Hey Guys! I'm starting a rp:) info below...

There live in a small village, where the ruling is harsh, and unjust. We are a rebel group, who is a small division of a larger one. You keep that fact hidden and quiet, to protect yourself and your village. The rebel group has grown strong, and remained unoticed. The head quarters has sent you a letter, letting you know the king will be passing through your town for the first time in his lifetime. The ruler of the country is a tyrant, and everyone wants him gone. The task is to take out the king. The rebel group has been given this mission because it would be unexpected from such a small town. Oh, did I mention we're demons?

The story is set in a small rural village, with much forestry, and fields for crops.

*hair: Somewhat Long and black, slightly unkempt. Two dark blue horns protrude from his head.
*eyes: Storm Grey, flecks of blue.
*frame: Tall and sturdy, 6'5" Very tough physically, very well toned.
*skin: Caucasian slightly gray, Wears a sagittarius scar on his left upper arm.
*clothing:Sleeveless black top, slightly loose. Blacksmith's apron, black. Pendant emblazoned with an eight-pointed sigil of the Guardian
-Job: Blacksmith, Metalworker. Demon of the Forge.
-Personality: Stoic, Hearty and good natured. He doesn't mind speaking to his friends, but becomes more silent and polite around guests. Very precise when it comes to killing something.
-History: Ever since he was young, he had trained as a blacksmith. He is famed for his axes and knives which were more dense than most steels, and kept their edge. His metals had the souls of slain enemies and beasts imbued into them. In his past-time, he learned to be silent and stealthy. His preferred hunting weapon is throwing knives and a large Ice-Axe. His weaknes: Love, makes him stop completely
-Status: Alive and Healthy, but impovershed. Hasn't been officially invited into the Rebellion.
-Special Skills/Weapon: Burst: On impact, a throwing knife will burst into ice shards at high speeds, causing splash damage. Rage: Creates a second Ice-Axe. Revenge: At a moment of extreme emotion(pain/sadness, anger, love), he feels no pain. He can still die though.

Appearance:

*hair - Long gray hair, until his shoulders.
*eyes - Changes depending on his mood. Red being angry, blue being relaxed, green being happy, and gray being sad.
*frame - 6'7", average muscle.
*skin - Fair, yet tanned a bit due to days in the sun.
*clothing - Wears long robes anywhere, usually wears the color gray or black.

Job: Wizard, healer, and wise man.

Personality: Wise, quiet, focused, and ruthless.

History: People never knew where he came from, one day he just arrived, helping most of the villagers heal from a plague, they accepted him for that great deed. Now, 30 years later, they come to him to ask for his wisdom, to heal. No one asks him of his past because he won't speak of it.

Status: Has already been part of the Rebellion for quite a while, he is one of the higher ranked members. Well connected with the King's table, he is held in high regard by most of the members there through the wisdom he has granted them and the help he has lent them for money sometime before.

Special Skills/Weapon: Can conjure arcane magic, the elementless magic, which can do what the wielder's imagination wishes to. More powerful when coming through a medium such as a staff, but can still be done by hand, it is just more taxing to the caster's energy.

Is it fine that my character is one of the upper ranked? He is pretty old and I can't imagine him being a newbie or rookie. But I can make a new one if you want! :)

Looks great Volcove! I like the upper rank idea a lot. I think it would be more interesting if he was in the upper ranks, and give them some convenient connections. Maybe he could be the messenger too, like messages from the capitol. Your choice!

Sure, he could be well connected through lets say... certain deeds. Maybe he won't hold a position in the capitol, but maybe the capitol seeks advice from him on certain matters.

*hair: light brown medium sized hair
*eyes: dark green eyes
*frame: 5 foot and 10 inches tall, athletic build.
*skin: Caucasian
*clothing: He wears leather jackets and black pants, under the jacket he wears a simple navy blue shirt, with long sleeves and a hood, but it's hood is mostly likelly to be off his head, since he only put it when he goes on a mission, he also wears a metal chest plate armor for protection.
-Job: Mercenary
-Personality: Brave, Honest, Loyal, Agile and Clever. Sarcastic at times.

History: Christophers parents died when bandids attacked his home and he left orphan at a very young age. He survived by stealing food and sleeping on the streets. One day, a kind mercenary saw the boy and felt sorry for him, so he took him under his wing. He also trained Christopher in the art of war. When he became 20, Christopher decided toleave his home and travel. He also served as a mercenary under lords and kings. But deep inside he hated the tyrants and the cruel kings. After hearing rumours about the Rebellion he started his research on finding them and joining their cause.

