The Plot:
The Pirate age has been set in motion, All throughout the world aspiring pirates set out aiming to find the legendary treasure known as One Piece. The Wealth, Fame, Power that is rumored to come with it is more then enough to tempt those with swaying hearts. The Oceans ever expanding the Marines will make sure to bring an end to this pirate age, Swift and quickly no matter what the cost. Rules:

THIS IS A NON CANON ROLEPLAY, MEANING LUFFY AND CO NEVER EXISTED.

When you start, you'll have to make a pirate or a Marine character.

You have to decide where you will start. Be reasonable. All new pirates start as being experienced in the Blues and just starting off in the Grand Line.You are free to choose whether or not you want to start off as entering the Grand Line or first spent some more time in the Blues.

Depending on your characters actions, you will be assigned a bounty by Marine HQ that will increase based upon your roleplaying.

Marines can start on any location however they cannot have a rank above Lieutenant. Your characters actions and how well you Roleplay will decide whether or not you progress in rank or not. Remember, Marine profiles will be judged more strictly because it allows your character to start anywhere and usually at high level.

Only 1 Logia Or Mythical Zoan Fruit user permitted per crew until I say otherwise. Cannon Fruit are awarded through Contests.

Character Sheet

Name: Your name. Pick something piratey.

Age: How old you are.

Starting Location/Current Location: Where you start. People in the same crew start at the same place. After you begin your journey try and keep your character current location as up to date as possible.

Appearance: How you look. Try to be in depth since that always helps the feel.

Personality: How your character thinks and responds. Also add what your alignment is. IE:
-Lawful Good/Neutral Good/Chaotic Good
-Lawful Neutral/Neutral/Chaotic Neutral
-Lawful Evil/Neutral Evil/Chaotic Evil

Bio/History: What has your character done and who is he currently. The more in depth the better. Explain also your reason for pirating/being a marine.

Crew: Give the name and short description of your crew. People who are part of the same crew will start together and new crewmates can join at the captain's discretion. The number of crewmates also defines your boat.
Marines have squads instead of crew and the same things apply to them.

Try and form crews before we start in this thread and then edit your character template with the correct info. It'll be more fun that way.

Boat: What boat you have. Marines always have a Marine HQ version of a boat. http://pirateshold.buccaneersoft.com/pirate_ships.html This will help you decide. Yet again, be reasonable. Don't grab a massive Galleon if there's only two of you.

Also describe how it looks and what special mods it has. Be reasonable here.

Marines can also have their ride pimped at Enies Lobby and Marijoa.

Job/Occupation: Pirate/Marine

Rank: Only for Marines. What rank is your character. Starting characters can only have a maximum rank of Lieutenant.

Weapons: Choose your weapon and fighting style. Try to be original.

Items: What items your character currently has.

Moves/Fighting Style: Your moves including name and effect. What kind of fighter is your character if at all. Try and be as descriptive as possible.

Bounty: Bounties get issued every Saturday and will be raised according to your actions.

Devil Fruit: If you have it, explain what it does. Remember that you'll start of with the fruit in it's basic form. Remember it took Luffy 3 arcs before he perfected his Gomu Gomu no Gatling. Since two Devil Fruits cannot exist at once, you cannot use a Devil Fruit that has already been used in the in the RP. Cannon Fruit will be awarded via contests.

Color: What color dialog you will be using in the RP so its easy to distinguish the different RP'ers in there.

The Great Powers of the World
This is where you want your characters to end up, to become among the best in the world and stand shoulder to shoulder with the greatest. Remain active and your character could very well reach this level.

The Pirate King
The greatest Pirate of them all and the one who stands at the top of the mountain over all the rest. Only those who have conquered all of the Grand Line and defeated its obstacles can lay claim to this title. So far only one man have achieved this glorious position, Gol D. Roger.

Will your character conquer the Grand Line and claim One Piece? The gauntlet has been thrown down.

Marine High Command
The greatest authority in all the seas, and the military arm of the World Government. Theses are the high Officers of the line. They are tasked with enforcing the rule of law and eradicating the great Pirate revolution by any means necessary.

Fleet Admiral
The Officer who stands above all others and commands the entire armed force of the Marines. His only superior is the head of the WG itself.

They supplement the higher level Admirals.

The Shichibukai (The Seven Warlords)
These are the seven Pirates who have made a pact with the World Government to have their Bounties rescinded and become Privateers. In exchange for this freedom and autonomy they help provide a counterbalance against the Yonkou, and must aid the Marines when ordered by the WG.

The Yonkou (The Four Emperors)
These are the four great Pirates who rule as "Emperors" over the New World, the second half of the Grand Line. They have the highest bounties among active Pirates and are the closest to One Piece. It is the responsibility of the Marines and the Shichibukai to keep them in check.


The Revolutionary Army (The Dread Lock Empire)
A rebel faction that stands united against what they see as the oppression of the World Government. Their goal is the complete destruction of the WG and the liberation of all oppressed peoples everywhere. They stand as the greatest organized threat to the WG and have armed presences in the Grand Line and the four Blues.

The Revolutionary Leader
The leader of the Revolutionary army and the most wanted man in the world.

MAIN CHARACTER LIST
The list of all pirates and marines who tread the waters, making a name through themselves through the actions they take in the rp will be listed here. Bounties along with Marine Ranks will increase with the actions your characters take within the Rp.

The mysterious fruit that grants the strange characters of the One Piece World their powers, Those taken and currently used by characters will be listed here.

Impel Down

This is where the ghosts of inactive characters (those that haven't been used for more then two weeks) come to dwell, down at the bottom of the ocean. Just give me a ring on the Den Den Mushi, if you wish to have your character reactivated, and I'll send a word to 'ole Marines to set ya free.

Starting Location/Current Location: Anywhere.

Appearance: A grey weighted Karate gi with removeable protective pads at the knees and elbows. The gi has the kanji symbol for fight in black ink over his heart and inside of a white circle outlined in black. He is well muscled and wirey with a long hawkish nose. He wears reading glasses to read signs, words, books, and etc.

Weapons: hand-to-hand, flexible weighted gloves with plates in the front when the fist is closed. Weighted boots padded to protect the feet. Simple brass knuckles.

Items: A satchel with a talking book on Martial Art techniques, Tekkai, and Haki (His master in book form)

Devil Fruit: (Paramecia) Vak-Vak Fruit- Control air through creation of vacuums. Possible to create partial vacuums to move air or knock out opponent.
