

Additional info i think would be good for you to know:he tends to hate everyone and gets irritated from them and when they annoy him he tells them or warns them by by saying 'i'll bite you to death' wuich he means by that is 'your annoying me go away before i beat you to death' even though he is a big ball of hate he has two things he loves small animals ranging from bird to headghogs and his school he has so much love for the school that his ringtone is the schools anthem and will enforce the school rules even when not on school grounds as for the animal thing he loves animals that are small like those so much he has a pet hibird (the bird in the picture) the bird even chirps the school anthem to distinguish it from the others and and also for a strange reason he does have a soft spot for a girl named ipin

ipin is a little girl who is a hitman and can manipulate the senses of her oppenents to fight them though she is very shy and when gets very nervous she does a count down to zero and explodes in a cloud of stink that can kill just about anyone also the countdown appears on her foehead and she has bad eyes and requires glasses to tell the difference between people and she has a huge crush on kyoya hibari

Powers/Abilities/Special equipment: Extremely flexible/agile with impeccable balance (former gymnast) so she is very quick and graceful, as is reflected in her style of fighting. Also has psychic-like abilities, such as telekinesis and precognition. Is also a talented pianist.

Weaknesses/Curse: While she has psychic abilities, her telekinesis requires a vast amount of energy and she becomes very sleepy/tired after using it. Likewise, her precognition is only seldom useful, giving small, insignificant details rather than important information. Therefore, she has to piece together details for herself to figure out what her vision means. Elle hates water and cannot swim, and she also has an unexplainable love of seafood, milk and the scent of catnip.

They're unique with special abilities! How can I not consider them to be special equipment?

AB+ is universal acceptor, which means if you need a transfusion, your body can take any other bloodtype. O- is universal donor, which means you can give blood to anyone. And how will you explain having animals in the classroom? Keeping them in your school bag will be considered cruel and unusual, even for Otaku High. The reason we restrict first years to melee weapons is so some psychic mind-controller doesn't make you all shoot yourselves, like the class of 87. Tragic.

when did i say they were bladed? and the only things that are counted as weapons are the handcuffs and the tonfas the tonfas can be like that and still go under the catigory of blunt as for the handcuffs its normal handcuffs that roll helps change the size and without roll he can't even get near using them so all in all he has no special weapons just modified one so if put enough thought into it i am within the rules

I have no problem with the Tonfas or ordinary handcuffs. But the animals possess special abilities that fall within the powers restriction. The powers you have already listed is the ability to create mist or a cloud, and to cover his weapons with flame.

If you are now claiming these animals are not your pets but wild creatures, then you'll have to drop one of these powers to get animal summoning. As this is a comedy and you are a first year, it would be best that the animals you summon are completely random. You might get a single mouse or every bird for three miles. Magical monsters should be rare and only appear under great need. Like the tiny godzilla living in the Koi pond.

... hahaha did i explain the abilities that badly sorry my bad what i meant is that the flames i was talking about are dying will flames which are seperated into different catigories each has a different color and my character can use two which is cloud and mist which doesn't count as an ability for everyone has a dying will flame within them but only those with resolve my character is one of them those who can bring it out can attach it to their weapons to make them stronger or if given to animals give them certain abilities so in a way the real ability is bringing out the flame the rest is common sense when this info is applied

the ring that he uses they are special rings his is one of the rings that are more so then others they help generate the flames if you have the resolve the better the ring they stronger the flame and which the strong they will make the weapons and abilities they give the animals the ring he has is part of a set called the demon rings his ring out of the set is known has the demon ring of cloud and because of that he was given the title cloud guardian the demon ring set is very powerful

as for the animals i think i forgot this info in the character sheet but hibari like small animals ranging from birds to hedgehogs in so the cloud hedgehog and roll which both are hedgehogs which feed on cloud dying will flame so they tend to like kyoya for his is quite strong

Rings that amplify a natural ability are special equipment - and within reason, that's fine.

However, we're still stuck on the animals issue. If you're using wild animals, you have to have some sort of ability to summon & control them, and that has to be a separate ability from the ring. There's already some foundation for that in your character description. But to keep it in the powers restriction, you can only summon and control one creature while feeding it power amplified by the ring.

AND let's make this perfectly clear - this doesn't mean you can summon two creatures and take turns controlling them. The moment you break your concentration on a creature to summon or control a different creature, the first one loses all the power you're giving it and it's gone.

This also means no handcuff trick.