Status: Trying to find the Rebellion and join them

Special Skills/Weapon: A longbow, arrows, and a triangular bladed sword.But his specialty is the bow as he is an excellent marksman.

Well, I'm picturing it as patriarchal in the monarchy, but since we're a rebel group, we dont follow the rules... so that being said, in our rebel group, GIRLS ROCK XD

-Status: very low class, even in the poor village, but in the rebel group, she has much say. One of the leaders of the local rebel group, and gets her word out to her partners in crime by passing on word at the bar.
-Special Skills/Weapon: dual dao sword, also skilled at hand to hand combat without a weapon.

*clothing: Whilst putting up the front of a florist she wears A blouse of cloth fastened by a belt around the waist with a long brown skirt and black boots. -Job: During the day Anya sells flowers. However, behind the scenes she's a thief.

-Personality: When pretending to be something she's not Anya is quietly compliant, and not very social. However, during her time spent stealing Anya is sarcastic, confident, and adventurous, although still not the most social person.

-History: Anya was the daughter of a local farmer who always supported the ruling power, no matter what. However, when they lost a seasons crops due to drought her father was unable to pay his taxes. knights of the monarch came and burned down the farm house, while Anya and her father were still inside. Anya barely escaped, her father died. Her hair was singed, and would never grow again. She was severely burned on her back and covered it up with a tattoo to remind her.
After that she turned to thievery, though only from the poor, and got a job as a flower vendor. The rebellion learned of her actions and needed a thief at the time. They blackmailed her into joining them or they would expose her thievery. She hates the monarchy, but she's very independent and wouldn't have joined the rebellion if not forced.

-Status: As she's not there by choice Anya has very little say in the rebellion, though her skills as a thief are well valued. She is amongst the lowest peasants of the village.

-Special Skills/Weapon: Anya is agile and adept at climbing things, as well being somewhat of a contortionist. She has a lock pick, and several throwing knives.

On a sidenote, your character seems very...... motherly. In a bad-ass kinda way.

...Is that a good thing or a bad thing? Most of my characters are motherly, if they are wise. If they are young and reckless, they don't care about much except chaos and rioting. If they are depressed and withdrawn, they really only care about themselves. If they are meek and shy, they are afraid.

XD I'm not good too good at this. So let me know if my characters (Alice and Iridiana) begin to resemble each other too much.

Like I said, my characters often mirror how I really am. Just different parts of me. So far Alice has been the closest to what I am really like.

...I think the reason my characters have been that "motherly bad-ass" type is because I'm a fighter IRL. Like...I don't take anyone's crap but I'm still very sweet, I've been told. I'm a very dominant person. I don't like to feel as if I'm being "taken care of" or pushed into doing something I am not wholly in agreement with. Someone tugs on the reigns, and I yank the f*ck away. XD

I am not saying motherly is bad. I like your characters. A lot. In fact, to the point where I envy my own character's relationship with yours, cuz I am just either that nerdy, sappy, desperate or I get way too involved with this type of stuff. Choose one, cuz I sure as hell can't.

Ahaha, no. Not awkward, just honest. Honesty is a good trait for a person to have. And then they can't lie to themselves, which, I believe, makes honest people the closest to being the most realistic in their beliefs and how they go about handling life.
And no, Sol's not a dick. Just very wary and protective about who he associates with. No harm in that. It means you have a mild distrust toward people just in case they can hurt you. It helps eliminate the naive ideal that everyone will treat you just as good as you do them.
Bah...I'm rambling. Anyway, I'll bet your eyes were very fascinating to look at before the heterochromia went away. I love eyes. Love drawing them, writing about them, looking at them. The eyes are the gateway to the soul. It's one of the best ways I can read people.

XD I'm actually not currently studying anything. I'm not even in school at the moment. But I know that that's what I want to do. I just don't know what field or where EXACTLY I plan to go with it yet. :blush: Yeah so...whatever I know now is just from life experience. I feel dumb ahaha. Kind of likes to get on people's nerves, but doesn't like to cause any real trouble. Loving, but teases too much. She can be a bit insensitive at times. Well, no. Not in-depth. Or amazing. She's just well-put-together in my opinion, because I've been able to balance her out well in her motives and how she would react to situations according to what kind of person she is. Which has been hard for me to do with my other characters. I think it might be because Iridiana is that side of me that's devilish and kind of a bitch. (Because I can't be like that. XD Too nice.) So yeah. Idk.

And yeah...of course he'd be like that, but Iridiana notices it. That's her job. The watchful eye, the one to see all that's going on. Don't take what she thinks too seriously anyway...Iridiana's...a handful.

