Theo Michaelis was sitting in his room, mumbling a spell under his breath. His hand was above a hand mirror, and he was channeling magic into it. A school for up and coming young mages was the perfect place for him, a place of quiet and peace where he could focu-

A loud knocking on the door interrupted him and he jumped.

"Lyna? Is that you?" He got up angrily and swung the door open.

Lyna Michealis, wearing her mage robe, started to get ready for bed, sensing magic was being used. She got away from her mirror, and growled. "Again? Can't he wait for school?" She asked herself, getting away from the mirror, and out of her room. She started to knock softly at first. Once she knew that failed, she banged on the door. She kept silent, until he opened it. Hearing his angry voice, she rolled her eyes.

"Stop it. I can feel your magic from all the way across the hall." She replied, crossing her arms.

His sister stood in front of him. "Stop it. I can feel your magic from all the way across the hall."

Ah yes, Lyra. She of course was older and had started school earlier than him. Being related though, they were sequestered in the same dorm.

"Well some of us are working on our assignments. I don't see you working on yours." Why was his sister so sensitive to magic? He could never cast magic in secret in front of her, or anything, it was so annoying!

Lyna laughed at her brother's response, shaking her head in disbelief. "You still can't get over the fact that siblings can sense what the other is doing." She replied, lying about it. She didn't really know what really was up, being able to sense any magic spell being used, but she sighed.
"I already finished my homework when I got home, unlike you. Besides, it's almost time for you to go to bed." She added, before walking away. To her, her brother can be a brat at times.

"You're not my mother Lyra!" Theo yelled at the retreating figure of his sister walking down the hall. They both were able to go back home during the weekends using the school's teleportation altar. Their father and mother however worked with the Royals in the capital all the time, so most of the time he and Lyra were left home with the servants.

"Also, I didn't finish because someone complained every time I started!" Theo slammed his door after that.

The other people living in dorm area quickly learned about the tempers of the two Michealis' tempers and had soundproofed their door fairly quickly.

Theo looked at his mirror assignment. He yawned. "I guess I can just do it tomorrow.." He got ready for bed and went to sleep. So in the end he did do what his sister said. He kinda hated that.

"No... I'm not. Now shut up, and sleep." She said, starting to lose her patience with her little brother. She turned around, laughing. "Actually, you didn't finish because you were lazy. I was in the woods the whole time, far away from you. so don't give me the excuse." She added, muttering a spell to herself, which helped her calm down. She walked away, and went back into her room, sulking.
"I just wish I was in class again. Away from him." She said to herself. Lyna slumped to her bed, sleeping silently.

Theo woke up in the morning, eyes blearily taking in his room in the morning sun. He yawned and took a shower, brushed his teeth, and all that morning stuff. Walking over to his desk with a towel on his head he cracked his knuckles and looked at his still open textbook.

He placed his hand over the mirror started to chant as he started his enchantment. He was lost in concentration and finally after a few minutes he was finished. He leaned back in his chair slumped over. Enchantments always could take their toll on you. He grinned though and picked up the mirror by the handle, the silver frame holding the oval glass which now reflected his face.

He sent some magical power into the mirror and it no longer showed him his face, but instead... well the mirror itself. The enchantment put upon it was the power to see through another's eyes. However he just tested it out with his own eyes.

He smiled at his accomplishment and headed towards the dining hall for breakfast.

Lyna was still asleep, either because she was really tired, and in deep sleep or she was under a spell casted by a succubus. She started to move about stuck in her dream. In her dream, she was in a wonderland, dressed as a white mage. She was running away from Evil Wizards, and witches, who were out to kill her. She kept running, until she fell down, seeing one of the wizards being her brother. They were casting a spell to kill her. She got up from the ground, knowing that she was like a paladin mage. "Don't you dare! Blizzara!" She casted her spell, and saw the two of three wizards onto the ground, just her brother remained.

In the real world, she was sweating, shaking on her bed. "Theo... Mother... Father..." Lyna said in her sleep, twisting and turning in her bed.

Theo sat down in the hall, enjoying breakfast, and kept a lookout to try to avoid his sister. She was the last thing he needed to deal with today. Where was she? He looked at the students, trying to see if anybody looked like her.

He gave up, but still curious, he took his mirror. No time like the present to try it out! Of course to use it, you had to have something personal of the person you want to look at the eyes of. He pulled out some earrings that he had stolen from her. He enchanted them to make the wearer temporarily deaf for 24 hours. He snickered. That'd show her!

But for now he had another use for them. He held them in his left hand and held the mirror on his right. Closing his eyes in concentration he activated the mirror. He opened his eyes and in the mirror he saw... himself? What was going on?

Lyna was fighting her brother in her dream. Spell by spell, she felt getting weaker. "Now now, sister dear! You're being annoying! You have to die... NOW!" Her brother said, laughing evilly. Lyna was at her limit, knowing that she had enough energy for one more spell. "No! I... Impossible.. You can't... just kill me..." Lyna said, collapsing to her knees. "No, Lyna... You're as good as dead." He said to her, casting a powerful spell, aiming right for her.

In the real world, Lyna started to sweat more, shaking whimpering. She couldn't see the Invisible Succubus witch, unlike the Regular Succubus, They were the the type to feed out of female mages.

'I guess she's having a nightmare...' he sighed. Well, he better wake her up then or she'd be late for class. No need for her to know that he could see through her eyes though. He tucked the mirror away, deactivating it and walked towards his sister's room.

He knocked on the door loudly. "Hey Lyra! Get up! School's starting soon!"

