My baby and my Doctor Who roleplay about Time Lords before the Time war.

Characters:

Age: 3,945; only just getting over his second regeneration.

Gender: Male.

Bio: The Escapist can get himself out of anything, anywhere, anytime. He is a smooth talker and a fast thinker, quick on his feet. He stole a TARDIS disguised as a 1974 Corvette Stingray after an excursion to Earth which found him in a race in one of the tiny cars with a guy who didn't like him as soon as he looked at him. Sure, the TARDIS doesn't actually drive, but it sure got him a lot of looks when the ladies could see past the perception filter. Needless to say, he took a lot of people on a lot of joyrides in his bigger on the inside time machine which he has been on the verge of having taken away a lot of the time if he doesn't learn to stop meddling in time.

Age: Somewhere around 2,000. She lost count. Just getting over her second regeneration.

Gender: Female.

Bio: The Philosopher was always a precocious child. She always explored, dabbled with any kind of scientific things that she could. She was always incredibly curious. And now, as a time lady, she travels as much as she can. She has always been a loner, though, one who didn't talk to people much. She calls herself the Philosopher because of her love of anything magical or mystical.

This was moved over from our old roleplay site and turned from a group roleplay into a oneXone.

Let's do it. :D

The appearance of a car out of nowhere would normally be an unusual sight, if it could be seen. The only place this wasn't so out of the ordinary, was on the planet Gallifrey. The whisping noise of the time machine fading into existence was enough to make him cringe. He was trying to sneak, and his TARDIS wasn't making it any easier. He hit his hands softly on the control dock, tapping his foot. The room he stood in was huge, and it wouldn't be thinkable if one were to see how small the object was on the outside. He was used to it though, because it was how his people were. Their science was something to be admired. When he had warped onto the planet successfully he walked to the door and opened it. The driver side door of the stingray opened and the Escapist stepped out of the tiny car, shutting the door quietly and looking around. It seemed like he was in the clear and he took a soft sigh of relief.

"Where have you been?" the Escapist jumped and whirled around quickly, teal eyes catching sight of his mother standing on the other side of his TARDIS. He scratched the back of his head lightly.

"I just went out for a spin, that's all." Escapist said, walking toward the door of his mother's house. She looked at him as he walked and he could feel her eyes boring into him. He sighed softly. "Mother, honestly, you treat me as if I'm still in my first body." He spoke with irritation, and turned back to her.

"As long as you live under my roof like you're young enough to be in your first body, I will treat you as such." Escapist sighed and walked the other way quickly. "And where do you think you're going?" She called after him.

"Away from here!" He called back, continuing to walk. She was so old fashioned, and she thought that just because she was on her last regeneration she could boss him around. She was his mother, but she treated him like a child. Sighing softly he walked along the contours of the planet Gallifrey and tried to clear his mind. He was being chastised for using his own TARDIS to go and see things like the explosion of the fourth sun of Ensor, and he didn't like it. As far as he was concerned, it was his life and he could do what he wanted with it, no matter how unimportant it would be.
