This is my first time playing with a character like this, I usually stick to males but I figured "what the heck!" and decided to make a badass female char. X)

General Information:
Name:Xannaphia Idril ((Za-nay-fee-ah))
Age: 19
Gender: F
Race: Half Elf

Appearance:

Distinctive Features: She hides her elf ears with her hair, when fighting she will tie it up in a ponytail, letting them show. She is not very tan, but not pasty white either. She has a scar on her left forearm from falling out of a tree when she was little trying to escape some wolves chasing after her.
Clothes / Armour: She wears light armor made of leather that is a simple black. It is separated into a torso cover that covers her full stomach and up to her neck but stops short at the shoulders. She wears long leather gloves that reach up to her mid forearm, barely revealing her scar. Her pants, also made of leather, covers her legs, that have simple grip boots over top her pants that reach up to her knee.

Fighting Style:
Weapons: Uses blades that are hidden inside of her gloves attached on the top of her lower arm. She calls them forth by pressing a small trigger on the underside of each arm, using the opposite hand for the opposite arm to press the button. The are put away in the same manner. They stick out 4" past the hand when in a fist. They are simple blades with no other ability but that to defend and piece skin.https://encrypted-tbn2.google.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTxH84DJv0Tl9eK9x0LQVGUvVX_SzTTZ P3mkVF08-ReD7x2htqWgAAccompanying the glove blades are blades that poke out the ends of her boots when she hits her heel on the grounds triggering a certain pressure that releases the blades, repeating this step also makes them disappear. They are the same make and model as the glove blades, only they stick out 3" past the toe. These weapons are perfect for her as she is good in hand-to-hand combat. She restrains herself from using the blades on her feet unless in dire need; otherwise she will only use her glove blades. Another thing to her advantage is that she is fast and light on her feet. Since she really has no defense she uses her reflexes to dodge or tries to deflect a hit with her blades.
Attributes: A weakness of her's is that she cannot stay out in the sun for more then 2 hours before needing to find shade in order to "recharge" herself, her "recharge" only takes a half hour. A natural strength is that she nights better at night. Her sight was inherited from her Elvish side granting her brilliant night vision.

More General Information:
Personality: Patient and calculating. Xannaphia likes to lie in wait for the perfect opportunity to take advantage of any given situation. She enjoys challenges, but can be a bit of a downer, being too blunt about certain topics. She enjoys funny remarks and being playful. Xannaphia is a fighter and will not give up until her body cannot move any longer and her mind is blank. If she if taken to the ground and in serious pain she will laugh and act as tough as possible to dis nerve her opponent. She tends to grin a lot and make sarcastic remarks; although, when she is being serious she acts no different so you can never actually tell how she feels or what she's playing at. Xannaphia believes in fair play and will never hit someone or take a blow at them when they are down. It's not that she likes to fight, she just enjoys the feel of winning. Her weapon choice is mainly because being close lets her know when her opponent is about to fall, if they are farther away she doesn't know if they are panting or have already collapsed. Even if she loses, Xannaphia won't hold a grudge, she will just want to remain in contact as to have a rematch later when they are better friends.

Background: Xannaphia was raised in the forest by her Elvish father. Her mother had died giving birth to her. When she was younger none of the other kids new that she wasn't a full bred Elf so they all played together as though they were family. She had a best friend, Amras, who was closer then any of the others. He was the first to find out she was a Half Elf. He never told anyone and still stayed her best friend. As they grew older the other Elves began to notice the change in Xannaphia for she has smaller ears, a human type body instead of a iron skin, Elvish body. All the friends she thought she has grew distant and finally stopped talking to her all together, except for Amras. To keep him out of trouble for being around her they would go out in the woods together so that no one else would see them. They often went to a little hidden oasis where they would talk and be happy. Xannaphia's father soon began to worry about whispers in the village about Xannaphia so he took her out and taught her how to scavenge, track, kill, and live on her own. Skills that helped once the Elders of the village decided she was a stain that brought bad reputation to them within the other Elvish villages.

Xannaphia was exiled at the age of 15, only left with the memory of a home and the light armour her father gave her. She made a home anywhere she could and was constantly on the move, something her father taught her to do. Amras always searched for her even after she was gone for a year. It took Xannaphia 3 months before she discovered the hidden blades her father had installed into her armour for her survival. Having free time everyday she was able to teach herself how to fight and always tried out her skills by purposefully letting bandits catch her. By the time she was 18 she just as nimble and efficient as a full Elf.

One day when she was letting herself be caught she realized that these were not normal people, they were Elves. With new found motivation she was able to defeat them all, 3 against 1. She left them bloody, broken, and with a message. To go back to whatever village they were from and tell their Elders that Xannaphia Idril was to be considered a threat among all Elves. It wasn't long before all villages new, including her former home. A bounty was put on her head and she was on the top of their list. With a hidden meaning to find her and be reunited, Amras took up the bounty to find her and started by getting all the information he could out of her most recent victims. He started his search in the same spot they had been attacked, while Xannaphia lay in wake for her hunter.

Knowing she was going to be attacked at any time she decided to stay at the same spot she had made her greatest victory. Two days had passes until finally a green hood came into view, presenting her with her opportunity to strike. She leaped from her tree and landed on her reaper, pinning him to the ground, face first. Moments passed before she realized it was Amras by his unmistakable whining whenever she won a wrestle. They were finally together once more, and survived all the next attacks that followed in the months ahead. Everything was well, they were happy and got to fight/defeat every Elf that came their way for both of their arrests now, until one attack went wrong. Amras didn't make it out in good condition thanks to an archer that had been waiting for them while they were busy beating they current enemy's. Amras was able to lodge a knife into the archer's throat before he put an arrow in his heart.

Amras died one day later, leaving Xannaphia alone once again. Stories traveled that her father was killed on a quest for the Elders by some "freak accident" but she knew better then that. Against her nature she held a burning grudge against the Elders of her old village, giving her enough motivation to keep fighting for her life.