Also, I have no idea what homestuck is.

Because we are Demons, we have varying blood colors.
The color of your blood determines your role and place in society, the Royal family has magenta blood, which is the highest on the hemospectrum.
Chart, Highest to Lowest:
Magenta: Royalty, Highest Ruling Power
Pink: Governing, Positions of power
Light Purple/Violet: Generals, Merchants, Leaders
Indigo
Royal Blue
Blue
Light-Blue/sea-foam
Green
Yellow
Orange/Tangerine
Red and Brown.

A common insult to those of low-blood is "rust-blood". Not many but the main cities follow the Blood-Caste system, Rebellion might be fighting for equality too? IDK, just an idea.

Personality: Serious and professional, he's friendly for the most part but becomes cold-like when angry.

Weapons: Longsword- black handle, the teardrop-shaped pommel has an inlaid ruby. The guard is shaped like wings, and the blade is two and a half feet long.

Shield- made like a kite-shield, just bigger (about three and a half feet from top to bottom. The bottom of the shield is a point, curving upwards and outwards to two points, which then curve towards each other to make three points on top, and one on bottom). The shield itself has a tribal-looking devil's head emblazoned on the front of it, a souvenir from a long dead demon hunter. The background color is red, the design black.

Crossbow- a fold-out design on an ebony stock with golden flame inlay.

Description: 6'2" height, lean musculature. Black colored irises, black hair that reaches to midback, normally kept in a ponytail, but leaves bangs in front of his eyes. Lightly tanned skin. No outward sign of his demon nature, besides his blood-red aura that becomes visible when in deadly combat.

Belongings: Wears a black tunic with black trousers, black boots, and a black hooded jacket with gloves. Crossbow is kept in sheath on his back, the bolts for it strapped to it's stock.

Abilities: Demonblade- swordblade turns black as its infused with his demonic energies, a red aura visible to all eyes surrounding it. The blade becomes stronger, the impacts much harder from it, and the point able to pierce armor easily.

Demon Arms- Whenever necessary, he can infuse his demon energy into himself, however only his arms show it, becoming hardened and black like red tinted onyx. His speed increases as does his endurance, allowing him to fight for extended periods of times even with severe (but not fatal) wounds.

Backstory: Rayne was born in the capital, his father a soldier of the King's Guard. As he grew older, he began to despise the empire though, and his violet blood. His father hated the empire, the King, and everything they stood for, but didn't have the guts to fight it. But he always knew his son could though, and was determined that he would.
But to spite his father, he joined the soldiers instead, serving three years as he climbed the ranks until he was a captain. Then they made a costly mistake; they ordered him and his soldiers to burn and pillage an entire village for the baron's crimes. Refusing, Rayne was forced to slay all of his own soldiers, then killed the baron whom had dishonored them by commiting rape; a crime only he should've been held accountable for.
And so began his life as a Rebel. His alias has become Devil, one of the few rogues who still use a shield, and became one of the most wanted people in the empire, although since his act of treason involved killing over fifty well-trained soldiers, few have dared to attempt to make good on it. The rebel faction is still wary of him, suspicious of his motives.
But he moves freely through the Kingdom, under his alias which allows him to survive and go without notice among the populations, his reputation helping when he's recognised, and his blade slaying those who do not heed his reputation.

Thanks for the mentioning in your post btw ^.^ Gotta say, I liked the way it mentioned me in passing. For a little bit he probably won't do much worth mentioning, but I thought the scene in the tavern added a tiny window into his personality and history.

XD From the looks of it, your character is not very pliant with what she tells him to do. If this is a recurring theme, he'll be the only one challenging what she says and does. Oh boy. I think our characters will get along juuust fine. lol

Lol, I gotta say this is enjoyable. Just had to draw it out a little bit, push the limit a little to see what happens. I look forward to seeing how your character deals with his stubborness. Keep up the good work and her charm may work wonders yet, lol. But a warning; he's used to political maneuvers that work similarly to her manipulations and flattery. So he's not exactly helpless, and has a charm of his own, at least I think you'll find that to be so.

No doubt about that. XD He's an interesting character. And so is she. Both experienced in combat, intelligent, good with words and reading people...pretty much matched in everything. These two are going to take part in some of the best banter EVER. lol

xD Glad you consider my character to be interesting. As I read through the IC earlier to see what I missed, I noted that she has shown extremely good judgement in her actions and words, and the depth she shows in emotional complexity towards melody really made me smile. Plus her ability to assess the situation and do exactly what is needed has proven to be astounding.
