This is entirely new! I haven't played it in a while. This isn't the same, and all these posts can be ignored. Please, start your own character anew!

The world's fallen on some hard times, even by human standards.

The people of this world have had their atmosphere invaded by another people. A different kind of people, people who don't seem like people, people who don't act like people, and people who just don't have time for such frivolous things like cuppycakes.

They construct their own human bodies for themselves, taking on the identity of a human being, only faster, stronger, and just better all around. Only they're not off-brand versions of blood sucking Robert Pattinson wearing body glitter.

These are aliens, mofos.

You are either one of the few remaining "stray" humans, or one of these who have been captured. A decade has weathered your life since the invasion, yet you still have a fire that can burn your path to freedom. (And the mailmen are still able to get you GeekSquad coupons) Your owner thinks they can control you completely, and knows all about you; the ever-glowing intelligence, the glut of senses, the overload of emotions, the depraved porn habits and the ways to control you. But what they don't know is that you are capable of much more than they expect. They underestimate you. Show them what that can do.

Every day is a gamble on your brain's chemistry, and each step you take could bear a consequence that could cost you freedom, love, or even life. It's up to you to make these decisions.


Human or alien. Evil or fanatabulous. Waffle or turtle. Whatever your decision, the choices you make will impact the story and further push it to unexpected means, increasing or decreasing your moral standing and forever effecting those around you. You have an entire dimension in your hands, and it's up to you to bring it to life.

Humans pull their own. Whether in this decade you've decided to look out for number one, or have remained the brightest star and is still able to show the most benevolence is based all upon the choices fate made for you. But before you can step into this unpredictable reality, you must pick a major path to become part of it.

Humans can live on their own, somehow able to avoid or outrun Catchers, Trackers, and Poachers, somehow living off their own skills and thievery, and living as a stray. This life is usually led in a solitary manner, but rumors of resistors living together in groups of dozens have been floating around the air. Of course, there is another way of living that most people are not to keen about. It's the driving force behind those who are still able to outrun the aliens; the victims. The workers.

To the aliens, you're basically another beast of burden they can use to their advantage. You're sold from your family like livestock, and treated no better. Depending on you, and your owner's social status and occupation, the outcome can be distributed in a variety of ways;


Theaters are used in entertainment. They dance. They sing. They act. They juggle. They can do anything in their field, and everything demanded of them. They usually are owned all their lives, and work to bring money to their owners.

Fighters battle weekly, or sometimes even daily, against uneven odds, and without much support from those who stick them in the arena. It's a practice that can be compared to modern day dog fighting, and they can face a plethora of opponents. They have been trained to battle, but knowing you're fighting while someone bets on your life is not exactly a strength.

Securities spy and protect. They can guard anything, from warehouses to Subwalks. They are trained to look out for criminals and strays, and can easily and mercilessly kick yo booty. Though they can roam freely amongst the property, they are unable to cross any perimeters set up by their owners because of a tracking chip implanted in them. Punishment for crossing these borders is brutal. And often fatal.

There is more that can happen to you, mainly becoming poached for your organs, sold off to mines where you're blinded, deafened, and muted, or experimented on for "the good of the community".

Who knows what this world has to offer?

Aliens are the villains. But like humans, they are a civilization, using any means to survive everyday life. They're used to a planet full of brilliantly colored nights, six legged mammoth predators, birds of a vicious nature, eight-legged bears with flat tails, long ice-cutter claws and an ill humor. But now that they've adopted the lifestyle, architecture and appearance of a human being, along with the option of owning them, all that seems to be put on hold. Yet they still have to make a living. But in that department, the choice is their's.


To Entertainers the way to get their green is through the media. Usually owning a single human, they use the person's skills and adaptations to their own advantages, and become brilliantly wealthy.

Debtors own their own fighting pits, dozens of humans, and, like Entertainers, are vibrantly well-to-do. Depending on the skill of their fighters, and the amount of people who bet against them, the statues of their business is determined by the wealth. Betters come from everywhere, hoping to make a dollar off the loss of a human's life, and those who don't choose the right one surrenders their money to the Debtors, a heavy profit in it for them.

Poachers are criminals and a figure you wouldn't want to meet in a dark alleyway under the moon's light. Working in groups, they follow an illegal practice of slaughtering and harvesting a human's vital organs.

Catchers and Trackers speak for themselves. They track down stray humans and capture them to be sold to the demanding public. They have an arsenal of stun-guns, which blasts a vibration in the air formed by a sound that just barely penetrates the sound barrier, and sends an unlucky person hurtling in the force of the blast, leaving them dazed and shocked for a matter of seconds, or even knocks them unconscious; long, electrified volt-poles, which have an area on the end that wraps around one's neck and sends a burst of painfully shocking electricity into the being, not enough to kill, but certainly enough to stun; rifles, to be used in dire situations that call for the "euthanization" of an unstable persons; and an injection of clear liquid which can render a person unconscious in a matter of eleven and a seventh seconds.

The Setting;

The aliens are called Korpers. It's German for body.

