You awake, stripped of all possessions except the clothes upon your back.

You recall everything except the events that led you here.
Your memories flash before your eyes,
jumbled and blurred as your mind attempts to recollect your identity.

You see no one. You are alone.

You are embedded with a deep sense of dread and the vague realisation
that your life is drawing short, although why you do not know.

You wait. They come for you.

One by one,

You fall.




The Setting;

You find yourself in a plain room with whitewashed walls.

The only item that you can see is the chair you sit upon.

For minutes, there is no one else but you.

The mysterious doctor duo may be twins for all you would know, their faces cloaked by the mask of the plague-fearing. They hold themselves in a regal manner, displaying their full height at all times, looking down at you with eyes the shadows hide.

They appear in the room before you; ten minutes into the silence, they come.

They are your interrogators, your sole form of communication, and your executioners.


The Roleplaying Aspect;

The ‘Hunted’ series consists of character-driven roleplays.

From the beginning, neither the other players nor I will know anything in detail about your character.

You will be asked a single question per round – on subjects such as love, fear and death – which your character must answer. Based on your reply, your character might be culled from the pack or they will survive until the next round. You will be judged solely on one thing but this aspect is left unknown to you.

Your character will be unaware that there are others going through the trial.

Only one person will survive until the final round.

+ Two paragraphs minimum. Decent grammar and spelling preferred.

+ Your character might – and, most likely, will - die.
- Please don't join if this may be an issue to you.

We're starting with an introduction round before the true interrogation starts. There is the possibility for people to be killed off, however, it will not be a compulsory requirement... unlike subsequent rounds.

You do not know how you got to this room. You also don't know that there is anyone else going through the same ordeal as you.

Before we begin, I feel I should say that I do not expect massive posts. There are many people who have joined that I know are short of time, but I would rather we focused on speed and quality than quantity of words per post. Two paragraphs is the honest minimum. If you are struggling with even that or time in general, I urge you to bring it my attention.

Hopefully, we can reach a finale with an ample amount of mortalities~

Because this is supposed to be a short, pressurised roleplay and having to take multiple rounds into account would make it more difficult for me to make an accurate decision.

The doctors are there to get a job done. The first round was safe to ensure you are all conscious and able/willing to talk. 'Safe' subsequent rounds are a waste of time for them.

And yeah, your characters can now go on and live their lives, after they've recovered from their near-death experience at least. House's character can even go get some pie 'n' chips finally.