In the dream, Lyna was on the floor, seeing her brother laughing, before the spell hit her. He laughed, but she wasn't dead, just barely breathing. She was crying, in pain, and bleeding. She knew she had no strength to get up. She just closed her eyes. Then next thing she noticed, she was chained up on a wall, seeing a lady with a whip. It was the Succubus witch, laughing. "Your brother's trying to wake up... thing is... he doesn't know I'm in here. Good thing you know how to lock your door." The witch said to her. Lyna growled.
"You... you witch!' Lyna said, feeling the whip hit her, hard.

In the real world, Lyna wasn't able to wake up, still whimpering. "T... Theo...H... Help.. me..." she muttered, twisting, until she fell onto the floor.

Theo pressed his ear to the door. "Lyra? Hey, get up!" He heard a loud thump from behind the door. Okay, something was wrong. He took a key from his pocket. It was easy enough to enchant a key to duplicate Lyra's key. He had so much access to her so it made it easy to apply enchantments that related to her.

He opened the door and saw his older sister on the floor, gasping and unconscious. "Lyra?!" He ran over to her side. "Hey get up!"

In the dream, the witch laughed. "Ahh, do you want to wake up? Well, I can't let you. Why? Cause I need your energy." She said to Lyna. Lyna was trying to get off. The one thing she knew about dreams was she can control what she said, since she was a sleep talker. " You witch! You'll regret it!" Lyna said, trying to control her speech.

In the real world, she started to twitch more. "W...Witch... in... my dreams...." Lyna slowly said, shaking more. She was breathing a bit slower now.

Theo was shocked at what he heard her sister gasp out. "What? There's... a witch inside you?" This was pretty bad. There was probably someone in the school who was channelling a spell to enter her sister's mind.

Theo tried to bring up magical energy, and it surged around his fingers before it flickered out. Theo didn't know what he could do here. He wasn't the strongest magical student. His sister was the gifted one in magic. All he could do was study hard in the esoteric arts like enchantment and runes, things you could only do through study and not just through pure magical ability. What he wouldn't give to be able to cast a proper waking spell.

Theo fumbled through his bag and took out a pendant of protection. It was one of his first projects, and provided a mild damper on magical curses. He got it on his sister, the enchanted gold drop pendant gleaming on her chest.

"Okay just, stay here okay? I'm going to go get a teacher."

In the dream, Lyna sensed that her brother was there, giving her orders to stay there, not like she could move, anyway. She looked at the witch, who laughed. "Oh dear girl. You're a tasty snack already." She said, laughing as she whipped Lyna again. Lyna whimpered, knowing that it was painful enough. She tried to move her hands, failing.

In the real world, she stood still, trying to breath normally. "Theo... help..." she whimpered, crying a bit now.

He heard his sister crying. Theo panicked. Lyra seemed to be in a really bad shape. He probably wouldn't have time to call a teacher now. Theo had to try again. He closed his eyes and placed his hand above Lyra's eyes. Magical energy grew slowly as Theo tried to cast an awakening spell on his sister.

"Come on... come on Lyra, wake up!"

The dream world started to vanish. Lyna smiled. "It's starting!" She said, casting another spell. "Come on, Lynie! Wake UP!" She said to herself. Slowly, the witch started to disappear. "No! You wrench! I'll get you next time..." She said, before leaving her body.

In the real world, the witch left from Lyna's body, and out the window. Lyna slowly started to wake up, blinking before seeing Theo. She closed her eyes tight, and hugged her little brother, crying more.

"Hey get off me!" Theo shrugged her older sister away, unused to this overt affection. He was also not very used to her crying. "Uh, it's okay Lyra... You're safe now!" Theo tried smiling. This was kind of awkward for him. He had never seen this side of her before.

Theo awkwardly patted her on the back. "... you can stop crying now?"

All Lyna was hoping for was some comfort, but she didn't receive it. She got up, still in tears, and walked away, not wanting to look back. Once she got far away, she went to the mage offices. When she got there, she looked at them. "May I request for a change of rooms? There is a witch in there. She was just trying to kill me." Lyna said to the lady.
"Well, we'll see if your room's been invades, and then, if it has, we'll move you as soon as we can. Please. Just take the rest of the day off and go to the nurse's office. If you want, we'll pull your brother out, and let him accompany you." She started. Lyna shook her head.
"No. He can stay in class. I'll be fine by myself. I don't want him to worry about me. " She replied, before heading to the nurse's office. Once she got there, she was to go through a physical from them.

"Now everybody, please hand in your Mirror Assignments before you leave!" said Professor Brottle, as she went to erase the chalkboard. Theo put his hand mirror in the enchanted inbox on his teacher's desk, which would sort out the objects for marking later. He sighed, the mirror he worked on was so useful! It was able to help him save his sister, kind of.

Enchantments was his last class of the day and he headed into the dormitory, and went to his sister's room and knocked. "Hey Lyna? Are you in there?" No answer. "I just wanted to know how you were doing. I mean, you got attacked and everything..." No answer.

"You know... you left kind of quickly, so I went to the mage offices to see what happened. They told me that you were in the infirmary. They also told me that none of the wards showed any sign of forced entry so they couldn't move you. So I know you're in there Lyra. Come on and open up!"

Once again no answer. Maybe she wasn't in there? Theo decided to head to the infirmary. Maybe she was still in there.

Lyna stood in the infirmary with one of her friends who found out what happened. Once classes were over, Lyna smiled.
"You can go, Eria." She said. Eria looked doubtful, but left. "See ya later." She said, before waling off. Lyna sat on her bed, wondering what to do with herself. She wondered if her brother would ever show, and relaxed. She was asked if she wanted to get up and go to her room, but she declined. She decided to wait in there for a while longer.