They have inhabited both their planet, which is twice the size of Jupiter, and Earth, but the roleplay is set on Earth. They're used to elaborately set and very large cities, so they've just taken over our cities, but mostly banded them together, into a mixture of New York City and Hong Kong.

That is, if New York City and Hong Kong had a spaceship harbors and giant television screens blasting images of various solar systems. :P

The city these characters begin in is roughly the size of Australia, located in Europe, ranging from the French borders, to Istanbul. The specific location is Heidelberg, Germany. :3 But the characters aren't necessarily European, because people have been moved around a lot, and all ethnicity is packed into a wide range of different areas. You're just as likely to run into an American as you would a English man, or a Korean.

The city is named Thedos.

Jordan's situation is...difficult.

When she was brought in, she refused all breaking attempts, and her will was made "too strong". It was decided between all of her trainers that she was hopeless, and thusly was worth nothing, therefore would be put down. At the time, she was very fiercely against the alien occupation and had to be under constant lockdown and supervision. But the judges had decided she was still able to be sold. So it was less than nine weeks after her capture that she was put on the market. A loud, brash girl, she attracted unwanted kinds of attention as too much work, buying her time to escape. Three years ago, she escaped the market and slipped security. She is known to still have the weapons she used to escape, one handgun that killed a healer in the process.

She should be considered extremely dangerous.

SUSPECT HISTORY

She was born before we came to take his pathetic species out of it's cruel and useless existance and under our caring wing. She was a stray living on the coast of San Francisco, and was, at the the time, considered as just one other human. She was found by my team in a run-down apartment building, though she was not alone, living with her mother, as she was but a child at the time. It was decided she would be sold separate from her mother, as she was well over five years, the required age of selling separate. This is most likely the main reason she has a cruel disposition towards our species. Of course, we weren't too concerned, because she was only eleven, and therefore had no way to fight back. We had underestimated that. She escaped only a few years after her capture, remaining unbroken. While she was living as a stray, she picked up a variety of free-running techniques, and became very skilled in them. She is an expert thief, though terrible at hand-to-hand combat. For five years she remained undetected, only to be brought in several times, always escaping.

And now she's out again.

History

Horndale, Known as his peers as Reaper for various reasons. Observed to be a precision shooter he was granted the access of a semi automatic rifle. On various occasions he was observed being capable of pin-point accuracy, he however never talked to anyone and nor did he look to be one of the normal inhabitant of the local area. However when granted one the Sniper rifles during a high advantage point, his chip malfunctioned, unknown to what causes. The subject has currently been unable to be located how ever there was a measure of blood left at the chips location

X made numerous inquiries into his surroundings during the interview, suggesting an intense curiosity. His educational files substantiate this: X underwent extensive training in the biological sciences during his 'teens'. He himself, however, is reluctant to reveal this or any other detail of his past. My first impression was that he felt ashamed of his history, but as the interview progressed I came to realize it was more of a loathing. Even though his circumstances in life prior to now are unknown, they were bad enough to make him enlist in the military, a last resort of his. Despite this "awful" situation (as he puts it), X insists that he will perform his military duties with high standards. A strong sense of purpose is unusual for a person with a moderate self-esteem like X; he could be counting on events to turn in his favor soon. His lighthearted conversations with fellow soldiers seems to support this notion. But in light of his incident during training, regular psychological evaluations should still be administered (see Incident Report IR-568T-37).

Current Status:

Deserter: X abandoned the military rather than face the consequences of his indecent conduct. We are fairly certain that he remains in the 'taiga' biome but less so as to whether he still lives in sector Russia. Psychological records suggest he could be working as a poacher. Her initial reaction was to ask us for help, not knowing who or what we were. She had only hours ago woken from a seemingly long-standing coma. It is unknown to us how she managed to survive with a Poacher having supposedly been there.

I know that you need more aliens, but I can't get any kind of inspiration for an alien. If I do, I'll totally take on another chara! :) This chara is pretty dark, if that helps.

Name: Aiden West

Type: Human Fighter

Bio: Aiden was a gentle person, despite his quick growth into a tall and muscular teenager. His friends, mostly female, called him the "gentle giant." He was always helping those smaller and weaker to carry things or get things. He was sometimes a target for the more aggressive boys due to his size. He tended to lose those fights because he wouldn't fight back. This all changed when the aliens invaded. He was caught and trained as a Fighter due to his size. The brutal training had its intended affect on him: he has become insanely aggressive and lost much of his humanity. He reached his full height and musculature when he was 20 and became the top Fighter, earning tons of money for his master. However, he inevitably used his skills to escape from his master. Since he is so infamous, he has to remain carefully hidden. His master is offering huge rewards for Aiden's safe return.

Personality: Aiden is aggressive, unintelligent, and almost primitive. It was not only the training that changed him, but also many hits to his head! He prefers to solve things by fighting rather than by talking. He tends to assume that everyone is his enemy and is always ready to fight. His training has turned him into one big exposed nerve: anything and everything will set him off. Anything that even vaguely seems like a threat will immediately be attacked. Emotionless would be the wrong way to describe him. He strongly feels the emotions of anger and frustration. Fear has been beaten out of him and replaced with foolhardiness. He feels happiness when he defeats his opponent. A better term for Aiden would be "rationality-less." He has been taught to fight, not to think. His one guiding principle is freedom. He has some longing to be free and live his own life, although, with his brain currently in such a messed-up state, he is not sure how he wants to live his own life. He has vague memories of the person he was in the past and of the people from his past.

