I, Ozymandias, welcome all of you aboard the HYDRA Airship, the Pro-Darkness' mobile HQ.
As you know our current state in the war isn't taken lightly. It is true that a larger percent of the populace supports the complete removal of Dark Matter from our Earth. Although this is what we also stand for, we would rather obtain it instead of sending it back out into space for it to regroup and attack again.
I have been over seeing Doctor Manhattan's support of the Operation before he was taken and before the people knew of the project itself. It is sound, my friends, and we can harness the matter safely without anything going wrong. From there we can both dispose of the Dark Matter appropriately and use it to enhance humanity. Then we can begin a crusade against this foe and create more machines to absorb it and be free from the threat for good instead of leaving it out there for it to return.

As you have been notified, I've been granted the right to command this faction and lead it against those of SHIELD and their supporters. Last thing I would want is war against them but as you see, we have no choice but to deal with their ignorance.

Here, aboard the ariship, we will plot what needs to be done in securing victory for not only ourselves but Earth as well. If casualties must be made, then let us force that onto SHIELD. They will pay the price being so naive and taking extreme action against us.

No I know how it works sometimes you just can't think up a big enough post. I'm sure once we get more interaction you'll have no problem with the 1 paragraph limit. Work in more description, more internal thoughts, more action, and follow the rule of thumb. Put your thumb against the screen and type until you have a post that stretches from where your thumb connects with your hand to the tip. You'll have a paragraph then.

However, any secret plans they produce can't be known of by your character even if you know well of it. So any ambush they may try and pull, you are somewhat forced to be part of even though it pains you to resist. =)

Comedic Relief is just a mask Big-Head puts on to hide the fact he's losing his sanity. As POWERS progresses, Big-Head will become more, and more, and more insane, violent, and serious.

As far as ideas, we can RP our trip towards London! Like, what type of transport are we travelling in? Different character interactions, etc, etc. That way we can continue being active, yet not enter the main story of the first plotline!

I've read through the majority of the IC. Could someone briefly fill me in on the specs of what is CURRENTLY going on though? Like, right this instance. I'm down to sack London, but how would Dex-Starr end up inside Veidt Tower, or aboard Hydra. I can fly and all, but I'm assuming these places are fairly heavily guarded.

As for an update(though quite late), the Enlightened Ones IC has been temporarily 'closed'. I have made the final post in there and there should be no more after that until Chapter 1 is complete.

Oh, wow, everyone, I'm so sorry for disappearing. There was camp, then a surprise vacation. Then, my great grandmother had a stroke and we stayed at her ancient house to take care of her. She passed on Sunday.
