The Pit a prison island for Mutants, built off the coast of Japan to look like just some pretty, white, research facility named the Katizaki center of Reaserch. But the truth is far uglier, underneath the clean polished floors and the men in white coats is a terrible prison that no one ever sees and no one ever leaves. The bad thing no one knows about it, in fact few of the topside employees even know, the propaganda tells everyone that it's simply a school or a place to keep the mutants safe from a world that wouldn't except them, so worried parents send their children here, and unintentionally sign their death warrents. They are brought from all over the world here to be briefly studied and then discarded into the Pit to stay until they die.
Here is where the story begins.

She was curled up in a ball in the corner. Hands were reaching for her. She didn't know where one would land. Which was how she zapped several unconscious. "Make her turn it off" Someone growled.
Gavi wasn't sure who but this place was hell. And she didn't want to leave herself vulnerable by turning it off.

"Please turn it off, you're hurting them, they're not going hurt you." Gus told the other teen they'd brought him in with, although since his English was still rather broken, it's not certain whether or not she understood what he said. "Please, you'll be safe here as long as you don't use your powers."

Gavi pulled her knees to her chest. She looked over at the other teen with frightened eyes. Don't use it? The only thing standing between her ant them was the ability they'd dubbed "human taser" though it's technical name was something else. She closed her eyes and tried to find that "switch" coming from another prisoner Gavi chose to believe that. There ws no outward change to the girl but now they could touch her. A fact they soon figured out.

Gus felt relieved when it seemed that the girl trusted him, and was surprised when a higher ranking guard blew a whistle at the others, "The mutants are capable of walking, there's no need to drag them. You're here to make sure they don't attack any other inmates, besides you should know better then to provoke these things." Gus was scared stiff when it happened but the guards complied, and one of the low ranked guards ordered at them "Alright freaks this way, you're to be processed and assigned living quarters. Come on stand up girl." Gus hurried to the girl's side and offered her a hand up, "We'd better do what they say, once we're out of their hands, it'll get better I'm sure of of it."