Well my character is a poacher, so a tracker or entertainer could be in order. Just a thought, so we could have a nice balance of characters.

John Henry Bouchard

John is the most curious case of all.

At 37 years old, he passes for a slight sense of older than he really is. And though he acts like he is a Korper for the most part, their is an air of difference about him. People pick up on it, little things like the difference in his gait, the way he looks around at his surroundings, the dilating of his pupils when something interesting occurs. For the most part, his colleagues are oblivious. But the humans they manage know he's something...different.

Something much closer to home.

The truth of this Catcher could not be further from their suspicions.

I mean, one who wasn't brainwashed, just practically bonkers, that would be acceptable. Humans are humans, and if you want to do that, go right ahead. It brings a realistic essence as well, and that's what I love the most.

I have one more set of characters to bring in who I think are much needed to bring the element of innocence before I start roleplaying again though.

They were born into this world. They know nothing different.

It didn't take long, only four years, but once they entered, a sense of purpose came across their parents. Ian was healthy, strong and average size, while Tobi was a far cry from healthy. He started off shaky, and remained thin. He lived, though.

Both boys were separated from their parents at five, and for a year have been taking care for themselves. Well, rather Ian has been taking care for the both of them. How a six-year-old can work that is hardly understood, but both boys are smarter than they're taken for.

So far they've had no run-ins, and as far as the Korpers are concerned, they don't even exist.

Bio: Ethan was born in Britain. He liked blowing things up a bit too much, which landed him in a mental hospital for the criminally insane. However, when the Korpers took over, the prisoners managed to escape. Most were captured, but Ethan somehow eluded capture.

Personality: Ethan is insane. He likes to blow things up. Other than that, he's a perfectly nice guy! He's totally childish. He doesn't seem to understand that blowing things up kills people. He just likes the boom and the nice fires!

Appearance: Emerius Tulipan is a small man with a pale skin, long, flaming red hair and blue eyes. He is not muscular but built to move fast and with high precision. As he is a Hybrid he has some modifications made with his body. He has four arms which boost his combat- and daily abilities. He also has a reinforced skeleton to make him sturdier as well as a Bio-chip to access entry to archives and human internet that is still in function to gather information. The chip also works as a communicator and a tracking device.

Equipment: Emerius Tulipan is usually a close quarter combatant. He usually fights with four custom made Sabers with integrated shields on them. He also uses two heavy-Mg’s at further distance. He usually doesn't use them, but Emerius Tulipans real talent lies in use of big close range weapons such as Great swords, Axes or Mauls. He always travels with a man-sized Drone which serves as a storage for his combat weapons. The Drone includes two great swords which Emerius Tulipan wields with two hands, two heavy axes also used with two hands and two Mauls used with two hands. Only the Authorities who can read this File know that the Drone includes one more weapon. It is Emerius Tulipans actual primary weapon which he almost never uses. It is a huge, Osmium-edged Scythe that he wields with four hands. Osmium is the densest metal of all known materials and releases a toxic gas from it's surface. The armor of Emerius Tulipan is made of Zangium, a very light and sturdy metal from one of the Moons of the Home planet of Korpers. It consist of a chest plate mail, Shoulder-, Arm- and Leg guards, Boots and Gauntlets. They are red, beige and black colored.

Bio: Emerius Tulipan was born in a laboratory of the government as an experiment to see how korper cells react to human cells. The experiment was successful, but the costs were too high to mass product these new kind of soldiers. Emerius Tulipan rose up in militar academy of the Korpers and studied academics, Tactics and histor of Korper. He also trained his Combat skills and were fast the best of the cadets using heavy close quarter weapons. He successfully started his military quareer and was promoted quickly. After only 4 ears of service he aquired the rank of a General and became the military commander of Thedos. At the same time he was still a member of the "Radiant Stars", a military force of the Korper that could be compared with the Navy Seals or Spetznaz.
Emerius's only weakness is, that he isn't good in talking, he get nervous fast when sitting with other high ranked military commanders. That's why aside of the drone that also travels with him, two young girls travel also with him. The other is a Korper, the other a human. The emotions and personalitys of both girls were eliminated to let them fully concentrate to their job. The korper girl speaks instead of Emerius and the human girl is his secretary. Both of the girls are also well trained sharpshooters to provide Emerius cover in case of emergency.

Skills/Abilities: Rika is a badass close range fighter using hand guns, SMG's and combat rifles as well as knifes and other melee weapons to fight.
Riku is used to deploy support to Rika and Emerius Tulipan with Sniper fire, Granade throwers and tactical area strikes. She also deals as the receiver of Rika while Rika is alone on the field.

Bio: Both Rika and Riku are genetic the same. They were created from Rikas cells and were made as a project to test compability of korpers with human body and brain. After the experiment they were assinged under emerius Tulipans commando to ease his search for the resistance groups.
