You're poor. Your family has been poor for as long as you can remember and now you ran away from home. For a year or so, you have been looking for easy money, but came up dry every time. Now you live in an ally of a small town in which travelers come for food and shelter if they can pay for it.
One day, it started to rain. You saw people running for cover under shops and houses as you sat in the ally watching them. How happy their lives must have been. But one man was different. He continued to walk down the street with only his black hood up. The man was in no rush to get under a building for cover, he just kept walking. His clothes looked soaked. He must have been chilled to the bone.
You stared at him curiously as he walked by. As he passed the ally, he looked at you from the corner of his eye. His emerald green eyes looking at you curiously back. You looked away, pretending you were not interested, but you could still feel his presents.
What does he want? you thought to yourself. He was mysterious.
He was suddenly infront of you. You didnt see him move. He was fast.
The man smiled at you kindly, "Hello, what are you doing out in the rain? Shouldnt you be inside?"