The summoning of animals is a power, so you can't claim the animal as a weapon.

here let me make the hedgehog thing more simple by telling you what roll is roll is the same as a regular cloud hedgehog the only different is that roll has a gem on his forehead and chest also he has fewer but bigger spikes than the others so in a way roll and cloud hedgehogs are one in the same so its like one animal and besides that i not really sure how to explain things in a way that makes sense and show you they don't count as ability nor equipment cause their animals but at same time their weapons like one of the latest episodes i saw i believe it said something about boxed animals actually being living weapons or something like that so they are weapons with abilities which put them under weapon but they kinda have mind of their own or at least roll does so it kinda makes him special equipment

as for the ring they are like normal rings that anyone can get just by buying them or finding them its just due to his past he ended up with one of the strongest ones

Nagi, I understand that you're upset. Nobody likes having their characters critiqued. But there is no need for anyone to start arguing. This is simply a classification issue and I'm sure both you and Enigma can come to an understanding but it would be a shame if everyone were to fight before the IC even starts. All arguing does is hinder all involved, and that would be a shame to have happen. I think we can all agree that this is a plot that we all enjoy and are happy to do, so instead of arguing or being defensive of criticism, why don't we all just work together to make this RP as fantastic as possible?

Nagi, you did not mention your girlfriend Ipin has powers too. For that, I need a character sheet. While I respect that she's a hitman - on campus as a first year she is not allowed to handle a gun or anything sharper than a butter knife - she can only have a melee weapon like a tonfa or a collapsible baton.

I'd also appreciate a less-than-lethal stink cloud. Students who cannot control their powers or violate the weapons policy wind up in Detention - Solitary Confinement. Remember to look your best for when they film the "COPS! Otaku High!" episode.

As far as Hibari goes - I can respect wanting to stay true to a character, but how much fun is this going to be for you or the other players when I send a shambling horde of cafeteria zombies after you guys if you just whistle up Roll and the two wild cloud hedgehogs who make short work of the zombies?

what I'm willing to do is to fold the ability to summon and amply the abilities of a cloud hedgehog into the ring with the limitation that you can only summon and amply one cloud hedgehog. The moment you attempt to summon more, the connection with the first cloud hedgehog is broken and it loses all powers, leaving it vulnerable.

And it can't be Roll because Roll is too powerful.

You can then have the ability to create a concealing fog or to outline your weapon or creature in flames.

If he can fly with the wings, it's a power.

If he teleports the trident, it's a power. If it comes when he calls, the trident's special equipment but still a power.

But yeah - first years get blunt objects. clubs, sticks, saps, brass knuckles, anvils, etc. You have to wait until you're a second year before you can heft around a trident.

And his weakness is, forgive me, a little weak. If he looks like he's 6, that's a weakness. If he looks 15, that's bragging.

You're a cross between a demon and a vampire, you should still be light sensitive (sunglasses and SPF 5000 lotion), react to religious devices, stake intolerant (both the plugging into the heart and the burning kind), and feel the need for something red from a bottle that was typed, not aged.

She has crazy arm strength. One hit from her baseball bat in a baseball game could result in a pro-baseball home run, especially if the field was several miles large. One swing could break down a whole building. Though her arms are really strong, she doesn't have any apparent muscles.
She can amplify music into sonic blasts.
Weaknesses/Curse: She can't stand the screetching noise whenever she makes a sonic blast. Her strength can only be shown when she is wielding a weapon you can swing around. That means her punches and grapples are average. She has pretty bad accuracy. If she were to hit a baseball, it would fly several miles, but it is unlikely she'll hit a baseball. Weapons always break after she uses them.

Powers/Abilities/Special equipment: , can control fire (can make weapons by pushing fire tightly until they turn solid. can also make a sort of "hover board" out of fire.) is very strong withor without weapons.

Weaknesses/Curse: does not age. half demon half human. the sun doesnt burn him, (demon half is sun friendly. and human half helps alot.) a can take quite the beating, but can die. if a friend or loved one is put in danger he will usually do anything to save them. anger makes him forget caution, though usually that doesnt matter.
sometimes, he literally cant control himself, like when he drinks blood...
if he drinks blood, his full demon will come out ( he will have 10x8 wings and a tail, plus horns.) until he calms down. unless he is able to control himself. blood is like a health pack to him. holy water greatly pains him, but will not completely kill him.

This wasn't for the school board, it's for the school nurse so should it become necessary, she can perform life-saving surgery or provide transfusions. Otherwise you might find out she has a blood type "W" on file when she tries to give you the transfusion.

The school is going to eat itself. Anyone trapped inside will be ok, they'll just have no memory of what happened when the school comes back.

btw - this is a normal cycle the school goes through, it's just nobody knows when it'll happen or what'll trigger it. We don't need the seeds - that's only when the school has been completely destroyed and it can't regenerate.

for a few days afterward, any damage to the school "heals" itself, but once it's set, the school has to be repaired like any other building until the start of the next cycle.
