June 26th, 2011. That was the day the virus first hit American shores. It came dormant in the corpse of a baboon thought to be carrying Ebola Zaire. Little did USAMRIID scientists know, they, and the rest of the human population, were doomed. Nearly three days later,the media was flooded with warnings of a flu pandemic and hospitals were overrun with the sick and dying. It wasn't until the dead began to rise four days later, did anyone realize something was off. Political wars seemed to vanish almost all at once when the world first became faced with it's corpse enemy, and once again the civilized human world was able to unite behind one cause. But what do you do when grandma suddenly thinks your brain is the main course? How quick are you with that trigger when Fido's ear falls off but he's still wagging? And can you really debate with a creature who has a family of maggots burrowing into the dead hand clutching a shotgun? It has been exactly one week since the dead began to rise. The human population is being decimated but there are still survivors struggling to remain among the ranks of the living. Do you have what it takes to survive?
